Serious question how good are 7-2 AFC teams (and LAC at 6-3)
QCity replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Serious answer - the best answer will come from the sportsbooks, entities that remove all emotion from their claims and back them up with real money (don't just use 1 book, try to get a consensus amongst all the major ones). And the consensus is that right now as of Tuesday 11/4/25 the Chiefs and Bills are both the favorites to win it all. In the 2nd tier and not far behind would be the Eagles, Lions, Packers, and Rams not necessarily in that order. Juuuust outside that 2nd tier resides the Colts, so I guess you could say the experts believe the Colts are for real (somewhat). Next would be the Broncos, they range from +1500 to +1800. That means they don't really have a chance unless some extraordinary events happen. Most interesting would be the Patriots. There's a lot of people here that are still mentally scarred from that franchise, but you'll be happy to know they are about +2500 to +2800. That essentially means the books are calling them complete pretenders with almost no shot to win it all this year (and if you think you know better, you can pay off those PSL's with one small wager). Chargers are even farther behind the Pats. Lot of season left. -
Yeah, ok buddy. You shot up before your free agent year and f**ked us. There's an out in your contract after 2026 when we can dump your ass but nobody on the roster is getting younger right now when we need you. But don't worry people, if we lose in the playoffs "all defeat is psychological"

ugh that looked bad -
Mahomes is definitely spending time in the ice bath. He took a lot of hits.
-
He really wasn't forced to make any superhuman plays, which is a good thing.

Atlanta running the slowest hurry-up offense I have ever seen. -
For those that don't follow hockey closely, Tom Wilson is one of the best fighters in the league and he's considered to be a fierce intimidator. He also happens to be the Caps' best player this year so far, leading them in points. In the past when we played against the Caps it was almost comical (and embarrassing) to watch our young kids shy away from him and essentially piss their pants. Not tonight. Not only did they not shy away from him, it appears they were actively headhunting him all game. Greenway took him on in a fight (a tie-up wrestling dance actually) and got him to take a fighting and misconduct penalty keeping him off the ice for 17 minutes. When he got back they took every opportunity to hit him. I have no idea if this means anything or if it will translate into wins, but I haven't seen a Sabres team with balls this big in a while.

I'm completely indifferent to it. It's certainly not an accomplishment that you can use as a flex, because if you do, you know damn well what comments are coming next.

Some might even call that tweet...cryptic

This thread is the perfect example of the telephone game. This morning Jeremy Fowler wrote "Several teams are believed to be in the receiver market, most notably the Steelers and possibly the Broncos and Bills." Possibly, as in speculation. This tweet took this quote and ran with it "The Steelers, Broncos, and Bills are all in the market for Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers" The thread title makes it sound as if the Bills are "all in" 50 page thread inc
