  1. Refreshing to hear the truth. These are people. Individuals with real thoughts and opinions. I think the safe cliche route of answerring questions makes me feel like I just wasted my time listening or watching. Talk on, Sammy. And btw, Sammy did say he could do better himself.
  2. While I will enjoy it at this time and keep replaying parts of the Monday night game I recorded, I will curb my excitement......because I've seen this before where it looks dire for the Evil Empire only to have them still end up killing us and taking the division easily.
  3. I always hated when Derek Jeter scratched his nut(s) at the plate. Who does he think he is, John Kruk?
  4. Hope that umbrella is jumbo sized. Storm rolled in.
  5. 8's probably low balling it. Just threw a number out there.
  6. While this is true, there is another element that the average idiot on the street doesn't have. And this is the case for all professional sports and celebrities. It's massive amounts of cash in the hands of those who haven't had to live in the same "world" as the average joe. Then these folks are treated like and viewed as royalty through the media and fans. I always laugh inside when I see players and coaches in press conferences, dressed in suits, mics and cameras hanging on their every word....like they just signed a peace treaty or saved a village from a massive catastrophe. The ratio here doesn't jive with the rest of the world. 8 out of 1660 is still a pretty high number for criminal behavior within a specific group
  7. That's a very accurate assessment of the Bills and being a fan. I actually believe that this loss will benefit the younger players on this team, including EJ. Get this ugly loss in early.... Just in time to expose where they are at as a team. They needed a reminder of why they need to keep working even harder. To me, a win with mistakes doesn't help them see the things that need improvement more than a loss with the same mistakes. They need to play hungry all year. I think some of the team were feeling a little too good about themselves....including the coaching staff. Does Doug start Graham over Leodis? Does Schwartz put Searcy in position to help covering in lieu of having P Brown learn painfully on the fly? These are some examples that I think the coaching staff has to look into. We'll see real accountability if they make some well needed adjustments going forward. Hopefully the Chargers did that for us.
  8. I've had a man crush on him since his AFC east days
  9. Kind of interesting little forum game....pick the player you'd want most from weekly opponent. Kyle came up a lot. My picks from the Bills first 3 opponents would be: Brandon Marshall Branden Albert Rivers (with Gates and Weddle not far behind) http://forums.chargers.com/showthread.php?t=101819
  10. These guys are doing it again...... How could these guys be so out of touch and not know what the game at the Ralph meant to this team and the city going into last Sunday? I mean, it should have been a landslide of Bills picks. I even made it my survivor pick. There was no way the Bills were going to lose. No way. This week it is a different story, but not that much....still a lot of high emotion for the team and the crowd. I see Buf 30, SD 24
  11. I might be wrong, and I don't claim to know anything about the material, but doesn't it seem like Seattle's jerseys are of a very dense fabric? It just looks like it's not as breathable as the the average NFL jersey. Denver's look that way as well, and so did our putrid pinstripe jerseys of the Drew Bledsoe days. Seahawks looked like they were suffocating in that heat.
  12. Says Bills can sustain success. Curious to see what this guy says. Can someone post the text? http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=11546656
  13. In Lee's defense, he sure didn't have a chance to be a Bills great with the sh!++¥ QB's we had NOT throwing him the damn ball
  14. Whew....it's good to have Loserville populated by more than just one. Thanks for the reply
  15. Anyone else having trouble playing the vid? I tried on two devices and a laptop. It's just grey and no play arrow
  16. Siri is pretty cool. I cussed at her once and she put me in my place! I also suggested to her to refer to me as Master. So she does. It went something like this: Me: "WTF, Siri?!" Siri: "Master! Your language!"
  17. Definitely the hit by Nigel that The Wiz mentioned. Knocked his own helmet off That was a wicked hit
  18. Not to take away anything from Henderson's encouraging play, but in that run it was also a combination of his block and Wake disengaging and thinking CJ would bounce outside, as he often does. CJ's move to the inside surprised Wake.
  19. Eugene is quite a small town, but plenty of watering holes. You probably won't find a bills backer or other city's backer bar, unless maybe Seahawks. I lived in Portland too and was in Eugene many times to see a girl I was dating. There was a bar near the university that might have enough TVs that might be showing the Bills. 6th Street Sports Bar I think is what it's called.
  20. I want this guy to call the game
  21. I never liked Cam Newton. I think I do now. That was adorable
  22. Shedding the culture of losing not only applies to the team, it applies to it's fans. Before Chicago I was not worried.... week one in the NFL is the most unpredictable week of the season. So for me, there were no thoughts of losing.....I expect this team to win every game.
