  1. 1. First INT was a rookie like mistake. Josh simply misses the defender and locks in on his receiver. bad throw and he knew it. 2. 2nd INt was a miscommunication. Whose fault ? not sure 3. If Davis comes back to the ball on that last pass he gets run over and gets the PI call. Davis needs to be smarter there and sell that interference. He also should have caught it regardless. He is a pro receiver at the highest level. That catch needs to be made. As the play went it could have been called PI but it would have been a soft call. The defender did not turn around and there was contact. 4. No idea if it was legit holding on Dawkins. CBS garbage coverage showed no replay on what was the biggest call of the game. If it was, I hope it was egregious and the holding was the only reason that the play was positive for the Bills (so therefore needed to be called). But in the NFL so many of these officials want to be the star with their ticky tack BS calls. Im still pissed at CBS though for no replay. As if they assume that the refs have it right every time. I wish these refs would just let them play unless its a blatant hold. 5. I also thought the 2nd half of GB would be a wake up call for the Bills. Dorsey needs to diversify the playbook in situations where things are not working and stop putting it all on Josh to win games with hero ball. Josh is capable of doing that even if he is having a bad game but why force it? run the damn ball and get some screens and short passes going.
  2. Great point on WGR this morning. We have serious issues on run defense but they only come out if our offense sputters. If the Offense does what they need to do and gets TDs instead of FGs and terrible INTs then teams dont have the luxury of running and eating up clock. The GB game was bizarre because the Packers ran on us despite the fact they were down by 3 scores. Made no sense. Yesterday the Jets had the luxury after we gifted them the turnover/sacks and drops of taking the ball out of Wilson's hands and putting it on their running backs to win the game. So whats the point here? adjust on offense to help the defense. Obviously take advantage of every opportunity you are given but also run the ball effectively ourselves to give our defense time to rest. Yesterday they were absolutely gassed by the last drive.
  3. I hate both the Titans and KC but I will give Vrabel some credit for a excellent defensive game plan (including the 2011 Boston Bruins hit/cheat/play dirty on every defensive play strategy vs the KC receivers). I thought that was pretty effective and for good portions of the game disrupted Mahomes. The Titans D was also getting some great pressure on Mahomes all game. Basically the D did enough for the Titans to win. Where it all fell apart was on offense. As soon as they went away from the ground and pound and put it on Willis to get the job done it all fell apart. This was an extremely stupid strategy and the Titans drive in OT was the final disaster. What a waste of a great defensive effort! The Chiefs for their part still look really vulnerable and its only a matter of time for Mahomes to get injured on on one of those dipsy doodle runs he does. I used to appreciate the inventiveness of Mahomes on those scrambles, now I just find it annoying how useless defenders are in even laying a finger on him.
  4. I swear Allen looked like he got dinged in the first quarter. Near the goaline? He got up and looked dazed to me but showed no ill effects (No Tua weak legs). I wondered after that if that was just my imagination because he didnt look his normal self for the rest of the game.
  5. Id still like to know how the idiots at CBS sports dont show a replay of the Dawkins holding call. Regardless of whether Diggs caught the ball, the call was a huge and the producer in the truck didnt call for a replay ?? Ive seen High school football broadcasts that are better than what we saw from CBS today. Suddenly I had a flashback to the In living Color Men on Film guys saying "when you watch you C ...... BS...".
  6. I thought it was an INT but I also thought challenging it was pointless as the evidence to overturn the call was not clear. Edmunds needed to fight for the ball better like a basketball player trying to get the loose ball.
  7. This exactly! Josh's INTs were absolutely killer for the momentum swings they gave the Jets. How bad would the Jets have felt if that initial botched KO would have resulted in an immediate TD. Instead that horrible Josh INT takes them off the hook. Same with that terrible fumble strip sack in the 3rd Q on Wilson. The Bills make a huge stop and turnover after a long exhausting drive and take a seat only for a horrible Josh pass to give them an INT and no rest. That was probably the play of the game and it was an unforced error. If the Bills had gone up early and scored consecutively the whole game is different. The Jets would have panicked and made errors.
  8. Josh was terrible most of the day but that 4th and 21 pass at the end hit Gabe Davis in the numbers and he flat out dropped it.
  9. Bills played like they had jet lag. Allen was awful today. Defense was so thin and injury riddled I didnt expect much, but they did enough to win this game. Dorsey called a pretty mediocre game and not adjusting to the constant pressure cost them the game. The only silver lining is that the entire group should be embarrassed by that effort and hopefully it will motivate them going forward.
  10. I love the phantom holding call and no replay! Thanks CBS!!!
  11. I wonder if Allen had his bell rung in the first quarter. He is playing like he has a migraine or drunk.
  12. This is absolutely painful to watch. Bills defense must be exhausted . Offense playing like crap.
  13. Sorry if this has been answered but is Hynes playing?
  14. After seeing this photo it jogged my memory of that SB. Everybody thought the Redskins would obliterate the Raiders and it turned out the opposite. So many game changing plays like the Squirek INT before the half. This one handed snag by Guy on what could be one of the highest bad snaps in NFL history might have been a huge play for Washington except for Guy's athletic play. And he ended up punting it away no problem! If that goes over his head its a possible TD and everything changes in that game!
  15. I got the impression that the Bills were just fine with the Packers wasting time and running the ball. They were up by 2 scores. It was like Ali's rope a dope vs Foreman. The GB strategy to grind out clock while taking forever to score was absolutely bizarre to me. I think their coach had prematurely given up at halftime. In addition when you saw what Rodgers could do against that young Bills secondary (those two deep TDs) the decision becomes even weirder. I think that the Packers did exploit the Bills weakness and their backs did well getting that yardage but it would have made way more sense (and have been much more tedious to watch, if the Packers had have been leading the game).
  16. This is so tedious ! End this already!
  17. Bills need to cut out this trash talk and stupidity
  18. Tom looked really out of sorts last night. Like a superman on kryptonite! I guess we know why after today's news.
