This is simply not true. -
In defense of Eli, all those QBs are heading to the HOF. He is definitely going to be a HUGE talking point for every Talking Head.

When I read the thread title I just assumed he was released from custody.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

I don't doubt that they sent out feelers to gauge property values, it seems like an astute move since they wanted to expand their existing campus. But ultimately they did not make a heavy investment, save for the Harborcenter which is clearly linked to hockey. Two buildings (that are currently being used) are a drop in the bucket when compared to the scope of a (supposed) multi-billion dollar project. I don't think there was ever a bar attached to the Labatt's brewery. The Draft Room is still there and is owned by Labatts. You might be thinking of 716 which was closed during the pandemic and sold to Southern Tier brewing, but that is inside the Harborcenter. Lagerhaus 95 was closed but that has nothing to do with the Pegulas, as I have spoken to the owner of that building before. Maybe it's subjective, but I don't see any large real estate purchases, and certainly not a sell-off, but it's getting off topic and I won't belabor the issue. -

I've never heard anything of the sort. Do you have a link? -

They built the Harborcenter before they even owned the Bills (Ralph was still alive). Since then, they've bought like 2 other buildings in the Cobblestone district and still own and use them today (One Buffalo headquarters and PSE corporate offices). It really wasn't a heavy investment, and despite people trying to read the tea leaves back then, it had nothing to do with building a football stadium in the area. -

Can we have a little looooove for the Seattle kicker, Jason Myers?
QCity replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
That may have been one of the best low-key punting performances in Superbowl history. 7 punts, 47.9yd average with 3 (!) pinning the Pats inside their 6-yard line. He only had 2 returned for a total of 4 yards, and handled every FG snap cleanly. -

Wooow. OK that's awesome and I guess Bill is off the Christmas card list. -
IDK what he said but he was on the field longer than Stefon Diggs. The production of that was kind of crazy - that Steadicam guy was putting in work. Someone just told me that wedding was real? wtf

4 minutes of ice time for Bryson. The amount of damage he did with so little ice time is kind of impressive. They looked like a team that's already out the door for their Cancun flights for this break. Kudos to Pitt for taking away so much space, but that effort was pretty disappointing. Maybe Jarmo makes a move now.

I agree. For some reason speaking this out loud is heresy. I understand why this wasn't possible a long time ago when there was only a 1-week break before the Superbowl, but the times have changed. Anecdotally speaking here, but a large percentage of my friends/family don't want to have a party on Sunday night and go to work Monday with a hangover. They want to spend their Sunday evenings at home, quiet and peacefully. But it's tradition or whatever
