We likely aren't going to be contenders, in terms of making the playoffs. But the lack of press that CJ Spiller gets, one of the most electrifying backs in the NFL, as well as Jackson, who could start on most teams, is bizarre. I also have to think this defense has to be better Week 1, even with a new scheme. Also, I believe the Ravens have unloaded much of their talent in the offseason. I expect the Bills to come into their own by the fourth week. Should be a close game.

The one thing we got going is that Billichick hasn't seen our new team, and we've seen his. On the negative side, we have a new team. We might surprise them in the first half. But, as always, the Hooded One adapts. We will not likely have the experience to follow suit. My humble advice: Keep expectations low, and you will likely enjoy September more.

Kevin Kolb was unfortunate to work behind two horrible offensive lines. I'm reserving judgment until I see him behind a decent one. From what I've seen, Kolb has a deep game, and will not be a checkdown type guy.
