  1. Sign him. Let's keep playing Build A Bully
  2. I've been in Chandler, AZ for about 16 years. To me, when they decided to build the new stadium all the way out in Glendale instead of in Tempe or Scottsdale, they missed a huge opportunity to build a better following. The meat of true Cards fans are in the more developed social areas (Tempe, Chandler, Scottsdale). No one I know wants to drive all the way out to Glendale for a football game.
  3. O - Gronkowski - plays for the H8riots, but this guy is the baddest TE since Mike Ditka....and I wouldn't say I enjoy watching him win, but he'd be a great Bill D - Kam Chancellor - there's something to be said about such a huge figure laying hits on receivers and TEs that literally rattles their bones .....and those kick block attempts he strung together in one game last year.....he was just imposing his will on the other team.
  4. And here I was worried one of our players would be screwing up before camp.
  5. I would imagine that JH or his agent agreed to do the interview based on certain subjects or criteria. So the intensity comments probably came across as another opportunity to poke fun at JH in some way. Flip the tables too.....what if JH says to CC "hey you've been described as a blowhard....you really are a blowhard so when are you not?" I'm sure there were stipulations JH felt were not met and he's been burned by interviews before, so maybe that's why he purposely tanked the interview. It's making news tho, probably more than if it was a "successful" interview.....and maybe JH is now going to be criticized even more. So he probably made this a lose-lose situation
  6. I love this. This guy gets killed by the media relentlessly. Now they cry when he doesn't go along. Maybe Jim wouldn't mind talking X's and O's, instead of personal questions about his media-infused image
  7. Yeah, I'm bracing for it too
  8. I think Fred is the best pass-play blocking back in the league. Also in the top tier for yards-after-contact. These traits along with being a top veteran presence in the locker room, and overall team embassador...for me is enough to warrant him a roster spot. Any team would kill for these attributes.
  9. Nick O'Leary chuckled when he heard this
  10. I remember when they drafted him and most were saying "who?". He was on a talented LSU Defense and every big play highlight reel featuring sacks and stuffed runs showed Kyle right there tying up two or three blockers. I'll never forget watching that video. He was a beast to block even back then
  11. You said it. I thought he would have been the #1 sought after DC. There are some sh!tty defenses out there that could have used him.
  12. I think these two are the wealthiest out-of-work ball boys in history
  13. Merton was a great player. Always stuck his neck out for his teammates
  14. Well, not everyone is as smooth as you are Howard
  15. NFL.com has us at 20 http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000491129/article/nfl-power-rankings-patriots-reclaim-top-spot-with-stellar-draft
  16. Howard, good to have another old fart join us. I look forward to your insight and opinions. Will
  17. I guess I should have been more specific. It amuses me when I read the posts that have "$@&! " and the ones that imply that a pro football team has their head up their asses regarding a pic. You gotta admit most of these posts are from regular joes that have no clue when compared to the pros that are getting paid to make these decisions. Come on, you gotta give me that!
  18. Ha ha ha!!!! Spec of sand is what that amounts to. Yeah, Steve Stojan, Master Talent Evaluator. Come on I didn't say it bothers me, in fact I said it amuses me
  19. This board cracks me up. I'm holding out and letting the future tell the story as to whether this was a bad pick or not. How many of you scout and evaluate college players for a living? I'd like to see you in a draft room making the decision on who to select. Fans would literally be clueless on these players if they didn't have some writer telling them who has what skills for the NFL and how they fit in the planning of this team. And how many of the writers are dead wrong with their targets? I can see it now, the average fan in the draft room. "Ok I have my Kiper/McShay/Mayock lists here, so I'll start there...." Hilarious
  20. And let's face it, Henderson was not a typical lucky hit....he was always viewed as a top round talent, but fell due to character concerns
  21. They tried new and modern once....it was a disaster. Our current unis are the sharpest in the league.
