Is that the standard we’re using to define who’s considered a great QB? Fitz had a good game against our defense. Are we saying he’s great too?

Our record on the surface looks good. When you pull back the curtains and look at how the two losses went there are obviously some major concerns going forward. The goal isn’t to just make the playoffs. we’re past that mediocre goal. The goal should be to win the division and compete for a championship. I don’t see how we do the latter with how our defense is playing.

What a weird decision.

The guy rarely made plays so people assume that it’s because he’s constantly taking on double teams. I think he’s serviceable at best but clearly he’s going to be overrated because of how the defense is now playing.

Not a fun of Aikman but Allen was bad last night and didn’t do much to silence his critics.

Yes. I don’t care he was an alternate in the Pro Bowl or that he was a first round pick. As a MLB he’s mediocre.

Atkins is 32 and is owed $30 mil over the next 2 years. It’s a no from me.

Edmunds, Wallace and Oliver are mediocre players. Them being healthy doesn’t suddenly transform this defense into anything good. You’re in denial my friend.

We don’t have to wait until weeks 8,9 and 10. We are finding out about the defense right now. We can’t stop the run. We can’t pressure the QB. We don’t force turnovers. We can’t get stops on 3rd down. This is our defense.

The defense had trouble even with Milano on the field

Murphy and HH have little to no trade value. Not sure what you could possibly expect in return but it certainly wouldn’t be anyone good.

Allen was bad today from the very beginning. Aikman probably doesn’t care if he hurts the feelings of sensitive Bills fans by pointing out the obvious

I can’t believe they criticized Allen for playing poorly in a game where he played poorly.

The last 2 weeks have left a bad taste in my mouth. I liked it much better when Allen was throwing for 300+ yards and completing 70% of his passes

It didn’t matter what McD did on defense, we were always going to be picked apart by the Chiefs offense. We simply don’t have the personnel up front to do much of anything. They can’t stop the run or get pressure. Basically, we were ***** the minute we had the Chiefs on our schedule.

Im not advocating that we fire him, far from it actually. What I’m saying is that the argument of a certain coach or player is better than what we’ve had during our playoff drought only gets you so far. People made that argument for Tyrod and while it was true it ultimately didn’t amount to much. McD has gotten wins against bad and mediocre teams but ultimately struggled and looked outmatched against the better teams in the league. The expectations this year are obviously much higher than when he first got here and the way his defense has played thus far has certainly left him open to criticism. It’s his team and his vision and if he signs mediocre players from Carolina then the criticism is certainly warranted.

Making the playoffs is great when we haven’t done it in 17 years but the expectations of this team have changed. Nowhere close to saying he should be fired but he obviously needs to get things fixed because this is his team and he’s ultimately responsible.

I’m beginning to worry about Ed Oliver. He’s had little to no impact on the field. He’s supposed to be a penetrator getting pressure and I rarely see him making plays in the backfield.

Our DL also sucks and I don’t think we have the personnel to fix it regardless of who the DC is.
