  1. Exactly. Why the heck is Marrone playing Pears at guard? Or musical chairs with the rest of the line? He was handed a semi competent OL and turned it into one of the worst units in the league.
  2. Whaley's QB's E.J. Manuel* Jeff Tuel* Thad Lewis Dennis Dixon Matt Leinart Jordan Palmer Kyle Orton And based on the upcoming FA QB crop, that list is probably going to get a whole lot uglier. * Can attempt to use Nix as scapegoat
  3. Impossible! Did you know he caught 11 TDs five years ago?
  4. I'm just sayin' -- if our offense was as well coached as these two at giving press conferences, we'd be in the playoffs.
  5. They are really adept at saying nothing.
  6. Thad Lewis is a FA.
  7. Strength of schedule is total BS. Houston, KC, and SD all beat us yet pick ahead of us.
  8. Lawson, Dean, Pears.
  9. I hear that every week on TSW.
  10. He re-injured his calf muscle. His return today is questionable. He only hitched a ride on the cart into the locker room.
  11. He called a timeout 1 second before the 2 minute warning. He's slipping.
  12. That was the first NHL start of the year for Kevin Poulin, who started last night for Bridgeport. So frustrating.
  13. Edmonton is a machine, lost 8 in a row.
  14. It's better for us that Hughes didn't make it.
  15. Yeah, we don't want to upset the apple cart. Things have been going so well over the last few years!
  16. Vikings and Texans both qualify.
  17. The Titans would be on the list.
  18. QBR is just a terrible metric, it's a shame that ESPN tries to shove it in everyone's face (because they created it of course). Here's example #95329572354 why it's terrible -- taken from this season: Earlier this year Jake Locker lost to Cleveland. He went 8/11 for 79 yards and 1 TD and 0 INT. He averaged 7.2 YPA. His QBR was 99.2 Earlier this year Roethlisberger beat Indy. He went 40/49 for 522 yards and 6 TD and 0 INT. He averaged 10.7 YPA. His QBR was 99.0 One performance is decent (in mop-up time), the other is one of the greatest passing games in the history of the NFL.
  19. Football at 10AM is just Un-American.
  20. 4 of the 5 guys playing yesterday suited up for Chan in 2012. Remember the blocking on those beautiful screen plays? It feels like that was 10 years ago, not just 2. They weren't exactly the Washington Redskins' Hogs of the 1980s, but they were a somewhat competent line. Their play on the field yesterday looked like a 3-hour Chinese fire drill. There is certainly a lack of talent missing, but the coaching has a big part to play in this too.
  21. Denver looks like they have no interest in this game and just want to get back on the plane.
  22. Yeah, this is just wrong and complete nonsense (sorry, but there's no polite way to put it). This was one of the worst performances by a Bills' offensive line that I've ever seen. I believe it was our worst rushing total in 17 years -- and it wasn't because CJ Spiller ran the wrong way 3 times. I would be more than happy to break down all of CJ's 8 touches on the A22 tape, but if you can't even see the missed block in the above GIF, it would just be a waste of both of our time.
  23. Here's the GIF I promised you. This play winds up going for 2 yards. In honor of Kraig Urbik, I call it, "Crap Rolls Downhill"
