  1. I like the grades. It would be nice to see them play without making the killing mistakes. Other than the mistakes I thought the team looked good. I dont want to grade the coaches but thought they were off yesterday. I would give them low grades because of the following. For the last drive of the first half, it looked like a soft zone and no blitzing. Since the pressure was so effective why stop? Toward the end of the game Carolina was paper thin in the defensive secondary, and thy didnt challenge them. Why not? I am by no means an expert and only watched the game once, am I too hard on the coaches?
  2. Yes, really To say its not an "I told you so thread" when in fact thats what you did is well confusing. To say he won the game by caching a ball being totally wide open and it was lobed to him is crazy, I bet any of the posters here could make that catch. I can see the talent that SJ has, and thought he would be a good one from the year he was drafted. Again a guy that publicly says he doesn't do the off-season training and wonders how good he would be if he did, bothers me. Football is a team sport and he proves to be selfish, its a shame considering he is not a young player in his 6th year. I guess at the end of the day I dont believe that the postman should get paid extra to deliver the mail. Players that have been kicked around and deserve some love from yesterday imo would be Mario and McKelvin. not Stevie
  3. What I dont understand is how some people think that they are better talent evaluators by watching what TV shows. The coaches see all the game film in more angles and are present at the practices as well. What am I missing?
  4. Told us nothing... He did his job, no more.. He caught the passes that were thrown to him, dont we expect our # 1 WR to do that? He lost 2 games for us on plays we need our #1 to make, heck our #6 should make thoes playes. He was having a monster game against the Jets and his BS got him benched as it should have. If he wasnt benched the game would have been much different. Then the off season training thing. COME ON MAN!!
  5. Coaches job it to put players in a position to win and they did that. The players made the mistakes that lost the game.
  6. Weather may be nice but playing against a who cars team. Team young and flashy, yea and looks looks like a JV team, making mistakes left and right. Prices are cheap, in one of the smallest markets, experiencing a bad economy. Still a big stadium. 11th largest with 3 less than 1000 bigger. 3 or more stadiums are 10,000 smaller. Record holding playoff drought 3 years longer than the next team. Its amazing the support the Bills get with such a crappy product. Maybe you need a new team!!! Go away
  7. I am now concerned with Brooks out, I sure hope Gilmore comes back ahead of schedule.
  8. Would have worked just fine is SJ doesnt drop the ball. Why was he so open? answer- defense did not have time to adjust for that play. When the coaches had a plan that allowed players to be in position to make plays and the players dont get it done, DONT look at the coaches.
  9. I saw it too!!! I also saw big mouth stevie johnson drop a pass when the game was on the line again.
  10. If the D-line can get some pressure,it could be a long day for Brady. But, if he gets time any of the WRs will get get it done.
  11. Who care how they play the reporting game, 99.9% of the time a guy is listed probable he plays. So, expect him to play!!! The probable part is that he probably will be the first QB in a long time that beats the Pats twice in one season.
  12. Geno probably doesn't know what to look for on the tape anyway
  13. Chan liked to spread the Offense out so the defense could not load the box. That is why Spiller could rip off so many long runs. And think about what Chan had to work with a QB that leaves and doesn't even challenge for a starting spot, and 3 WR who wont be in football this year. Chad actually did alright with what he had to work with.
  14. The OP brings up some valid points, with some supporting stats. But lets factor in a few other problems that the bills have encountered over the past few years that contributed. 1. Chan didnt seem to run his Offense around TEs . He played multi WR sets 2. How many of the years did the O line stink? and the TE have to support in blocking 3. How many of the years did the D stink and not be able to get off the field? not giving the TEs a chance to get onto the field to get stats.
  15. For what Levitre got paid, keeping him didnt make sense. Even having the best guard in the league probably wont be a game changer anyway.
  16. I missed I little(thought Hogan was a rookie) but do you not realize that their are 2 WR rookies on the roster. Easley is like a rookie since he has 3 game under his belt.
  17. Dont understand the love affair with this guy. Some posting like he was the next coming of J.Rice. When he was not very involved in preseason games some claimed that they were trying the "sneak" him onto the PS. lol.. Still dont get it... He sure didnt prove anything in camp, as the Bills had 3 or 4 rookies who out performed him.
  18. Anyone thinking that Bills cage would be rattled by switching QBs is in crack!!! The bills need to worry about coming out and playing football, and limit the mental errors.
  19. Like their are pro-bowl CBs avalible.
  20. I rather have so-so young guys than older ones. With the older ones you got what you got, but younger guys have the potential to improve. Your WR core got younger, but now Jones and Nelson are no longer on any roster. At QB, Thigpen is out of football and Fitz didnt even challenge for a #1 position. So, when a team is short talent to improve you would have to get younger. Now lets hope these young guys limit the rookie mistakes.
  21. Even if EJ is healthy for week , I bet that another QB will get signed. Lewis was not retained because he stinks. I know the stats look ok but he cant throw the ball. Fred would do better, if it comes to that.
  22. Woods looks like a lock right now.
  23. Once bets are being placed I bet the line will go higher.
  24. I think its a reasonable roster. The only possible differences is the WR position. I think Easly played so much in preseason is to see if he could stay healthy, and he did. So I think he has a shot.
  25. Lets not put the cart in front of the horse. The only thing Lewis did last night is earn the spot to backup Tuel in the opener. Doesn't mean he is good, but just the best option at this time. Remember he was a long shot to make the Lions roster for a reason.
