Tua clears Concussion Protocol in 30 minutes.....

They have an independent NFL doctor to evaluate, what did that doctor say? I understand that Miami doctors are bias but how in the hell can an independent doc ignore the wooziness and wobbly legs after he got up? The old announcers from yesteryear would have said he had got his "bell rung"! -
NFL Week #3 - Bills at the Dolphins - 2nd half game thread

Overall we looked pretty good on offense but we kept shooting ourselves in the foot. I would normally be just angry at this kind of loss but I am really more concerned now with out complete inability to close the deal in these close games. What the hell has happened in the past 2 years?? -

Does any part of you miss the losing?

The only thing I possibly enjoyed about losing all those years was the deranged drunken callers that sometimes used to call the WGR postgame show. They provided some mild entertainment in the postgame desolation. Other than that, Winning like this blows away everything! -
Bills should be able to score on the Fins D at will on Sunday. The rest is up to the D to rattle him enough that erratic Tua comes back. In addition, Tua is a chronic underthrower and Bills dbs need to be constantly ball hawking. I'm really looking forward to sticking a pin in the Fins and Tua's hype balloon.

I'm really stunned about how forgiving some people are on this thread. The evidence against him was massive, there are no other suspects, the DA completely failed to prosecute an easy case which should have never been lost and finally he has never felt bad or even pretended to at the death of his ex wife and mother of his children (Even if he didnt do it). The man is sociopathic narcissist and disgusting excuse of human being. I dont want him anywhere near this team now or ever again.

Tua had a great game and the last two TD throws were clutch, however one huge caveat on that. Are we talking about his huge day if that easy deflected pass is intercepted by the Ravens in the 2nd half? That would have killed the game right there and dropping that gift INT was for me the turning point in the entire game. The next play which was the TD bomb to Hill was also underthrown. If either of those Ravens Dbs makes the slightest effort to turn around, its an easy INT. So basically the defense just gave away 2 gift INTS and gets burned on a long bomb TD as punishment. After that, yes Tua was excellent but had the Ravens taken care of business in either of those plays the game is over.

LA Chargers @ KC Chiefs - TNF Game Thread
Livinginthepast replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
This game was greatly affected by 2 bad calls by the officials. The first call was a PI call on the Chargers defense in the first half on a play where they got an interception. What looked like PI was actually an arm hook initiated by the KC receiver. KC then go on to score a TD and get back in the game. The 2nd was even huger on another INT that the refs overturned on review. Looking at it several times the Chargers defender has the ball in his grasp as part of the ball hits the ground. Its not a trap and definitely an INT. What's even more ridiculous is the call on the field was an INT and there wasnt definitive evidence to overturn yet they did anyway. Nobody but KC gets calls like that. In the end though the Chargers literally gift wrapped this game for KC. The Pick 6 was a terrible decision by Hebert and his pathetic attempt to tackle didnt even slow down the KC player. Just embarrassing but how many of you thought, "Ive seen this movie before" with Jeff Tuel of the Bills doing it against KC in almost the identical position in 2013. -

Matt Araiza accused of rape, served with a lawsuit.

As excellent as this regime has been in the past few years there have been a few curious hickups in judgement here or there on player personnel but this situation takes the cake. How on earth did a team that prizes "character" traits and intangibles not get wind of serious allegations of sexual assault that were apparently in plain sight. Did they attempt any investigation? And once they found out why did they cut their incumbent punter and stick with the controversial choice. What were the Bills thinking? -
If you look at the early history of the SB it had almost a novelty feel to it. Like the game was a made for tv joke. As the 70s wore on, the games seemed to get better. The first one I remember watching was the juggernaut Steelers defeating the Rams. In most of the games since, the hype never lives up to the reality. And in many ways all the other crap overshadows or ruins the game itself. The last few years the games have been pretty mediocre at best. Maybe the last good one was the Pats Philly. I thought throughout that game Sunday that the players on both sides seemed to be far too laid back and mellow. Either they were tired or tranquilized. I really thought that the urgency would kick in by the 4th quarter, but even on the last drive the players seemed to be sleepwalking. Cinci and their coaches seemed to think they had 5 downs on that last series with their playcalls and non challant attitude. Its like they smoked a fat one before the last drive started.

Great TD Vs the Chiefs in our win in Arrowhead but then he fell off the quality cliff by midseason. He was a non factor by the end.
