Who do you WANT as the Bills coach in 2015?

Coughlin. He knows how to beat NE -
Why is Leodis, of all people, mouthing off?
Uncle Monkeyhead replied to Uncle Monkeyhead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Leodis was in a position to make a tackle and got juked out of his cleats.....that's why he hurt his ankle. Wonder if he talks trash about the Jets this week....I mean, hey, he has every reason to say we'll "beat that a$$" since we did it earlier. Carry on Leodis. -
Offense is TOO predictable. At the slightest pressure, they know Orton will not move at all. KC figured this out too. Sammy does you no good if the defense rushes everyone because Orton will always be a sitting duck for the taking and he'll throw it away low or just take a sack. There's no threat of QB movement or roll out at all. This is easy to defend. If I were Marrone, I would have put time in over the bye to bring EJ in on a handful of plays....use him as that mobile threat to keep the kitchen sink D at bay at times. Can you imagine the confusion on D if EJ comes in ala pseudo-wildcat?? Hey....before you flame away, tell me....could it be any worse for the offense than what we trotted out there the last couple games?? They'd have to pause a bit to defend it. What the hell....anything should be on the table with the coaching staff's jobs and the no playoffs on the line.

5-4 and on verge of missing the playoffs for his entire career. Yeah. Carry on -
I highly recommend the younger generation on TBD to check out the Earl Campbell AFL on NFL Network. I watched last night and quickly remembered why he was my all-time favorite non-Bill RB. His play was made for slow mo NFL Films. Watching him destroy tacklers and literally leave them aching on the field in his tracks. The guy was a legend. Watching tacklers hang on for dear life while his jersey ripped off his body (at least two highlights showed this). He was my generation's Jim Brown. If you get a chance, record and watch this episode.

Mckelvin, Gilmore, not worthy; Buddy's picks

So revisit those drafts and tell us who you would've picked....CB's please -
When a team makes the playoffs, no one cares how they got their regular season W's. And this is the NFL. "On any given Sunday" (or Monday, Thursday, Saturday) is not just a saying, it's a reality. The Rams beat the Champs. Does that mean Seattle sucks? Miami beats the Pats*. We pound Miami. The Pats* pound us. There are no guaranteed wins in any sport. Every game might as well be a game between two 0-0 clubs.

You are right. These corners and safeties are part of the reason our pass rush works with only four. I see opposing qbs not finding guys open for most possessions of the games this year. Ask Stafford. Cutler. And Tannehill. When it really counted, they couldn't find anyone to throw to. Our DBs aren't exceptional, but they have been pretty solid. Btw, I hate this "shut-down corner" crap. Is there one cb in the league who hasn't had a big play or a first down happen on their watch? No. I've seen our DB's play far worse than they are this year. This year I see our offense getting the ball more due to a number of 3&outs....something we haven't had in quite some time. And yes Leodis can be better too, but last year, I think he played stellar football for a good portion of the season. Yet I still read a lot of critisim on this board.

Sorry but there are NO positives when they lose to the Pats....again and again and again........zero. I'm sure guys like Fred and Kyle would agree -

Official Hackett can't target Sammy thread
Uncle Monkeyhead replied to JohninMinn.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That in itself is the problem....it's a fine thought but we had one tight end capable of this, and the running game wasn't doing enough. So that's where getting the ball into the big time playmaker's hands has to be part of the gameplan as well, when you are behind and you don't have the luxury of continuing the gameplan that you mentioned. When you give up as much as they did for Watkins, you expect him to get the ball against your biggest rival in the biggest games -

Exactly JR. and D10....this guy was brought here for max production any way possible. Hell, put him in the backfield and hand it off to him as a change of pace....something....anything! -
Yup....op, I feel the same way, but not only on that 3rd and long. And how do you have a rook on gronkowski in that situation? Also the zebras were once again very predictable with some horsh*+ calls to kill us on both sides of the ball in crucial situations

People like to call games later in the season, with more acute mathematical implications, as "must win" games. And rightfully so. But I think this weeks game is a must win game. You are right....it's bigger than just first place 6 weeks in. This is a game that if won, can have that benchmark affect on a team like the Bills with all the recent history of sub-mediocrity. Biggest game of the year so far in this division.
