Patriots @ Bills 9/30/2012 Game Thread
ganesh replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because Fitz can throw in the middle of the field, but poor accuracy on those sideline throws. Our RBs did not help either....2 costly fumbles...In stead of driving the nail in the coffin, the bills gave the ball at the Pats 5 yard line. Unbelievable...2 Rushers with 100 yard games and they are not from the Bills. -
Patriots @ Bills 9/30/2012 Game Thread

He took a wicked hit on the INT return.... -
Actually this loss can be devastating to this team, considering they have two rough games to the west coast to follow. Also the perception of the fans will go down as regards to protecting our home field. The pressure to win this game is more on the Bills. Winning this game gives them an identity and puts the Pats in a 1-3 hole.

Great Read on how the Ravens beat the Pats last week.
ganesh replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think our D is ok as long as they don't do that prevent crap. The Jets game was lost because our offense lost its inspirational leader in the 1st quarter and blew the game up (and the ST just added to the misery). If the D can put pressure from the front 4 and have Brady on his A** all day, we will be ok. -
Being 10 1/2 hours ahead of EST, I just have not been able to do any thing the whole of Sunday.

"They won't lose three in a row" -- anyone else sick of he

Drive down 80 yards and score a TD....60 of those 80 comes on the ground and we chew 9:30 minutes off the clock. -
Running the ball is going to be harder. The Pats have one of the best LB crew. Gailey should not give up the Run too quickly...That puts the game in Brady's hands. Actually running the Wildcat in this game may not be a bad idea and a good way to have the LBs back off. This is going to be one hell of a game. It always is, when you know that the Bills are matched up well in a agame against the Patriots.

Really Worried about the Pats Rookie DE this weekend.

Gronk has 7 TDs in the past 4 games against the Bills....Definitely a Bills-Killer -
Injury Report - Messing with the Pats?
ganesh replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mankins did not travel with the Patriots to Buffalo. He is definitely out. Also, the league has sent out message to all teams to follow strict guidelines in listing injuries. -
The best stats for a QB is Yards-Per-Attempt... Passing Yards per Games, YPG is not a good ranking because the team is a Run-First focused team.

Rex and Sancheeez are 6-1 against us and we were swept by the Dolphins last season. Until we win games in the AFCE, no one will take us seriously.

Do people use priceline to bid for your Hotels. I did it twice and got Adams Mark for @50 bucks a night...A very nice and comfortable hotel. -
Injury Report - Messing with the Pats?
ganesh replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Updated Injury Report on ESPN has Gronk now listed with Hip pointer. Buffalo Bills: Both running backs Fred Jackson (knee) and C.J. Spiller (shoulder) are listed as questionable. Jackson is expected to play Sunday against the Patriots, according to head coach Chan Gailey. But Spiller is making progress, as well, and had limited participation the past two days. Cornerback and dangerous return specialist Leodis McKelvin (groin) is probable. New England Patriots: Backup receiver Julian Edelman (hand), as expected, is out for Sunday's game. The same goes for tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle). The Patriots had their usual long list of players listed questionable. The late addition was Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski, who suffered a hip injury and is now questionable. Offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back) and guard Logan Mankins (hip) are both questionable. Mankins didn’t practice this week, so he could be a concern. -
Interesting Breakdown of Super Mario
ganesh replied to Kipers Hair's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure the sacks are not there...the QB pressure is not there...But there are two things I like about Mario. 1. He makes game changing plays at critical times. 2. He has really helped the run game be more stout. He has been the main stay in not letting a runner like Charles or Richardson get to the edges. -
Pats Improved Run D---How Stats Lie...
ganesh replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope your prediction is right. Running the ball takes time off the clock and keeps Brady/Welker/Gronk on the sidelines. It acts as a double-bonus. The most important thing is Fitz to not throw INTs. He has thrown a ton of INTs against the Pats. -
100% agree....When I grew up in India in the 70s and 80s, the country cupboard was bare with regards to sports other than the 8 Gold Medals in Men's hockey prior to their Independence. Then in 1983, the Indian Cricket Team came out of nowhere to win the World Cup in England beating the mighty West Indies. To this day, I still remember every frame of those 8 hours and the post game celebrations as shown on TV 29 years ago and gets replayed in our mind over and over....That win changed how the team was perceived and they have gone on to be a powerhouse for the past two decades that now India is the financial capital for Cricket. Simply Amazing, how something changes our lives dramatically.

Here is what Mat Williamson of ESPN has to say about Jones, who is leading the votes for Defensive Rookie of the Year Williamson described what he has seen of Jones so far: "Jones is equally effective in a two- or three-point stance and he has great versatility -- which of course endears him to Bill Belichick. He has been the only consistent pass-rusher for New England, and that lack of other difference-makers really hurt the Patriots in Baltimore on Sunday night." Through three games, Jones has totaled 12 tackles, a sack, and has forced two fumbles. I hope the Bills protect the football and stop the rookie sensation.

Bills Patriots Injury Report *Mankins OUT!!!*
ganesh replied to Rockinon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is what everyone said about Sanchez....Some unknown street pick up FA RT had the best of Mr. 100 Million....Talk is cheap...While this DL is jelling nicely, I think Brady knows how to move the chains. I am really worried about this game. -
If Powell works out, then we have found our punter and kicker (Potter) for the next decade, something we were used to with Christie/Mohr and then Lindell/Moorman. Does this also mean that we are only left with Kelsay and Lindell from the Donahoe regime?

It's not Just about Money: Why the fre ride for "Real refs
ganesh replied to Mr. WEO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is not that simple (and is never is). The NFL as an organization went from a guaranteed pension scheme to a 401(k) plan for all their employees. They want the NFL referees (as NFL employees) to follow suit and the Refs are not budging..They want their guaranteed 30K whereas the 401(k) would restrict the contribution to 16K.
