The J Train led By 2 Doug Crew
Uncle Monkeyhead replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm actually reading this? Nicknames ar earned and this team hass gone 0-0 this season last I checked. But lets just say we were 3 and 0 in regilar season and the offense is blowing out other teams......and someone came up with the J-train. the J-train? Really???? And some here are hopping on board? Bradham is on defens anyway. And so far him the closest thing to a J-train that we've seen. And wile I'm at it, Petting Zoo??? Yea I can see Kyle Williamson being proud to be a part of that silly s*** . What happening to this board? People ar getting all excited because Tom Bradly through a pic or two in Augest. This is ridiculis -

Until he comes up with a nickname for the defense, he has not done anything of great significance yet -
Leslie Frazier upset at Bills coaches
Uncle Monkeyhead replied to MarkKelso'sHelmet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So apparently he heard nothing about the game against Indy Sunday. He knew what they'd bring. And you better expect aggression at your host's first home ps game. Come on Lesley. Just admit. Your o-line did not play well enough to protect your starting QB. A huge part of their preparation should have been devoted to keeping QB1 safe. Also, a team with a historically crappy D that's bringing a new, ATTACKING, BLITZING philosophy....(that SOMEONE in his organization might have heard through the media)....is going to need to test drive that new car in preseason before they play their biggest division rival in wk 1. Hey Leslie....."c'mon man!" -
So much for the "injury". Tom Terrific was just that against the Bucs friday. And she's not going to just curl up in a corner after losing the love of her life, Wes Welker. Nothing speeds the recovery of a tragic breakup faster than a public display of affection with your new beau.

In response to Hogans drops. 7-11 is open all day but frequent clean ups are required in aisle 3? Thank Astro -
Anything is possible in today's NFL. I think the Colts last year had a lot less going for them than the Bills do this year, when you figure what went on with the HC and a suspect D, and no proven RB. Yes Luck was a polished QB....in college! There were no guarantees on how he would succeed in year one, much like Russell Wilson and Colin Kapernick. You just never know. No one figured Indy would have the season they did even without the HC going thru his deal. 8-8 could have been seen as lofty expectations with Luck having a good year. You just never know

Buffalo Bills Training Camp Report: 7/30/2013
Uncle Monkeyhead replied to Mike32282's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mike, as usual....top notch. You are the main reason I visit the board during traing camp. -
Not Bills related. I always liked Mike Rupert. Look him up, and watch the documentary "Collapse". I had a dream that he was my uncle and he was sitting there pontificating and holding court in front of me and my friends in the living room. And we called him uncle monkey head. That's it.

Great topic. I check this POS board about 17 times a day since I have had a smart phone. I can be totally busy at work, or on a date, or in bed, and I can't help but going straight to this board. I don't know why. I hate myself for it and I feel so cheap and unfulfilled every time I do it. What am I looking for?

Plenty of Bills mentions here as Clayton is curios to see all the changes to this and other teams http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=9503448

I liked the article but I also found a similar praising article on Rochester D&C. Two coming out at same time....makes me think that the BB PR dept has exposed their media mouthpieces. They are trying (and its understandable) to generate a lot of hype prior to training camp to get the fans excited for the upcoming season. That's what they are supposed to as a PR dept tho. But we can get on-board, excited, etc all we want. This to me means nothing. It would mean more if say they started the season 4-0 or at least beating the pats day 1.

Poll: Should the "Redskins" name be changed?

I'm the last person anyone would associate with being TOO pc. But this is what it boils down to: 1. The team name was not used in a negative sense, obviously. Why would a team insult themselves? It's actually used as a sentiment to the toughness of the natives who fought hard against the invaders of their country. 2. The majority who find it offensive are most likely not football fans who would get the point made in number 1 above. 3. That being said, I can see why a Native American would cringe at hearing the name. What if you were a citizen of am African country and a soccer team was named the Crackers and had a cowboy with a rifle on their logo? Maybe they admire Americans icons like John Wayne and Wyatt Earp. If you loved soccer and this didn't bother you, still it would bother other whites who just didn't get it. Not everyone will be happy and while it doesn't offend me, I can respect that it offends others. So, in keeping with the Constitution of the US, we have freedom of speech and the owner of a football team should be able to call his team whatever the hell he wants to. But I understand the sensitivity of the other side. -
I've always found it funny when someone on this board doesn't like a topic (thinks it didn't need to be posted, or has a problem with it going multiple pages) how they reply to it and do exactly what they seem to be criticizing. If you don't like that the post was started, simply don't reply and it will take care if itself. But go ahead and keep bumping it up and agitating yourself
