I've been a Bills fan since the 1979 season. That's 43 years! In that time period, the Bills have had some of the highest highs but have suffered some of the most excruciating, heart breaking losses. Wide right (or the other 3 SBS), Harmon's drop in Cleveland in 88, the Home run throwback in 99 and the "brand new" 13 seconds debacle. All of these make you 2nd guess any premature overconfidence in this team. A SB win will erase a lot of these ghosts but until then fans of my age will be a bit gun shy about being all in.

Former bill Sam Gash battle with cancer

Sad story. Amazing he is still alive to tell it. Its crazy that players of previous eras did not until recently have access to better medical care and benefits. -
MNF: Chicago Bears at NE Patriots - with Manningcast!

Fields had 4 fumbles and 1 INT. Luckily none of the fumbles changed possession. His running ability was nice but he is frustrating to watch. -

Its always nice to see frauds exposed and the Pats were ripe for that. Zappe was crap and so was the Pats D. Fields just needed to be ok in this game and he was. had Chicago had a more competent QB (who didnt throw passes 5 yards out of bounds) they would have run away with this game even faster. -
I chose the name during the drought years because I was a fan in better days of late 80s when the SB teams were being assembled. The drought years and the utter dreck we were forced to put up with (including the nadir of the Bills in Toronto) made me long for a team with great players and quality and a coach who knew what the hell he was doing!! Lately though, Ive been loving "living in the present"!

Uncle Charlie Pulls Up To His Nephewww Stefon Diggs Game!

Leapt over Reid??? I know Josh is awesome and all but leaping over an immense planetoid like Reid would require some Pegasus size wings! -
Yes but somehow golden boy Brady has avoided this for 20 years and become one of the best ever at them. Josh should do this every time on short yardage 3rd downs.

Lil' Dummy McKenzie.........offical team character builder
Livinginthepast replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope he watches that game and it burns him up inside. I think he is way better than that and he needs to use it as motivation. His head wasnt in the game at all. -
Rodgers is an exceptional HOF QB absolutely no doubt. I dont believe in karma but from all the various articles I have read about him, his treatment of his family and the recent covid fiasco, Rodgers seems to be a huge dbag. Perhaps his treatment of others has caught up with him and add it to the age factor of 38 and its an inevitable decline. I think a unicorn like Brady seems to have changed the paradigm from what quality we can expect in a late 30's player. What we are seeing with Rodgers is the normal drop off in skills and abilities that being in your late 30s sadly brings.

If my wife had penalty flags tonight she would have flagged me for objectionable conduct! Screaming loudly both positive and negatively. Several flags for swearing at the TV (numerous occasions), Swearing at the dog! Swearing in front of the kids, Swearing with joy at the INT! I pretty much deserved ejection from the house after that one!

Game balls to all the offense except McKenzie who was surprisingly terrible in this game. Singletary esp deserves a lot of praise. And Josh is the best player in the league without a doubt. The defense deserves praise for coming up big with the game on the line and Frazier adjusted well for everyone except Kelce. I just don't understand why its so hard to shut this guy down aside from cheating. The Chiefs FG at the end of the half was shades of January and was far too easy but better that than at the end. The Bills have taken years off my life since the 80s but at least when they did it tonight, they WON the game!

NFL Week #6 - Bills at the Chiefs - 1st half game thread
Livinginthepast replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sad but true. The bills are seeing ghosts so far.
