  1. Good grief. Kolb is injured again?
  2. Your dad was wise. That game taught me it's never over. Sorry for your loss.
  3. It should be on NFL Network.
  4. I say we keep Kaufman, if nothing for the distinction of having the only Jewish WR in the NFL other than Jeremy Bloom.
  5. If football is a game of chess, Wannstache played Chutes and Ladders.
  6. He will be coaching Lindell in Tampa Bay.
  7. Sharp unis, all around. So glad we got rid of the toilet seats.
  8. Further, We need to see Tuel play against starters before even considering naming him the starter for Week 1. It's just talk. Even if Kolb sucks it up next week, he will still be the starter if Manuel is still injured. There is a big difference between 3rd stringers, a quarter of whom will be cut, and starters.
  9. Just to play Devil's advocate, I think Kolb needs another game to determine who is No. 1 and who is No. 2. He's only played one game. And he's had SOME success, including taking the Cards to 4-0. And he was injured. Also, frankly, Kolb has gotten the **** kicked out of him from playing behind HORRIBLE lines in Philly and Arizona. The happy feet might be mental from that, although obviously he will have to correct it ASAP. Manuel does not have that baggage. Just a note. I also think Ej will be starting, deservingly, the first week he is healthy, which I hope is Week 1.
  10. The OFFICE should respect us. Seriously. Basic concept. THEY work for us. THEY are elected by us. It is not wrong, not in the least.
  11. Inside sources tell me: It's on like a MoFo.
  12. ...And no Dave Wannstedt either. Wait.
  13. I'll be sold on EJ if I see him connect on ONE deep pass. But yeah, he just seems to have IT. Kolb is a capable backup. But EJ, there's just something about him I haven't felt since Flutie. I think we're watching the beginning of something special here, fellas, both on D and O.
  14. Don't f'ing care who wins a preseason game. The D looked aggressive, dominant and impressive the first three quarters, AP or not.
  15. Guys, if we can get the deep ball rolling, and find a little depth on D, we have ourselves a legitimate team this season. Seriously. Very impressive.
  16. The cops need to pay for their Zamboni machines some way. http://rare.us/story/14-absurd-things-police-can-buy-under-asset-forfeiture/
  17. Despite having a black president as the leader of the free world, race relations in this country has gotten WORSE. When you got groups calling a rodeo clown wearing a mask a hate crime, we have issues.
  18. Pretty cool. Recorded what he was REALLY looking at at 2:26.
  19. I know you were joking, but there is also some potential truth there if you really think about it.
  20. With Spiller coming into his own, a capable game manager behind center, a solid O line, and new additions on the D line and corner, I thought we were going to push to make the playoffs. What we got was crap, especially on D. This year, honestly, with a potentially explosive offense and and aggressive D, I won't be surprised if we finally make that push. With green talent from HC to QB, I also won't be surprised if we get only 3 or 4 wins. Probably not alone in my ambivalence.
  21. He also had a cannon arm and was a good quarterback who broke records. (P. Manning is Herman Munster too) Last guy btw that brought us a scent of the playoffs.
  22. The best guy will be chosen. FWIW, Tuel played against third / fourth stringers (like himself) and soon-to-be truck drivers and benefitted from a defense worn down by an offense that played 15 more plays on average than any other NFL team. We're in a good situation. Both rookies look above average, and our veteran we already know is serviceable. I think he actually might be slightly better than Fitz who we know will be a solid backup. I have a good feeling about both of these rookies. They just seem to have IT, EJ especially. Can't describe it. It's there though.
