  1. The Bills seemed to be unaware until the 3rd quarter last night that Mahomes was elusive and capable of scrambling for huge yardage. And I'm just being partially sarcastic.
  2. This a really simple and well done breakdown of what we should have done. The question is that they practice this stuff all throughout the season so where was this strategy last night? Also they called a timeout right before the first and the 2nd play . You thought while watching this that this is a good sign, they must be really getting the D ready for the play call. Then inexplicably run a vanilla prevent D which accomplishes nothing of what is listed above. Its one thing to say that the Players didnt execute a plan properly (pass rush was pathetic) but when you actually examine what they did, they didnt have much of a strategy at all. Im not sure who will get the blame McD or Frazier but I have think that McD signed off on or called that terrible prevent D himself. Either way the buck stops with him and he is responsible for this and the non squib kickoff and really needs to at least fess up to what happened!
  3. The Bills D was gassed and they gave up. They knew that they had already blown the game and they had nothing left. They were praying for the coin toss to go our way and it didnt. I have no idea if Frazier or McD got into their faces during the break before OT started and tried to motivate them but they needed something and miracles just dont happen to the Bills (only against them!).
  4. I wonder if you asked Mahomes if he was surprised at the Bills defensive formations with 13 seconds left if he would be honest. The Bills literally made it as easy as possible for him to achieve the near impossible with these blunders and get down the field. Its like a chess master playing a game vs a 8 year old. His only tough task was to not overthrow them and because they were so wide open and he had so much time with the none existent pass rush, he could take some velocity off the ball. It never ceases to amaze me how many morons are in the coaching ranks of the NFL or people who just freeze when in a high pressure situation. Just inexplicable!
  5. No sacks on Mahomes was the ONE glaring factor of our D besides the terrible pass defense. It wasn't like they didnt get to Mahomes either, but every time they did they whiffed in the most utterly spastic fashion. Josh was sacked a couple of times and hit repeatedly by their pass rush after throws, yet Mahomes only got smacked on his runs. Every time you hit a QB on a sack or after he throws its degrades him slightly. But Mahomes was barely caressed last night in the pocket. Why the hell didnt Frazier at least call on all out blitz on the last drive when the touchdown seemed inevitable or on any of the Chiefs late 4th quarter drives. Mahomes had all day to throw and his footwork in the pocket to buy time is probably the best in the NFL. Instead both McD and Frazier looked like deer in the headlights.
  6. Good question . This coaching staff is just too cautious and conservative and instead of being balls out because they had everything to lose they kept being cautious on the verge of losing.
  7. Oh he will get hired because most owners and GMs in this league are just that stupid!
  8. It was just like the Pats getting the ball vs the Falcons in the SB OT. You knew that the Falcons D had nothing left and their coach was too stupid to do anything to stop them. Hell at that point your defensive starters are so exhausted that you might as well sub in every back up for OT and give the kids a chance. We werent that different today and as soon as the coin toss was lost, the defense takes the field knowing that they just allowed the opposing team to drive down the field and get a FG with 13 secs left (one of the most improbable drives in NFL History). Basically they let everybody else down and lost this game but instead of digging deep and manning up for the OT drive they just laid down butts up. Absolutely shameful performance when it mattered the most before OT and during. I hate to say it but Jerry Sullivan was right a few weeks ago when he called them out. They were atrocious tonight and they and their coach should be apologizing !
  9. They are either too honest or too dumb to have thought out that strategy but yes it would have worked!
  10. All I could think of after watching KC win is why cant we have nice things? One championship ? I know you have to make your own karma but how long does it take to get a lucky break with this team? 1 piece of luck tonight? Like maybe one of the Bills DBs or lineman picking up a fumble or getting a sack? maybe turning around and intercepting it on that last drive? None of my other teams in any sport has teased me like the Bills just to allow the dagger to the heart, over and over. My apologies for the sucky melancholy but I hate this constant post mortem every year.
  11. This is what I hate or maybe love about the NFL or football in general. One loss and thats it. No tomorrow, no 2nd chances. I cant think of any other sports (maybe WC soccer) or March madness where you lose and that's it. Any other sport, there are always mulligans or games to regroup
  12. Exactly. How do you not jam them or smack them or even hold them. The last thing you do is let them just float around and get open without any pressure. I know that thinking in the moment in a high pressure situation is difficult but how did they not practice that scenario OVER AND OVER again?? Like what are we going to do if the Chiefs get the ball back and we need to waste time and disrupt them? Are the Bills seriously that stupid that they would not have practiced what D to do in that scenario??
  13. Bills should have been holding with 13 seconds left to kill clock for minimum penalty!
  14. It was very similar to the Pats victory over KC in 2018 and the Pats OT victory over the Falcons in the SB. In both cases and tonight, the defense had nothing left and was gassed so the coin toss wins the game. You would think the NFL would change the OT rules but they are more conservative about rule changes than the Catholic church.
  15. Im totally numb after my heart rate was pounding for 3.5 hrs. Im just sitting here staring at ceiling. if I was kid I would be crying, as an 53 year old adult I feel like puking but now its like somebody died. No tomorrow ! Goddamn this team just brings out the best in life sometimes.
  16. I feel just like I did after Home run throwback. We got cheated out of an easy victory by complete stupidity of coaching.
  17. Shouldnt the Special teams coach be in McDs face about a squib kick?? WTF how do you make that mistake??
  18. How about holding those recievers on the last drive. Sure they get a first down but the clock is run down and they only get 5 yards. Instead we play two hand touch!
  19. I said to my son at the start of OT they should onside kick it here because they are going to lose with this defense.
  20. Wide right was worse
  21. With the game on the line 13 secs left, Frazier sticks with his useless prevent defense , one of the stupidest coaching moves in the history of NFL.
  22. Now we kick and we lose because of the idiot fraziers prevent defense
  23. Lesley Frazier and his idiot defense !!!!
  24. I feel like puking the stress is in overload.
