I know what's wrong with Easley.

Did you say the same thing about Lynch? -
Everything he lacks in size and speed, he makes up for in vision and body control. Watch how he hits the correct hole and positions his shoulders and body correctly either to slip through or deliver a hit and keep his momentum moving forward. Can't teach size and speed, but I'm not sure you can teach vision either. Lynch had zero vision and just ran straight into a tackler or more than not his own blocker. I am worried Spiller doesn't have it as well. Too be honest haven't seen enough touches to know yet.

What dreamland do you live in? It is ALL about the money... Johnson will go wherever he gets paid the most -
The real reason why the Bills are under the cap
Dragonborn10 replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What are the highest paid positions on the team? QB and LT have to be two of the top 4. Our players either suck at those postions or at best are journeymen. That is why they are under the cap so much. If they had to shell out top money for these positions or top money for an elite CB or WR they would be right up there in payroll. McGee is well into his contract and we have no elite WR's. Honestly who after Dareus and Williams would you pay top dollar for? Wood is injured an unproven at center. Jackson is old. Johnson may be a one year wonder. Byrd - who knows? -
Are we suddently strong at LB???

Who is everyones surprise cut?

Moorman He was average at best last year, and Chan put him on notice last year publicly -
Johnson is not getting an extension...it's as simple as black and white

If you were Mckinnie what would you rather eat a doughnut or play for this organization???

Nix didn't soley focus on the defense the last two drafts. He took a RB and a WR with two of the first four picks last year and another RB this year. He has completely failed to improve the OL while choosing skill position players. Wasn't that Donahoe's undoing?

Miller was taken at #2. We picked number #3. Please pay attention... -
Keep him as the reminder for how f'in awful this FO is. They chose him instead of an OT. Then they ship Evans out for a 2012 draft pick thinking he is going to make a difference. **** can everyone and give the keys to the franchise to Cowher or Kirk Ferentz...

Lee Evans playing well in Baltimore

Your first "git 'r done" moment

Pat Williams and Antoine Winfield... At the time I couldn't believe how much the Vikings were willing to pay both of them. I still think both were overpaid as Winfield was solid but not all-world and Williams was great with the other Williams next to him. My opinion at the time was let them go, Williams because of age Winfield because of too much money...btw almost everyone thought and still does San Fran grossly overpaid for Clements. For the money I still think it was the right move. However had we kept Winfield and Williams maybe just maybe the Bills don't hire DJ who brings his small lineman approach to the game. Maybe we avoid taking countless CB's in the draft and our OL and LB's have more depth and talent. And maybe there is more opportunity to draft a top level QB or TE. -
I think the next demotion you will see is Byrd splitting time with someone else. He was just awful last year and half his rookie year interceptions were gifts. Who that someone else is I don't know? Wilson moved to FS so Searcy can play SS or Williams moved from CB to FS?

" 'They' put me in the right situation"
Dragonborn10 replied to FightinIrishBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is still a POS human being...And the league figured him out by years end. Philly will be kicking themselves when he goes down by week 6... -
Yes you don't get twenty but if you trade down you can secure an extra pick from time to time...Don't get me wrong I like Dareus but there were several DL that could have been taken in the top 10 that have just a good a chance to be great. Trading down several spots could have landed them a third or even a second that could have been used on an OT.

Who requests a trade to a losing POS franchise?

Fitz, Wood, and Levitre are all white...Buddy will get it done!

I watched all his games as an OSU alum. He will never play QB in the NFL. His mechanics are worse than Tebow's if that is possible and he only sees the first option before taking off to run. However he could be an Antonio Gates type TE. He is fast, tall, and runs well. I don't think he makes it as a WR as he is not quick enough. He is more strong and straight line fast making him a better option against safeties and LB's.

Normally I don't care that much to respond but my god man, are you nuts? Sharpe may be the best TE of all time although I would have loved to see Ozzie Newsome in his prime in Sharpe's era. Reed isn't going to make it fair or not. They will put in Chris Carter before Reed and with Marvin Harrison, Isaac Bruce, TO, Moss and others in the near future he doesn't stand a chance. It's a shame because I think he was so much better than Art Monk and equally as good as Michael Irvin.

Cut Maybin, Sign Best OL or TE
Dragonborn10 replied to BuffaloATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybin doesn't take up that much cap space of which the Bills have plenty. Why not sign the best OL and TE regardless of what they do with Maybin? Because Gailey doesn't plan on using the TE it now seems obvious. They will probably keep 6 WR's and that won't even include Brad Smith. They still may look at an upgrade at RT unless someone looks great in camp. As for Maybin, why cut him this early. At a minimum give him a few more pre-season games at OLB. Merriman should hardly see the field in the pre-season. Let Moats, Arrington, and Maybin get those reps. -
Prisco's top 50 FAs...15. Paul Posluszny
Dragonborn10 replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't see how Poz is rated ahead of Whitner. I also would like to see a quality TE but I'm just not sure Gailey will use one even if we had one. The strength of this offense will be a 3, 4, or 5 wide set. That may incldue Spiller as a wide-out and Freddie at RB. We have too many decent options at WR and RB to spend money on a TE that might catch 15-25 balls all year. I would spend the money on a swing tackle as you suggested and resign Florence.
