  1. I expected that to be a much more confident and aggressive chant. That was embarrassing.
  2. SNF for sure. I think the league preference would be to give Baltimore an extra day rather than give the Bills one less day. (Saturday->Sunday vs Sunday->Saturday)
  3. We’ve talked about this at home since Allen arrived. As cool as the SB would be to attend, I’d rather watch the game in Buffalo. If the clock were to strike 0:00 with a Bills win I’d much rather be with my people. Also would you rather be at some generic expensive party hosted by Shaq or whatever and a million strangers who have never been to Buffalo? Or the one where they have to grease the lamp posts?
  4. If the Bills are hiding head injuries like OP says I hope the entire McBeane staff gets fired immediately.
  5. First of all, I hate this. Superstitions are real. Second, I went with the Lions because it will be tough to beat them twice.
  6. It is playoff time baby. If there is a lane, take the leash off and let Allen rush 15 times for 150 yards if that is what it takes on Sunday. I think Allens success (or lack there of) in the run game will be the difference maker if Denver is hell bent on playing man.
  7. He had a rough go yesterday, which was frustrating since it was the Patriots. I will throw a hail mary and hope that Micah Hyde makes a resurgence at some point because both Bishop and Hamlin scare me starting right now.
  8. I was impressed by Milton yesterday. I know they were scrubs, but the kid can sling it. He made some wow throws into tight coverage. There was an Allen throw where he rolled out right, pressed the sideline and delivered a strike to a WR who had a DB draped all over him.
  9. Not to derail the thread, but Tua is really bad for the league. He is clearly at major risk of something catastrophic happening to him. And if it does the league is going to run into a host of lawsuits and become extremely costly to insure.
  10. It is no longer 3 points these days. Depending on the match up it is 1.5 to 2.
  11. I really wish that teams weren't allowed to interview playoff team staff during the playoffs. I absolutely hate that they're taking hours out of their day to prep and interview mid week.
  12. He was meh yesterday. I got called into work yesterday so didn't watch as closely as I normally would. But y big take away was that he wasn't put in great situations to succeed. I certainly would have like him to hall one or two of those in. There was one pass on I believe a crosser I wish he would have pulled in. But other than that the rest were basically hail mary balls. But I was also impressed he was able to bring in that sideline ball he had no business catching. But Mitch pushed it too far out of bounds.
  13. I didn’t realize AVP had gotten so big. Sheesh. I got whiplash.
  14. Kind of the opposite of the Mario Williams thread, I was hoping we would keep this one under 10 pages with the 2 seed locked up and all.
  15. My big (and only) kick back is that while Brady seems to be a blooming OC and play caller, being the HC/CEO is a totally different job that requires a totally different skill set. I’m not confident hes been around long enough to develop a leadership skill set strong enough to be in charge of 50+ elite athletes, another 50+ support staff, and a billionaire boss. For every Kyle Shanahan or Sean McVay there are dozens of Wade Philips, Leslie Fraziers, etc.
  16. I don’t think they’re particularly scary. I think they’re a very bad match up on a hot streak.
  17. I’ll scream it from the rooftops. I DON’T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WOTH THE BENGALS. We have done a poor job against that squad on a few occasions when that roster was much colder than it is now. My next least favorite team is Baltimore. It’s not that they’re so good, just that both seem to be bad matchups for us right now. After that I don’t really care.
  18. I thought there was a 30/70 chance that Hyde was called up this week. Not super high but a reasonable maybe. If they wanted him to coach they could just have him coach. One or two banged up players and he’s dressing. I’d like to see him get game speed reps in the event of an emergency.
  19. My quick $0.02 Denver is all but guaranteed to be Sunday at 1pm. Bengals will get a primetime showing. Any of the 8pm games Dolphins could fall anywhere. I’d be a little surprised at an 8pm for that matching up. But either 4pm (Saturday/Sunday) or 1pm Sunday is where I’d put my money. I definitely wouldn’t put my mortgage on Buffalo getting a Saturday game (regardless of opponent).
  20. I haven’t followed it on Twitter but thaw tweet you linked seems to imply that there’s an extension already in the works and they’re waiting to ink the deal.
  21. By my eye Mack Hollins is our best ST player by a giant margin. I get it, nobody pays attention to gunners across the league. But at the same time Hollins has been amazing in kick coverage for us and not getting any votes is a criminal.
  22. Jason Peters is a first ballot HOF LT. No idea how he isn’t on anybodies list. Andre and Moulds were both better receivers than Stef. Shocked he’s on here twice. No hate on Smerlas or Kyle, but Ted Washington deserves some love here.
  23. I’m a very regular Reddit user. But when it comes to both football and hockey I’ve found Reddit to be the absolute worst place to discuss the Bills and Sabres. Easily the worst takes by the most stubborn posters who clearly aren’t watching many if any games outside of their own teams, nor or they actually curious about anything at all. Worth noting that the general hockey and NFL subreddits are better than the Bills and Sabres subs. EDIT: To the OP. Paragraphs are your friend on message boards.
  24. I think anything below 3 I tend to start to disagree with. 4 is a grey area. 5 would be waaaay too low IMO. Power rankings are imperfect, is it a review? a look forward? record? all encompassing? trending? Buffalo and Philly should be 1 and 2 at this point. Doesn't matter what order. Detroit can still live in the top 3 based on what they have done. But with injuries do you move them out? I don't put KC there. They just have not been good despite winning games. I think Minnesota, KC, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and GB are a hodgepodge. I could flip flop them around depending on what I am looking at.
