  1. They were trying to take the firearm he was illegally in possession of after he had shot and killed someone with whom he had an altercation earlier in the night. Do you want to wait for the facts before calling the arrest of someone who shot and killed while illegally in possession of a firearm a "tragedy"?
  2. Yes, there is video evidence in Kenosha, Portland, and other cities of police coordinating plans with whatever you want to call Rittenhouse and the Patriot/Militia/Neighborhood-watch-for-not-my-neighborhood or the Proud Boys where they are explaining their future plans and movements. Thats coordination and cooperation. If it was just a thank you and a few water bottles I'd agree with you.
  3. Did you read the charges that have been filed against Rittenhouse? I find it very interesting that you know the felony history of the deceased but you're blithely unaware of any laws Rittenhouse may have violated.
  4. Aren't you a law enforcement officer? And you're guessing?
  5. In your professional opinion, should the police coordinate and cooperate with a bunch of teens who rolled into town from the surrounding burbs to play Call of Duty Kenosha?
  6. Its called legitimizing armed vigilantes with zero qualifications to enforce the law and in this case it *shockingly* ended in tragedy.
  7. I'd be hard pressed to recall the last time I heard someone talk about locking up a person of any race as a preventative measure for mass pregnancy. The legality of preventing future pregnancies by incarceration is questionable.
  8. ??? Hes completely against deputizing armed militia like Rittenhouse and said nothing about race in the second video.
  9. Awesome. So you authoritarians would rather lick the asphalt one last time before meeting your maker? If complying gets you killed and resisting gets you killed, I'd rather go out standing on my own two feet. At least give myself a fighting chance. This is fun! Or he was wearing gloves and a mask because of Covid.
  10. These groups generally appear to have the support of the police. There's evidence of some level of cooperation in Kenosha and in Portland.
  11. It is of note. I took a quick look at the map because the talking points from media outlets are "drove from out of state", "crossed state lines". The terms are evocative so immediately my spin meter went off. Its language that while factual, wants to create an impression that he crossed the Alps to shoot people in a community he has no ties to. Turns out he's rather local.
  12. Antioch, IL looks to be about a 20 minute drive to Kenosha, WI.
  13. If you aren't watching women's tennis right now then you're not a real Bills fan.
  14. Yup. I haven't noticed the lack of crowd noise in NBA or NHL games since the game play has been no less intense. What I have noticed is that we can actually hear the on ice communication which is kind of interesting.
  15. I was highly critical of Leveon at the time he sat out but watching him last year I can only say that I was impressed with how hard he played while they were out of playoff contention and down big in games. He played most of the year with no passing attack and defenses selling out on the run. I didn't see a team cancer or a quitter.
  16. The one is ugly. The other one is pretty good looking, a bit too thick for my tastes. Shes just a crazy, co-dependent, rube from somewhere near Houston.
  17. I've encountered it before. I work with a few women who I call reverse gold diggers. They are dating men twice their age who they financially support.
  18. Daddy issues at minimum. Massive insecurity issues too.
  19. Ya don't dig?
  20. He would have to understand that he has virtually no track record of pressure kicks. He has never made a PAT! I really think he and his agent would be foolish to expect much more than $2 million to $4 million with a load of incentives.
  21. Speaking of which, I a have an acquaintance who has a recurring bit on social media called "Couches of Delmar". It seems Delmar, NY leads the nation in curbside couches.
