  1. He also said something about cutting a guy like DiMarco before week 1 with the understanding that we'd bring him back right after...there's a risk he might jump ship and go elsewhere. Funny how the system lets the team gamble on something like that.
  2. http://www.espn.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/28023/how-the-bills-can-tweak-their-roster-to-snag-a-2018-third-round-pick Interesting article (for Rodak). I could see Beane releasing three of our FA signings but maybe not four. Good possibility we get a third round comp pick.
  3. Another one I forgot about..."The Girl Next Door". "We're a !@#$ing tripod". High school movie and good sound track.
  4. RIP. Although I never listened to his music, I did listen to his videos posted here and on YouTube. I don't see the attraction but who am I to judge what you guys like? Still, I saw the video of him and his daughter singing. I feel for that young lady.
  5. Back to the Future? Ferris Buellers Day Off?
  6. Would you put "Dead Poets Society" in this category? I suppose it is high school based (private). Same with "Taps" which was one of my favorites as a kid...before anyone really knew who Timothy Hutton, Sean Penn, Tom Cruise were. Military high school.
  7. McDermott/Beane are a firm believer in building through the draft. I can see this stat improving over the course of the next few years. However, does the above article include lost players like Kiko (who we traded away), A. Williams (career ending injury), Gilmore (lost because we can't afford him)?
  8. That prosthetic leg is very realistic. Nice work Bills!!
  9. Ask any guy here from TX and I bet they'll say Varsity Blues is an accurate portrayal of high school football down south. That's what made it entertaining IMO...they are rabid down there. I'm a Denzel fan, so I'm partial to his work.
  10. Or Remember the Titans. But Varsity Blues had some comedy in it....small town football where every parent has an opinion on how to run the team. A microcosm of our favorite football team fanbase.
  11. This thread morphed from "Class" to "coaching". So I'll say Marrone was a coach, Levy was a teacher and McDormant is a leader of men. Seriously, McDormant may be our coach for 20 years (he has the "it factor" as Whaley called it).
  12. Oh ****, I forgot about "Varsity Blues"...anyone? Anyone?
  13. I seriously thought this was a thread (with a catchy euphemism) about how to pick up women.
  14. Love that movie. Never realized they had fraternities and sororities in high school back then. Imagine the outrage these days if a kid was paddled or girls were covered in mustard/ketchup? Great movie. Breakfast Club is my favorite for this genre. Mark Vader will appear soon with a list I'm sure.
  15. I think the Bills make many accommodations for our players....they set up an emergency dialysis shed on the sidelines for our o-lineman with one kidney...and Mario had a mini cooler to store his energy drinks.
  16. Ahhhh yes, I needed more salt in my wound...is it kosher pickling salt perhaps? That enhances the pain. Thanks Ty!!
  17. Sorry...Captain Lard Ass. (I forgot about the Captain's hat.)
  18. Good cop/ Bad cop might work if the player in question had a contract that took money out of his pocket if suspended....that's not the case here. There is nothing...absolutely nothing that will light a fire under his lard ass. If he gets suspended again, he still collects dough. Thanks "Whales"...great work.
  19. Might be the dumbest !@#$ing comment I ever read on this board...Yeah, Chris Kelsay only had 30 sacks, five fumble recoveries, two safeties, and four interceptions as a DE. Meanwhile Dareus was our team leader that allowed Ajayi to rush for 30,000 yards on two separate occassions. The skin color of players have nothing to do with this...give me a team of Kyle Williams and Lorenzo Alexanders and I'm happy.
  20. There will be another mass killing tomorrow...or the next day. When is a good time to bring attention to the hypocrisy of our liberal brethren?
  21. Buffalo Bills: The recycling center of the NFL.
