I disagree. I think we can beat the Pats especially when the 12th Man will come alive for one last time this regular season. Go Bills!

What happened to the other TE today. Gray was never on the field. I thought he had made a couple of great plays last week.

Updated: The AFC Playoff Picture
ganesh replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And the Panthers are just a game behind for the top spot in the NFC South with a 4-8 record. It was so weird to see the Saints go to Pittsburgh and destroy the Steelers and then come home and lay a big egg against a divisional rival. For the Bills post-season chances: Losses by Chiefs, Browns, Dolphins were helpful Wins by Houston, Steelers and Baltimore hurt them. Also hurt by another conference loss. The bills have the worst conference record at 4-6. At least that will not change next week. And next weeks slate of games that matter: Oakland @ Kansas City - Can Oakland win back-to-back games. (KC goes to 7-7) Miami @ NE - If NE takes care of business, then Miami is 7-7 Pittsburgh @ Atlanta - This one is troublesome. Pittsburgh probably wins against Atlanta's lousy defense (PIT 9-5) Houston @ Indy - Indy should win at Home. (Houston is 7-7) Bengals @ Cleveland - Rooting for Bengals to win (Cleveland goes down to 7-7, Bengals will be 10-4-1) Denver @ SD - Denver gets up and wins on the road (SD - 9-5 or 8-6 assuming they defeat NE tonight). Jacksonville @ Baltimore - Baltimore should win at home (8-6). Baltimore and Pittsburgh will have it easy and I can very easily see three teams from the ultra-competitive AFC North to make the playoffs or SD bounces one of them. The Bills really have a chance only if they can win the remaining three. -
Doug Marrone: Jerry Hughes Wasn't Disciplined by Me
ganesh replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And if Schwartz did, why wouldn't the HC overrule it and bring him back. For Marronne to say that he did not bench him, but as a HC did not see his presence (One of the most important cogs on the defense) indicates either of two things: Either Maronne is lying or he has simply lost this team as he has no visibilty on what is happening on the field. -
Completely agree.. He should have benched Pears too. Made one of the dumbest penalties

We just don't know if the INT returns were penalties or not. CBS never showed the replays. On the other hand, call on Robey and Gilmore were bad calls. However, everyone has indicated that the penalty on Robey was really on Aaron Williams. If so, the refs really made one bad call (Gilmore). They could have easily called PI on the 4th and 6 play when Chandler was mugged. They should have called Personal Foul when the guy speared his helmet into the chest of the Bills player without the helmet. So may could have should have. At the end of the day, the team played like a bad team and hence lost. Bad teams find ways to lose. Our ST was horrible. Thigpen failing to call fair catch was inexplicable. The punts were poor. Even the coverage units were poor as the Broncos were returning balls consistently to the 30+ yard line.

The Tackles struggled all day. I saw Glenn whiffing on the defenders quite a few times. Henderson was better, but was still having a tough time. Freddy ran right into him a few times. I think not having strong guards is hurting us quite a bit. The biggest thing I saw was that this offense plays WITHOUT any EMOTIONS. Emotions drive football games immensely and sadly this team does not have that. Woods was lost for most of the day after making that spectacular catch.

Much of that came in garbage time. He threw two bad INTs especially the one in the end-zone. It cost us points. The second one was a lame duck throw that resulted in a TD in the ensuing series. The Bills were against all odds, playing on the road on the West Coast against one of the best teams in the league with a HOF QB who has been on fire; Thye needed to play mistake free football especially considering the calls that went against them and they blew it. Marrone, once again did not have this team prepared. The reason they stopped running the ball was that the Defense gave up a TD in under 3 minutes after half time putting them in a 18 point hole (increased to 21 soon). They had to throw the football at that point.

+1. Wish they had done the stop on the previous 3rd down. They could have an additional 3 minutes. -

I think you are the one who is not watching. Those stats were just published on TV, right before the Mario pressure on 3rd down. They gave several big Running plays to Thompson. Together with Anderson they have 100+ yards Rushing and THREE TDs. Who is not watching! -

And he is No Parcells. Marrone has to go. He has no handle on this team. No pulse. Has let a rookie WR brood too far...benched a 5M WR for most of the games.. -

How so. Just saw the stats....0 Sacks, 0 Hurries and 0 Pressure..... Hughes and Mario have been completely invisible. The DTs haven't been able to stop the Broncos RUnning game, when it needed to convert 3rd downs and Anderson has 3 Rushing TDs. -

Poor throw by Orton. He needs to be benched. So underthrown at the End zone. Throw it to the back of the receiver. -

Dumb penalties...This team is so undisciplined. This is on the coaches. Graham's turnover cost 50+ yards. Now Graham himself cost a good chunk of yards and a 15 yard penalty. This team keeps shooting itself in the foot -

It started with him going for the 4th and 1 on the DEN 39, instead of punting and pinning the broncos deep. -
