I completely disagree. I think you're understating how physical the Bills are especially with the addition of Spikes.

Yeah the bottom line for me is we fans don't know what we're talking about by and large. I do respect the fan that is going to training camp and seeing more of the everyday play, but even then that fan isn't privy to the call room. We'd all be surprised at what little we know. To contradict myself it isn't totally out of the realm of possibility that coaches don't see things the fan does from 10,000 feet either.

But can't you see from the coaches perspective how risky that would be giving him those valuable reps when he hasn't deserved them? Then you're essentially taking away reps from the proven (at least to them) better player, and their now not getting better. I know it's easy to say "well they haven't shown anything so throw the other guy in there", well the fact is Thad and Tuel have shown something - that they are better than Dixon to their coaches.

I just watched the latest episode of Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. The opening segment is on Jon Dorenbos who played for the Bills for a couple seasons. If you get an opportunity DVR the episode as it's a real interesting piece relating to his personal tragedy and how magic helped him through it.

It's been my feeling this entire journey that there was nothing to worry about. I have absolutely no proof to backup what I'm saying other than it really is playing out so far. We can talk Pegula, Trump JBJ, Goodell, friends in the NFL, Morgan Stanley trying to get the most money, etc etc etc. I believe Ralph wanted the team to stay and Mary and her team are carrying out his wishes. I think you start out optimistic as a freshman coach that there can be this really good relationship between you and the media, but you quickly realize that even if that was true (which it doesn't) it gets you absolutely nowhere or nothing. So you're answers get shorter, you fulfill your obligation, and go back to your job.
