Agree...I think Bass has been a great addition for this team; who can be here for a very very long time....like Moorman our Punter One thing I see with Roberts (or at least a perception) is that he appears to not have the right speed on the return. He seems slow enough that the gunners are able to get to him quickly. He works around coming guys and makes them miss but don't see the speed.

Their OL was suspect last year too...and they won both the games against us, albeit us being in both till the end. Of course they had Tom Brady at the helm who knows how to get the ball quickly to his slot receiver, TE and RBs. They use speed to overcome their WR deficiency. Let us see what they do this week. Go Bills I think Gabe is talented enough but a different type of receiver. Daboll is using Gabe as Smoke;s replacement and that might be a problem. he needs to get Davis involved like he does with Beasley. Davis is a tough WR and can take those underneath catches...that avoids Diggs getting beaten up on those crossing routes.

Playing smart football is not defeating yourself. If the Bills are given only the underneath stuff, we need to take it and work with it...move the chains, run the clock, keep the other team off the field, score points, even if they are FG...and come out with a win. The Patriots have won many games the ugly way....the important point is making the critical plays....

Our defense "was elite last year" -----> Do check the teams and QBs that we played last year. Our defense is middle of the pack that protects the end zone. Last year the QBs we faced were : Brady, Fitz, Darnold, Mayfield, Duck, Lamar, Dalton, Mariota, Allen, Haskins, Wentz, Prescot, Jones. This years QB faced: Darnold, Fitz, Goff, Mahomes, Tannehill, Carr Goff, Mahomes, and Tannehill are playing at MVP level and Carr has had a very good season. Event Fitz this year started with multiple 300 yard games. Competition is different and we are getting exposed, Even last year, the Houston Texans exposed this defense in the playoffs.

Agreed. Darnold is not going anywhere. While Darnold hasn't played very well, he also has had a coaching staff that hasn't supported him well. The decision to keep Darnold or trade him will be on the next HC of the Jets

Is he better than Addision and Jefferson ? If they are doing a salary purge (and saving 6M) why would they take on Murphy's contract (and pay the remaining 4-5M) Let us give him time to develop. We expect every 1st and 2nd rounder to be super stars from day one
