  1. That's a good one too.
  2. I like it...simple and to the point. Wait....are you giving me advice?
  3. We have a lot of intelligent people here on TBD. What are some of your favorite sayings and life principles that others here might appreciate? Give a quick summary of how this saying may impart wisdom to others. Here's one: "Never look a gift horse in the mouth." (Meaning: Back in the old days, a person buying a horse would look in the horse's mouth to check the strength of the horse's teeth. If someone "gives" you a horse, take it and don't look inside it's mouth. Say thank you and walk away with horse in tow. What they don't tell you, though, is what if the horse has mad cow disease or some rare, devastating, contagious condition...if you take the gift horse back to your farm and he infects the rest of your farm stock, you should have checked it's mouth. So check the mouth anyway.)
  4. I gotta say, I have many clients who are gay. The guys and gals are all hardworking and sharp people. Not combative at all....but if someone crosses them, they aren't afraid to tell you to "!@#$ off"! I'd say a Pride day would be a pretty safe place to be. And they have never made an overt pass at me or anyone I know of...they don't look to make waves. Just so you guys know.
  5. Classic! Nice job.
  6. I see this as a truth. In fact, all of the original owners deserve their spot in the Hall of Fame.
  7. So you're saying we don't run WR screens because Sammy says so? I find that hard to believe. I'm pretty sure we don't run screens to Sammy because they aren't effective (unlike his college days where he was defended by future podiatrists and Hyundai finance managers) *embellishment*
  8. Great point...plus...podiatrists.
  9. I have no idea what you're referring to.
  10. Great point Cliffy....Assuming she can swim as fast as the dolphin pod.
  11. I embellished his size by three inches...everyone does it.
  12. Spiller had a knack for finding the space between the ass cheeks of the center and right guard.
  13. That's an exaggeration...but he's definitely not a podiatrist
  14. All little passes are not "bubble screens" (as that term is over used and defined)
  15. My point exactly, Yes...screens in college work amazing because you have 6'4" Sammy against a 6' kid from Georgia Tech who is studying to be a podiatrist.
  16. My theory is sound...if you can show me how well Sammy has run a "bubble screen" in the NFL, I will re-evaluate. And?
  17. It's quite possible a "bubble screen" may work in a game once...but it can't be relied on as a "go to" play because players are much more intelligent in the NFL than some kid fresh out of high school in Georgia. Also, if it was such a wonderful play, why hasn't anyone incorporated this play into our playbook in the last 10 years?
  18. I guess we can use this as a thread to argue certain myths relating to the Bills roster. Here's one: Myth: "Sammy Watkins would excel if we incorporated more "bubble screens" in our playbook like he ran in college" Truth: The CB's that covered Sammy in college are not Aqib Talib or Josh Norman type CB's (i.e. professional football players.) They are faster, stronger and more football savvy than the freshman and sophomore CB's that Sammy tore up as a junior and senior at Clemson. The LB's in the NFL are likewise faster and can react to screens better than the underclassmen LB's that Sammy embarrassed in college. Therefore, bubble screens won't work in the NFL which is why Sammy is used to stretch the field, not shorten it.
  19. Goalies that don't **** the bed in shootouts are easier to find.
  20. Get one with the name "jeffismagic"
  21. As if the game wasn't depressing enough, I see Antoine Smith Great pick.
  22. Does "quick transition" = "dump and chase"?? If so, Eichel's and Okposo's bodies will be worn down in three years.
  23. Nice!! Youngish coach, experience leading defense, recent success with a young Nashville team ...hoping Jack Eichel is ok with the hire.
