  1. Honestly, I haven't moved on from EJ. There's nothing to move on from. He hasn't shown anything, positive or negative, other than his penchant for injuring himself on mundane plays. All he has is potential. And that is why the sane thing is to bring in a stud -- as a backup or as a competitor. If "all in" means cashing all your chips on one square, I'm all out -- that's a bad strategy in any game.
  2. Sink or swim with this admin. Let's hope we swim. It's impossible to argue the logic of drafting insurance to the people who think it means automatically means replacing EJ. Mindboggling that we don't have a backup to a guy whose shown nothing thus far.
  3. Seriously -- it's up in the air if we have a legit starter. Lewis seems like a third stringer. Jeff Tuel is a long ways away. And I don't even know who the fourth guy is. Kolb? Is he even still with us? I think you could find one of these to drop for an Aaron Murray like talent.
  4. Good point.
  5. Disappointed, but not surprised. This decision to go all cards in has a 50 percent chance of screwing us. You have your choice between a potential elite QB to at least serve as a backup, and potentially as competition, and we go for depth. Seems screwy.
  6. Yes, Murray has potential. Grab him by all means.
  7. Wait, am I behind you guys? The Bills here in Atlanta have not picked yet.
  8. A fan from Buffalo gets the call -- too bad he didn't get to call a Bills draftee.
  9. Hate this too. Solid No. 2 and a fun personality. One of the most hard route runners I've ever seen. Never stops, even when he's not the intended receiver. Obviously was a fifth wheel with Watkins and Williams on board now.
  10. The step dad is like there's a lot of shootings, drug dealings, violence etc. But he seems most shocked at the prostitution. In all seriousness, he's definitely a playmaker and seems like a great kid.
  11. Joel Bitonio seems like a good, and logical, pick.
  12. Don't get too excited. It's Day 1 of the draft. We got the best playmaker in the draft according to the same experts, and there are many more rounds to go, and a season to finish.
  13. Impressive. To be fair, teams throw out all sorts of stuff to create false rumors AND to test the waters for potential trades. Impressive nonetheless.
  14. A lot of what ifs here. If Watkins is the player they wanted, and think will make this offense legit, then it'll be worth it. Very risky, yes. But it's silly to say "Watkins would've been available at 9."
  15. My take: This is either a brilliant game changer for this perennial basement-dwelling team, a huge gamble that doesn't pay off, or something in-between.
  16. Tremendous pressure on this kid to dominate from Day 1 -- Dez Bryant, or Calvin Johnson like. Holding off judgment. This team hasn't done anything aggressive in 14 years, and has been a non factor for 13 of those years.
  17. Huge gamble. Hope it pays off. It'll certainly be exciting.
  18. Before this thread gets banished to PPP, I'd like to say the word racism continues its downward spiral of having any significant meaning.
  19. Goodell -- stop hugging every draftee. It's creepy. Goodell -- stop doing those weird handshakes! It's just weird. What the hell did Ray Lewis just say? Berman just lost his train of thought. Again. Kiper -- stop naysaying, you're just pissed you didn't guess it. And dude, wtf is up with the hair? You look like Eddie Munster. They just talked about Johnny Manziel through the Bills' first round draft process! We NEVER get any respect!! Who the Hell is THIS guy? Never heard of him. Another CB?!? Seriously????? Ooh, a Ralph Wilson tribute! Cut short by someone drafting Manziel. Bastards. Bills are up -- second pick! .... commercial. Who the hell is that guy?
  20. Fact: The Pot damages one's understanding of verbs vs. nouns. Who wouldn't want to party with that guy? I thought this stuff was called bath salts. Seriously -- is there a difference?
  21. 99 percent confident it does not, which is one of the big draws. Course, I'm not a doctor. Only play one on TBD.
  22. Ever forget to take out the trash on trash day? Also illegal in one way or another in just about every state in the South, Kansas, Utah, Missouri and Michigan.
  23. On a side note, synthetic pot is seriously dangerous. Real pot isn't. Regardless of whether he was using it, it's a sad commentary on our legal/political system. Weed should be completely legal in every state. If the NFL wants to test for it, fine, but no ethical or logical reason why someone should be jailed for a plant. Hope he was just with the wrong crowd.
