  1. You are correct that the players screwed up at critical times. But I can't give a pass to the Offensive side of coaching. The OL was horrible. We had the worst rushing season in the team history. Our RBs each had something like 2TDs each, while CJ Anderson has multiple games with 3TDs each. There was very little imaginative play calling. The QB position definitely did not help, but at least was stable unlike last year. The coaching staff on the O-side has definitely regressed.
  2. Almost like the Monkey is off their backs!
  3. And yet they started Brady for an entire half :wallbash:
  4. I don't think there is a "switch" in Manuel. He is a very inaccurate QB on the short and medium range passes; that is the bread and butter of the NFL. If you can't make those throws consistently, your team has ZERO chance. I don't know how Manuel can improve his accuracy.
  5. What was surprising to me about the way the pick happened was very Un-Steeler like. The Steelers hardly trade draft picks and let the draft come to them. If it was the Steelers, they are sitting and picking a Evans or Beckham at their slot or even trade down. Whaley having been in that system; it was surprising to see him do that. The Bills gambled a lot this season and lost. THe QB position, the RBs and the Offensive play calling sucked. It is a shame that we did not have a single 100-yard rushing from any RB the whole season.
  6. Agreed. We got blown by New England at Home.
  7. Have watched many of the ESPN, NFL highlights and in everything the talking head tries to bring about how GB could have won the game if Nelson catches the ball and the guests have admonished each of them by asking them to look at the type of Defense they are playing. They are not surprised that this defense is a top level defense based on the front seven. The surprise this year has been the play of Bradham and Brown. With Kiko back next year, this can be a top level defense.
  8. And the many questionable decisions he makes on the field. Let us not forget that.
  9. Cutler holds on to the ball too long (Like in our game) and makes mistakes. The biggest problem I believe with Cutler is his locker room presence. From everything said, he is a jerk and not a team-first palyer. Second, I got to think that he does not always execute the plays as designed by the OC. I am sure a team trading for Cutler will renegotiate the contract to be more friendly. Cutler knows that his time with Chicago is done. I am sure he would want to be starting QB somewhere rather than riding the bench in Chicago next Fall.
  10. That is actually giving him more credit. Those guys are much better than Orton at this point. I will take everyone of them above Orton
  11. And he found a Rambo Too!!!
  12. Why do you think negatively. In fact, Kiko who plays for the Bills was the leading candidate for DROY before the DT from the Jets took it away. If you play well enough, you will get noticed
  13. We too had one such head coach and he took his team to 3 consecutive 7-9 seasons......Dick Jauron. If he had a decent QB, may be the luck would have fallen his side to make the playoffs.
  14. And the Bills have to go 2-0
  15. Jets will get on Offensive coach. Giants - Coughlin will get another shot Oakland - Harbaugh as he likes the WC Miami - May be harbaugh; or they go after the OC @ Denver
  16. Or how many unlucky "losses" that the Bills had against KC, Houston. The pendulum swings both ways.
  17. But...But...He goes against the weaker RT and not the dominant LT!!!!
  18. Orton floated many balls against the Packers which went atleast 10 yards from the receiver. Where Orton has been good is the fast/accurate short passes. It helps move the chains. Someone pointed out this earlier; One of the biggest reason this offense is struggling is the average yards gained on 1st down. I believe we are close to dead last in the NFL. When you are in 2-10 and 3 rd and long, it is going to be tough. Getting Spiller back this week may do wonders to Orton.
  19. And if we cannot sign Hughes and Dareus to monster deals, we may be back to square on being an average team. Not having to pay serious QB Money is what allows this team to pay the DL.
  20. Mario was already a shining exception, when he signed with the Buffalo Bills, a small market team, where he is unlikely to ever get national recognition unless they won the Super Bowl.
  21. On the flip side, if Gilmore holds on to that INT, that is a pick-6. Both teams dropped legitimate passes/ints. That is what the game is all about.
  22. Steelers and Ravens won. Hope Chargers and Chiefs lose.
  23. They gave an extra play for the Packers.
  24. Steelers beat Falcons 27-20
