  1. Happy pill time.
  2. The Pats. Irrelevant. New coaching staff, new QB, new schemes. What's the Bills record against the Pats in the 90s? Logic, man, logic. Fred got over 100 (5.5 yards per carry to boot), their RB got over 100. Wallow in this silliness if you want.
  3. The Patriots were also without Wes Welker, Ty Law, Andre Trippett and Tedy Bruschi. Good grief, people. Logic.
  4. The Pats got zero sacks, and very few hurries. Brady was under near constant pressure. Did you even watch the same game? Seriously. This defense is light years ahead of last year's in terms of penetration.
  5. The Pats' receivers dropped MANY balls. SJ is an asset. There are many reasons why the Bills lost. If you want to throw spears at him, so be it.
  6. Last of three "official" sentiment polls until midseason. The other polls can be found here and here. Mods: If we could lock these threads Sunday Sept. 15 at Noon (one week from now), that would be great. This one is on your overall sentiment for the 2013 season. We'll address this again midseason. Cheerio.
  7. Mods--Think it would be nice to have more questions here. We can only ask three.
  8. For the other poll, go to http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/161239-bills-2013-official-sentiment-poll-draftees/
  9. For those unsure what this is, check out this thread. And here is the first sentiment poll. This one is on our first three draftees. Off we go... *Mods--is it possible to change this so we can add two more questions? We're limited to only three, and I wanted an overall sentiment of the entire draft on here as well as one on Goodwin.
  10. First off, my apologies for not doing this right after the draft like I said I would. What is an "official sentiment" poll? Many of us kind of agreed that a centralized thread on our feelings on big issues was a good idea. To recap, I think it will be fun, and informative, to compare reality with our past opinions on just a few threads, as opposed to having to search through a gazillion. We should only have a limited number yearly -- with the same tags (2013 Bills sentiment, 2014 Bills sentiment, etc). That way, they will be easier to find and they will become a better metric for measuring feelings and analyzing fandom. The first one is on the coaches and management. I'll put up another on our draftees. In the near future, I'll put up another on the overall state of the Bills. Will likely have another set mid-season and at the end then after the draft. That's about five or six per season. If you think this is lame, no need to participate. I just think it's a cool idea to have a central place to examine these kinds of things. We will have to close this thread soon, so don't hesitate on voting. On the third question, you should have two answers. Off we go...
  11. I wonder what the Wiccan community has to say about the Wizards.
  12. Don't know -- he appears to be a No. 4 WR, so probably not much -- but I'm starting SJ this week. On another note, the guy right before me in Rd. 1 picked CJ--at No. 4 no less--thought he would be mine at 5 no problem. $#%*! Not quite used to having Bills players go that high.
  13. In fairness, it is a relevant stat for Twitter. Only so much context in 140 characters... But yeah, what a penile response.
  14. Hopefully, it can help them find the endzone.
  15. White font is not visible. I do think teal is pretty safe. I'm really hoping someone here will come out and say it's offensive. Because despite all this outrage in these stories, I've yet to see a comment from anyone actually outraged, even in this sick PC culture we live under.
  16. Dunkin' Donuts is "under fire" -- the term the media use when they want to create a controversy out of thin air because one person they called thinks it's "racist" -- for depicting a face in black to advertise a new donut abroad. Is there really anyone here who is offended by this? If so, look deep within yourself. Can you really say you don't have deep hypersensitive issues about race yourself? And if this black face -- which IMO is stunning and actually makes me want to eat one of these donuts, which is the point of advertising -- is offensive, then what about Ronald McDonald? Or the Pillsbury Doughboy? http://www.takepart.com/article/2013/08/31/dunkin-donuts-blackface-ad?cmpid=foodinc-fb
  17. NE 46 Us 17 Sorry, this is gonna be a slaughter.
  18. Didn't anoint anyone anything. Hence the word "potential" on both. My expectations are a blowout. We have POTENTIAL strengths. Hence my take.
  19. We've gotten them before...only to blow it in the second half. Billichick has always studied his prey and adapted. Gailey was pretty brilliant at times devising innovative schemes, but consistently failed to adapt. If we play good football, our ability to adapt will be key in winning this game. If we don't play good football, they could outscore us by 40-someodd points.
  20. My take: We have glaring holes in our secondary, a potentially top 5 d line and a linebacker core highlighted by a potential superstar in the making, Kiko Alonso. I think the plan of attack will/should be a relentless blitzing attack on Brady, and conservative prevent style in the secondary. Let them beat us with short plays, which they're willing to do, but they won't be scoring 20 points in 2 minutes like they've had in the past. This, coupled with a mega fast offense could see the Bills pulling in close toward the 4th quarter. ...Or it could be an absolute slaughterfest with a rookie QB, coach, OC and weak corners.
  21. Wrong. The accepted term is "vertically challenged person." Get with the program.
  22. Probably PS given stats.
  23. Cornerback from the Vikes. Don't know anything about him but thought I'd share. Brandon Burton ‏@BrandonBurton366m To the buffalo bills organization lets get this work in and win the championship. #Billsnation!!!!!
  24. Well, that ends this thread. Are there any legit veteran qbs available? I fear Kolb is done.
