  1. In addition to this offense actually being fun to watch for the first time all year -- driving the ball helps -- I love these announcers. Knowledgable and lively.
  2. Hey, this game is kinda fun to watch!
  3. CJ ran wild. Hackett opened up the book. Sunday, The Ralph shook. Sacks and hits galore. Flacco picked off all day long. Harbaugh: "Want went wrong?"
  4. What's the word, J. Byrd? Some say you're just being smart. Wish you had some heart. Mc. K, we need you. Byrd is counting his money. Rogers ain't funny.
  5. It's time to give this Tuel kid a shot. It's been like three weeks. Enough is enough. ----
  6. You are obviously morally, intellectually and spiritually superior to us Neanderthals who have stereotyped views of what women and men tend to be like. We will strive to be more like you and to take our soon-to-be-attained superiorities super seriously.
  7. In this business, if you have no heart, you likely won't be in business for long.
  8. The Byrd situation appears to be more of a desire issue than toughness. This injury he has on his heel is supposedly quite painful and would likely limit his play. Having said that, there are other players playing with far worse injuries, and if he were fighting for a spot on this team, he'd likely be playing his heart out. He appears to have lost his heart.
  9. No one is denigrating women. We all have girlfriends, wives, moms, sisters and daughters --whom we love--on this board. Football players are supposed to be masculine--tough. Women, feminine--caring. Women tend to do more feminine things. Men tend to do more masculine things. Yes, women may be tough. But they're not expected to be. Men--football players in particular--are. The poster's line was a joke already--maybe not a particularly funny one to some--but not to be taken seriously. Let's limit the lecturing, please. There's enough political correctness censoring us and intruding on us in this world. Would wish it wasn't here on this board.
  10. Byrd won't play until he's "100 percent" -- his words -- and right now his footsies hurt.
  11. The guy can literally get away with murder, but gets caught redhanded stealing cookies. Maybe they were really his all along, and he was just stealing them back?
  12. I think the Bills will play a much better game that against the Jets, but the talent/experience/physicality are no match. Ravens 24 Bills 13
  13. What you say is correct. I would also say the uptempo offense is not why this offense wreaked all day Sunday and most of the previous Sunday. The playcalling itself, as far as I see it, is what wreaks. Couple THAT with a rookie QB AND a line with a big hole at guard and you have problems. I am holding out hope the playcalling gets better (we know EJ will improve) and that the uptempo actually minimizes some weaknesses, as Gailey's offense did.
  14. I think you will be corrected sooner rather than later. At the least, to call the uptempo offense strategy -- which the Pats and Saints run -- an "idiotic concept" is rather silly. If I am wrong by Week 8, I'll admit it.
  15. I don't think it needs to be, or should be, an either or. Our offense stinks. It's not because of the uptempo. At least I think it's not. But if given the option between the no-huddle conservative unimaginative crap we currently have displayed and a smart, exciting offense with huddling, I obviously choose the latter. I would love to see some of Gailey's plays/schemes considered along with the uptempo. Diversity is what I'm looking for. What he did within Fitz' 15 yard vertical window by exploiting mismatches, maximizing horizontal space, causing confusion, and quick throws was outstanding. That, along with some read option, or whatever is the best scheme for the opponent at the time, would be what this fan would want to see -- not 100 percent this or 100 percent that. That being said, I think there are times we run a fast paced the entire game, as long as we can execute, because it does wear teams down and improve the chances for defensive miscues.
  16. The offensive playcalling must get smarter, and more imaginative, if we we are to beat any top 10 defense. Couple our woefully inadequate offensive scheme without Gilmore, Byrd (sore footsie) and potentially McK, and this is going to be a slaughter I fear.
  17. I think many of our concerns are coming to fruition: Hacket does appear over his head. I hope the plays are simple so the rookie QB can make fewer mistakes, and not due to inexperience at OC. Either way, that game, especially our offensive playcalling and inability to hit the fly route, was unwatchable.
  18. Pats, unfortunately, win big. So do Dolphins. Bills win a slog fest, 17-13. Alonso & McK with a pick. Gino becomes the second Jets QB with a butt fumble. Dareus picks it up and rumbles and stumbles it back 40 yards for six. Geno cries during his press conference. Bank on it.
  19. Ralph IS cheap! Won't even hire college graduates.
  20. The Jets have us beat. Wood's second one is spot-on. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=78832
  21. No Wanny. Blue pants. 90s throwback songs. AND now this... http://www.forbes.com/pictures/egel45fgfm/kellys-heroes/ Bill have to win now.
  22. I was wondering about this. Right now, the Bills are going 3 and out too much. When we develop rhythm, which has been sorely lacking, and the Eagles have, we'll get our props.
  23. Kinda what I implied. Well, not kinda. It is what I implied.
  24. He certainly has more charisma than Dicky J. Yikes.
