  1. Full on pick blatantly done before the pass is caught. Right in front of at least 3 officials. How on earth do they all miss that? It was completely intentional and just because the Eagle player got hurt (or maybe he was selling it to make it seem like an inadvertent collision) it doesn't matter. The officiating this year has been the worst of any type of football I have watched ever. Consistent crap every week. Every week a gaffe or a blown call. The refs need a serious overhaul!!
  2. Shady should have done his talking on the field. He wasn't bad today but just average. The kissing the eagle gesture was a huge slap in the face to Bills fans and the organization and his teammates. I think he should be apologizing to everyone!
  3. I just get the impression that the Panthers are not legit. I have a funny feeling they will blow one of these games down the stretch or choke under playoff pressure. Seattle knows how to win in the playoffs!
  4. Why is it the Giants implode in 2 games late but of course when they play great against us and we implode? Today the Gmen played stupid vs the Jets. As for the KC game, Oakland wasnt that bad and hung around but Derek Carr made some horrendous decisions with the ball that result in a ton of KC pts. The Chiefs have the biggest horseshoe up their butts I have ever seen. Yes they are better than us but we basically gifted them 3 wins in three years. Today the Raiders did as well. As for the Steelers, it really hasnt been close. The Colts are crap.
  5. I dont have a problem with it either. In any event it could have been illegal hands to the face as the Lions defender kinda slaps the facemask. Possibly Horse collar?
  6. The key difference between Rex and Marrone for me is that Marrone could never attract people to come and play here. Rex for all his faults can attract people who want to play for him much more so than Marrone.
  7. Quite simply they are not good enough to do what it takes when it matters to win. They dont have the experience to know what to do in those cases. In fact they have a bad habit of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. In addition the refs are crap for everybody, The Bills once again are just not good enough to overcome a bad officiating decision. When the Bills get jobbed by the refs usual incompetence they are usually not up by enough points or are losing. So when it occurs they fall apart. If the Bills scored on their opportunities instead of squandering them they would have a cushion of points to overcome the inevitable incompetence of the refs!
  8. The stats dont lie. The Bills D has gone way backwards and Rex is certainly responsible. Its very similar to the hatchet job that Greg Williams did when he came in here. He took over Wade's vaunted D and employed a new scheme which immediately resulted in disaster. They should have kept Schwartz as a D coach and hired a coach that would improve on last year's Offense. Once they hired Rex, there was never a chance that he would have retained Schwartz or even that Schwartz would have stayed. The big problem is that Rex's D schemes don't work with our current personal. In fact based on all the press reports the stars on our D are not buying in at all and are looking like they might revolt. Rex is starting to look like a really bad hire.
  9. They review most plays automatically in College football already and the games are normal length.
  10. This is exactly what should happen. All the plays should be reviewed real time by a guy in the booth who is part of the referee's team. The refs in the past few years have screwed up over and over again. The standard of officiating is just not good enough. They need a keen set of eyes up in the booth on every play and not this nonsense of a coach needing to challenge ! The rules need to be clarified to all the refs and training should be improved. They also need some accountability when issues happen,
  11. The Pats lose so rarely but when they do I cherish the moment! No ref to save them on that run!
  12. Why is it so hard for Rex to understand that the refs in this league may be the worst in professional sports? Its been years of this incompetence and this year has been particularly bad. So if that is the case it makes having a spotter in the booth ultra important for watching replays so we can challenge. Not only that he needs his players to understand that if a call looked questionable they need to make a point of telling him clearly to challenge. He also should be getting players to take a knee or stay down feigning injury on plays like that to get some extra time for the spotter to review the replay. Either way Rex's explanation was his Gomer "he's a punt catcher" moment. At least Wade had the excuse of no headset (bad as it was). Who is Rex talking to if it isn't a spotter?
  13. Why arent we running hitch screens like the Pats do? why dont we do reverses? like ever? I would love to see Sammy on a reverse!
  14. Its not unusual to have Chaplain, esp in the NFL. so many of these players are major holy rollers. However whispering in Rex's ear like wormtongue in the Lotr? What does the shaman know about football or if the player caught the ball or anything? Totally embarassing!!
  15. Thigpen was decent and had a great TD on a PR last year. When Thigpen was in the CFL he a had a bunch of TDs on PRs but yet after all that the Bills jettison him? Why? Why is he not at least on the practice squad? Did he fumble as much as Leodis? Cant remember! So what gives here?
  16. Why did they get rid of Thigpen?
  17. That crew couldn't do anything right. They botched every situation. I am surprised that they didn't wear their uniforms inside out or put their underwear on over their pants. Totally unacceptable. The Bills and Pats should be complaining to the league office about these boneheads!
  18. I reviewed this play over and over on my DVR in slow mo. The ref that calls the holding was at the top of the screen. He calls the holding on Graham? even though he is obscured by Gronk. If you watch it Gronk doesn't seem to be held because he moves at regular speed on his route. In addition he throws the flag real early even though the "contact" (whatever it is) is within 5yds. It was a really chincy call. Graham doesn't impede Gronk at all. And they didn't show a clear replay of it at the time. Even though it was a huge play for the Bills D!
  19. One of the most incompetent attempts at officiating I have seen in 36 years of watching football. What followed though was even more bizarre, They screwed up and then tried to make it right by saying the whistle blew when the ball was caught. Total BS then the penalty on Rex for what exactly? Ridiculous amateur garbage!!!
  20. This is the problem. QBs today don't have either the confidence or intelligence to think on their feet. If the headset signals get fouled up they are helpless. Taylor should have just gone with his gut on that play. If he screwed up then own the mistake. Instead he looks to the sideline and time is wasted lip reading. Can you imagine Kelly, Montana, Bradshaw or Staubach doing that? They were leaders that thought on their feet. The OCs are not on the field. They don't even appear to be intelligent in their play choices. Its so stupid. The technology has made the QBs completely dependent.
  21. How do these guys get jobs as OCs over and over? You dont hand it off 5yds back to try and gain 1yd!! Bring in someone else to do a sneak if you are worried about Tyrod but for FFS do a sneak!!
  22. I watched the so called "holding" over and over again on that play. There wasnt any at all. Of course it was a huge play and MNF didnt show any replay. The refs were amateurish tonight. It was really embarrassing.
  23. Big game players rise to the occassion. Leodis is a big game choker. He has proved it way too many times.
  24. I was debating this with a friend. Is the Pats dubious victory last night going to be a wake up call for them not to get complacent or will it further galvanize their invincibility complex in their minds and leave them open to an upset? I hate them so much that I cannot sort out which might have been better for us. I still hate to see the Giants play a pretty solid game and the Pats still win with their usual BS luck and help from he refs! But will the game last night alter anything with the Pats about their prep for us? Can we exploit anything ? Coughlin seems to always have the Giants prepared for the Pats, can Rex study his gameplan?
