  1. The defense was outplayed. Give credit to the Jets!
  2. It is poetic justice that the Giants pushed out Tom Coughlin for Ben McAddoo (Who??)...Tom is having a great season down south.
  3. we have a weak OL. They have been absolutely dismal in the run game when we need it on the road. Tyrod holds on to the ball too long to avoid mistakes and takes sacks. His OL doesn't do any favor for him or McCoy. I don't think these coaches have a chance to run an open-play when the LBs are in the backfield before the ball reaches the RB.
  4. Exactly. He fights for the ball and can go get them even if Tyrod is a little wayward.
  5. good point. I forgot the road game against Atlanta. I agree that the tough one is the win against NE at home. We need a pass rush. They have to get Laswon ready for Brees, Saints, Smith and Brady. That is the four QBs we will be facing in the next four games and they will determine our destiny
  6. They would anyway need more pass rushers..that is how they win the division against Brady. No Pass Rush, Brady will kill you.
  7. And he had one catch for the whole game.
  8. It starts by beating the Patriots. We have to go 8-0 at home and protect our turf
  9. IF we win two of the next four, we will be in good shape for the final four games. Good teams have to start putting away opponents irrespective of their rankings. That is always the hallmark of the playoff teams.
  10. We should aim to win out at home...that gives us 8 wins and we need to look for 2 on the road (Colts and Fish would help). Those WC trips are always hard irrespective of the strength of the opponent. It all starts with a win against the Saints at home. This team has 10 days to prepare for Brees and Company.
  11. Divisional games are always hard fought even if one of the opponents is bad
  12. The assumption here that the #2 QB is a second coming of Tom Brady is off the charts. NE Backups have not gone out and had the same success as Tom Brady. Even their coaches have had piss-poor success. They have not been able to replicate that system because they don't have the same QB!
  13. In a QB rich class (as everyone claims) putting out a 2nd rounder on a future QB is a good idea. Tyrod can be the bridge QB and if he does make it to the SB, then he will be our QB for a long time. If you don't even "try", how can we get a "result" Tyrod game ticks well, when the run game is going wild. When teams stop the run and put the onus on Tyrod to beat them, he has to show that he can do that. Having Benjamin and Clay in the huddle will help him to go for it. There will be games like the one against the Bengals and Panthers where our Run game was stuffed and they dared Tyrod to beat them. He has to show that he can do it.
  14. That is a slam-dunk in favor of the Bills. That #2 pick may be a later pick with the way the Rams are playing, but the drop off between Sammy and Benjamin are not that big. We still have significant holes at LB, DT and need depth at several positions including CB, S, RB
  15. I believe they can cut him and then re-sign back as a FA. BUt that is exactly what you want them for. Either to build depth via the draft (which we need quite a bit) and/or trade for better players.
  16. THis is like how the Seahawks ripped us off in the Lynch deal!!!! Unbelievable. The Eagles just got much better with this North-South Runner
  17. If that is the case, why would other teams throw in 1st round pick as compensation like others are claiming. Damaged goods is damaged goods across the league.
  18. And I hate people publish "subscription" material in a free forum!
  19. Agree. This team is different. Last year we had big leads at half time over the Chiefs, Raiders and Seahawks (On National TV) and yet we fumbled and bumbled through the 2nd half to lose those games. This year we have been in every game to the last minute. The mistake we made in Cincinnati is that we did not take advantage of the turnovers, something that needed to be corrected.
  20. Actually our game plans have been fairly simple unlike the complex crap from Rex and his cronies...Keep things in front of you and go after the ball. As long as our Run the ball and stop the run works well, we will be in control. We ran for 150+ yards against the Jets in the Season opener and kept Matt Forte and Bilal Powell under complete check. Can they repeat that performance.
  21. +1. The only thing that keeps ST's spectacular is the KR team. They are almost on the verge of giving up a huge play only to bring it back due to a penalty.
  22. Offense - Shady Defense - White (He shut down the Oakland Juggernaut) Spectial Teams - Schmidt - His punts were fantastic Coaching - Frasier. He had his team prepared in spite of injuries to his starters I picked only one player/coach for each section.
  23. It has been tough for the Bills to beat the Chiefs @ Arrowhead.
  24. As per his teammate, he broke a couple of RIBs in the game against Washington and then he was never the same. He threw a league leading 23 INTs.
