Aaaaaand we're getting Carl 2.0 in the form of Henry. He realizes that bullets travel long distances and he doesn't NEED to be in the cage in order to kill people with that rifle right? As soon as he entered the cage, I said to no one in particular "should have stayed in the house, just like Carl back at the farm, this ain't gonna end well." I can suspend disbelief to a certain extent, but some of the things they throwing out there is a just a bridge to far for me. Did anyone who DVRed it get two hours worth of recording on a one hour show?

I bet in VERY private circles he does probably crack the wise at some of the uber fans of the show (particularly "Community lady") I wonder if he gets some carryover fans from the show to see him do standup? Yes, AMC has gotten a bit carried away with "processing" shows for sure. Seriously is ANYONE anywhere even remotely interested in any of the Fear morons that they need to "process" the events that happen to them? And yes, seeing some of the actresses glammed up is about the only redeeming quality of the show.

Oh man, I thought I was the only one who couldn't stand this hack! Whenever a character on the show dies, he likes to let us know he's "here to help us process what was saw." Dude, it's a TV show, I just don't have that much invested and every three or four weeks he brings on that wack-a-doo that used to be on the show "Community" because she actually takes freaking notes on the show... she has a notebook of observations about the show!!! WTF?!? My DVR bleeds over into the first segment of his "processing" program and end up hate watching about five minutes of it just for the giggles it gives me. He takes himself and his "aftershow" entirely too serious and he also does this type of show for Better Call Saul I think?

Oh that made me laugh way more than it should have. Agreed the Dalton faces were hilarious! Damn... I'm gonna end up watching that like a dozen more times!

I was at a bar with my wife (life long fins fan) sitting at a small table. Most our friends were bellied up to the bar including one friend who is a Ravens fan. We both knew what was at stake, but neither of us really spoke about it after the late games started Sunday. The Bills and Ravens were side by side on the TVs above the bar so it was easy to follow the back and forth action. My team had just beaten my wife's team, but she knows well of drought, so she was hoping for the best for me. As we're watching the Bills chances ebb and flow during the remaining moments on the TV, I'm texting my friend in VA who's at NYE dinner with family and can't see the Ravens/Bengals outcome. When Dalton converted the 4th down play my wife said, I was just staring at the TV mouth open and in shock basically that for the first time in a long time the dominoes fell in Bills favor. Wife gave me a rub on the back and a kiss and told me congratulations. I texted my friend in VA "The Bills are going back to the ******** playoffs!" I think all I said to my wife was "I can't believe it." Only to have the moment ruined by an obnoxious Broncos fan in the back yell "Good! Goodbye Ravens!" Which immediately brought out Hulk rage from my Ravens friend. (I was pretty sure a Donnybrook was about to break out, but it didn't). All my friends at the bar (including Ravens fan) came up gave me a hug congratulated me, Happy New Year, etc... strange surreal and really understated feeling/reaction.

(yeah a lot of changes). Left military service, worked in the civilian sector for seven years, came back and now I'm a DoD civilian. Owned two different houses, owned five different vehicles (only 2 I truly liked) I've been to over 300 major and minor league baseball games and seen two no hitters, one NLCS and one NLDS game each and three Triple A playoff games.

1979 Bills versus the Bears. Bears won 7-0. Eight year old me, should have taken that as a sign for the overall mediocrity I was going to live with most of my life! I did get to see Walter Payton play in person though, so there's that.

I don't live in WNY anymore, but in Denver attendance is down, not to the level that is in Buffalo. There's plenty of factors IMHO, a fanbase suffering from a raging case of apathy (albeit a less severe case in Denver), not much return on investment, other/better options ie: watching from the comfort of your home or local bar, cheaper prices for food/beer/soda, traffic (especially in Denver's case) less chance of ending up a donnybrook at home or bar than at stadium, parking lot, wherever and of course weather.

Well it's a little dusty in my office this morning. I really need to get after the cleaning crew about that. Thanks for sharing that.

This ^^^^^^^^^ I will bet this happens to almost all of us now, when watching the Bills or ANY NFL game, a team scores a touchdown and immediately where does your eyes go? To that little portion of the screen where the "flag tab" pops up. Was there yet another penalty that will negate the score? Then no one, none of us really know what a catch is anymore, it varies from game to game and sometime even play to play. You can't get excited about anything and be in the moment on a score, because you first have to check was there a flag, next did he really catch it, did he maintain possession all the way through... blah, blah, blah. There's just no flow to the game anymore.

For me one of the things (among a few) is NFL fatigue really. The NFL seems to always be trying to force feed me every single event as "THE EVENT" the schedule reveal, the pro bowl roster reveal, combine, etc... They are trying to make the NFL part of every single day's 24 hour news cycle. There are two radio stations in Denver that are essentially 24/7/365 Broncos talk regardless of the season (and the Rockies had a very successful season). At a certain point, you just say, enough is enough. It's like that friend that you have that's constantly trying get you to watch a certain TV series. You can only hear how great some show is before you finally just say, "Dude, I'm not gonna watch it, let it go."

Colorado Springs is building like there's endless amounts of land... which there is as long as you go east I guess. It's a very military/transient community, so turnover on housing is never-ending. I've often said if you Colorado Springs east of I-25 (which divides the city to 70% east and 30% west) was a restaurant, it would be a Chilis or Applebees; bland and pretty characterless. Anyway, to answer your question, the market here seems to be doing well again after the blood-bath of 2008. It seems to be coming back.

I somewhat know him based on my job at the Academy and he's a great kid, not only says, but DOES all the right things. In my limited contact with him, he strikes me as the character type guy that Marv used to love. He's a hustler and hard worker and if he can take his talents to the NFL level, he could be a very valuable asset to the team. When he comes back for graduation events in 10 days, I'm going to try to run him down and find out what he thinks his chances are becoming a Bill.

Just most every other thread there really is no protocol, it will either eventually unravel into something completely different or just move farther and farther down the page as people stop commenting. Normally, you just comment whether Yes, you find her attractive and would enjoy relations with her, or you say not and try to make some sort of snarky comment about how you've had much better in your time... because this is an online message board, there's no way to validate any claims of having better, so snark away!!!! All that being said, yes!!!

I already did, what did he say?!?! Just kidding EIE. But seriously talk about a "thread jack." I've seen some names on here, that I forgot about from long ago in "good/bad old days." The Dean was great and his legacy lives on with "shiv the mofo." Lana was great as was ajzeep. I saw somewhere a few pages back, someone commented about taking some time away from the board. I took about two years and it really didn't seem that bad. I'm not "addicted" to this page, by any means, but taking some time away allowed me to forget about perceived slights or other biases I may have had against certain posters, topics or viewpoints. All in all, it's good to be back here. I just can't see letting anyone that I don't really "know" get under my skin so much. Just my opinion though, I could be (probably) wrong.
