The colts are very good against the run. They are going to push Allen to throw the ball downfield and he is lacking his top two receivers....Allen needs to find Shakir, Kincaid, Cook, Davis and even Knox.
The Bills were never 1st place in AFC East during that period whereas the Colts were mostly AFC South champions (with Manning). Hence, they got to play only once every three years during the inter-division games.
Agreed. I think we are going to the dink-and-dunk offense...though Indy's run defense is premier. This is going to require Allen to be on top of his game for 60 minutes.
That time we had speed in John Brown to take the top of the defense...With Beasley lethal in the slot, it allowed Diggs to pretty much opportunity to go inside or outside.
We currently don't have a John Brown equivalent on this team...
Speed kills. The Dolphins have speed with their backs and WRs. The Bills cannot compete with them on that. They played a defensive game and asked their offense to score more points and they did. Go Bills !!!
very well said. As I wrote in another thread....being "good" is not enough in the playoffs. To win the SuperBowl you have to be great with a bit of luck. You have to be excellent in all areas of play and coaching. The playoffs (especially the final 7 games of the post-season) are intense chess matches and will strain you both physically and mentally. You have to be super tough to come unscathed. I hope and wish the Bills can raise up to the occassion and life the Lombardi. Go Bills !!!!
They lost to to the Texans on the road after taking a 17-0 lead....The defense completely let us down there....especially on that long 3rd and 16. in the 4th quarter
They almost lost to the Colts at home
They almost lost to the Dolphins (with their 3rd string QB) at home.
In the playoffs, being "good" is not enough...you have to be "great" every game
Kindly update this thread once Allen gets the remaining 400 yards to pass Bart Starr
>
Key Look Ahead: Allen is a little over 900 yards from passing 2 more HOF QB's...Bart Starr(533 yards) and Bob Griese(907 yards)
Key Look Ahead #2: Allen is a little over 2100 yards from passing Jim Harbaugh for 75th place.
The above comment was added after the Titans game. Bills have played the Seahawks and Dolphins after that...(518 yards)...
