A lot of guys would have jealousy issues with such an arrangement. Good for you.

I was really doubting my own memory so glad to see there are at least two of us living in the reality where Terry has some regrets over the best decision he has made in his tenure in professional sports.
-
I was just about to post the same thing but I can't find the quote. The fact that years later and so much success on the football field he says he would not make the same decision today is just horrifying.

Hes got a season and a half left on his deal. Time to pay him or deal him. Is Tuch someone you can build a team around?
-
Which is why I posed the question upthread, what changes do people reasonably want to see? Mostly I've seen demands for human sacrifice or to send every player to bed without dinner and call up the entire AHL squad. I don't see any realistic moves that change the trajectory of this season by firings or trades. Trading while free falling down the standings isn't exactly a position of strength. We have one bad long-term contract on the books in Cozens. Sammy's contract isn't great but its not huge. Our long term commits are Tage on a nice deal, Dahlin and Power on big deals that Power has yet to live up to but the talent is there. There are a decent amount of pieces that have value between Kulich, Quinn, Benson, Tuch, and Peterka that can be used to re-work this team. The results are the same this year but a few years ago we were tied to Okposo and Skinner and the prospect pipeline was looking pretty dry. Firing Adams or moving Tuch at the deadline seem like potential moves.

I don't see how that makes him a locker room cancer.
-
The solution is in the room but the question isn't what Terry thinks it is.

What did Bledsoe ever do?
-
I'd send these guys to the front.

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

Just wanted to point out that the highest rated Bills WR on this chart is MVS. -
-
So was Bruce.

3 sacks, 10 QB hits, and under 50 rushing yards allowed yesterday. Weird timing for this take.
-
Josh gets the nod because QB is so much more important than RB and DE in the modern game. If you are starting a franchise and get to select one player, its not even a decision.

You trying to take a victory lap after a week where a RB was our leading receiver? Running back and two tight ends were 3 of our top 4 receivers. Seems ill advised but strut your stuff. -
It looked a lot closer than it was. This game was effectively over after Detroit failed to recover the onside kick.
-
Who do you want fired and who replaces them?

Sabres end the streak today, pretty much guaranteed. I watched nearly every minute of the 9 game losing skid so while my attention is firmly on the Bills this afternoon I expect the Sabres to score 7 goals and only give up 6. Same thing happened in 2022. I watched every minute of the 10 game skid then I went on vacation and they rattled off 8 wins in 10 games while I was unable to watch.

Would you sign up right now for a Buffalo at Kansas City AFCCG?

Absolutely. I'm more concerned with the Ravens and Steelers. -
Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
Jauronimo replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hell of a performance last night from the unstoppable Rams. -
Half the roster had career years in scoring. Skinner was out of Krueger's doghouse and had one of his bigger seasons, with a scoring % of 14.5%. Tage exploded with 47 goals and a 15% scoring % (hes shooting 19% this year!). Tuch had a career year with 36 goals and 16.5% shooting %. Tuch's next best year was 22 goals. Cozens netted 31 and was scoring on 14.7% of his shots and hasn't sniffed 10% since. He scored 18 last year. Tage is the only guy listed who has come close to performing at the same level. Our Power Play was top third in the league in 2022-2023 instead of nearly dead last. We are getting much better goal tending and the defense is playing considerably better but the results are pretty much the same as the year we almost made the playoffs. In 2022-2023 we also had a nice 10 game losing streak in Nov-Dec so maybe we are back to that level?
-
It was a listless first period, a so-so second, and I thought they played an excellent 3rd period but by that point one fluky goal and they were pretty much sunk. Too many chances allowed and too many chances for without enough to show for it. Losing 8 games in a row when 7 were at home is typical of a team that insists on doing everything the hard way. Accountability has arrived. Doesn't look like it suits them any better than whatever Granato was running. I don't think its the coaching.

Opinions on this wonderful 2024 Bills season at 10-3

I don't think KC is making it out of the divisional the way they are playing right now. Its a dangerous way to live.
