  1. Oh how smart everyone can sound with a great QB.
  2. Your point would be valid if everyone did that. Not even the majority does so that's what's wrong with people like you. You want to punish all the folks doing good with the money to protect the morons.
  3. Yes, kind of like social security.
  4. Bud, I know you're honestly trying to make a point. But if you re-read this to yourself you'll understand why this can't be taken seriously.
  5. Curious what you mean by "more viable"?
  6. That's funny. She's rocking a Buffalo shirt.
  7. I must say you are a posting machine Sir. Just curious what's making you post so much recently after being a member since 2010?
  8. Yeah. Jim hasn't been near as open about his Christianity as his wife but I think down deep that's where most of his change has come from.
  9. I'll use two words: Hunter and Jesus
  10. At this point Jaws is unwatchable - and I don't just mean that because he ranked our QB low.
  11. On my phone I can't see what information was used but don't you think there's at least some correlation between Internet searches and being popular? Isn't that essentially the information used today? Such as if you're website gets a certain number of searches you command more advertising dollars.
  12. I think Pettine can get them there, I do think it's going to take a few years though.
  13. I was thinking Stevie looked real good in those clips too, and he did - but the more it went on the more I can see why the decision was made to let Woods get most of the attention after Sammy.
  14. What's wrong with his wife running in to get the tickets?
  15. At first glance this seems like a pretty cool topic and exercise - until you start reading everyone's predictions and realize you can't care about / comment on agreeing or disagreeing on that amount of proposals.
  16. Yeah, it was tough for me to figure out how to make my point when the two drafts aren't related.
  17. This stuff will happen when the pads get put on.
  18. I respect you for posting that they corrected what they did wrong.
  19. I agree that Marrone will coach him through that, but I think "plays through the whistle" is a trait only useful in college to gain exposure for the NFL. I think the reason it's not useful in the NFL is it will get called - hence the reason it doesn't get called, is because it isn't done.
  20. That might be where we are disconnecting. I'm suggesting additional rounds will be added to the regular draft not the SD. I also understand that if the regular draft went to 9 rounds it wouldn't be those players entering the SD that are drafted based on understanding why the SD exists. What I'm suggesting is the NFL has learned they can't use the SD because of the lack of participation, but in the aftermath a bunch of free agents are signed proving the need for players. These free agents are a combination of players passed on in the SD and those that were eligible for the regular draft.
  21. I don't think the slap move itself is illegal but once applied to the back is where I think the penalty comes in.
  22. I'm not down on Cyrus and I like the pick but I did want to comment on the 3 videos provided in the link. I'm not so sure each one of those aren't penalties in the NFL. In the first video Cyrus shows excellent burst and pushes the defensive player back nicely - but after that initial hit the player attempts to get around him and is being held as you see the left shoulder pad fly up in the air, he then continues to hold the remainder of the play. This defensive player was not going to make the tackle and Cyrus better learn to know when to let go so that holding isn't called so far away from the play. In the second video it's quite obvious he slaps the defensive player in the back to push him down. That's a penalty all day. I'm not sure if this is a signature move of his but if he can get in front of the defender and slap him on the side of his upper body ala Reggie White, it would be one awesome move. I've always wondered why more people don't use the "Reggie move" and I wasn't even thinking offensive lineman using it. Kind of like why don't people learn they sky hook like Kareem mastered? The 3rd video is similar to what I was saying in the first but Cyrus IMO does a much better job of engaging and driving back (almost 5 yards), but at the end he should let go, especially when the job is done.
