  1. As a very slowly decompress from last night I find myself remembering how frustrated I was in the second half. Cook was getting stuffed often. KC had adjusted to the run. The situation was prime for play action, bootlegs, and screens. Allen picked up some tough yards as the game went on.
  2. It was crazy to go for it, but if you are going to do that at least go down swinging and put the ball in Allen's hands.
  3. Agreed. Martin was hobbled. The defense was broken and beaten. My biggest issue was taking Allen of the field. If we’re going to go for it put it in the hands of your best player. Line up and make them stop Josh Allen.
  4. Possibly if healthy. Not if we rolled out another mash unit.
  5. This one hurt pretty bad. We should have had this one.
  6. That was the 14th play of the drive. That’s an eternity by NFL standards. Taking the score there is fine. Otherwise we’re saying “you know what the Bills really needed? A 20 play drive” that’s just not reasonable.
  7. CBS is Paramount and Paramount is CBS. They aren’t competitors.
  8. No idea what happened back there but he didn’t mark himself available.
  9. Id actually prefer an aging Evans if the cost is right. I don’t think it takes “much” to sign him short term compared to other WR numbers. That said, I’m irked Diggs didn’t meet with the media after a tough loss…again….
  10. Yes, but he’s not free if we don’t move on. He costs $28M to keep him here. So it’s $3M more to move on that it is to keep him. This is a super important distinction. Now, we are close against the cap, and that is a fair point. But his contract on its own is movable.
  11. Id love to move him inside, but $28M is a lot of cheese for that role.
  12. Diggs fumble, drop, and no presser and he’s going to cost nearly $28M next year. Sheesh. A couple plays here and there would have made the difference. But our high profile QB met the challenge and our WR didn’t. This offense is become a group of role players, and that’s ok. If Stef is going to be more than that he can’t put the ball on the ground and drop passes that hit him in the chest on the biggest stage.
  13. I am critical of Allen a lot, but we got more out of him tonight than anybody should expect of him. He deserves the ‘Cool Running’s’ slow clap for sure. He was phenomenal.
  14. When I look at the fame at a 1000 foot view it came down to some bunch of major individual mishaps like Klein in coverage, Diggs drops, defensive 4th stringers not holding up. But Bass is also one of those individual gaffes. And given his tenure I expect him to make a 44 yarder. At least give those guys on defense a chance. It isn’t right to blame Bass. But it’s not right to look over him either.
  15. This one hurts…as bad as any….on a field goal. I have been critical of Josh, but he was as lights out and perfect as I ever could have hoped for. A bunch of WR let him down with absolute dimes. I kinda sorta hated the fake punt, but honestly I get it. The defense was all back ups and bumps/bruises were catching up. Martin struggled. BUT. What I hated was putting that play in the hands of Damar Hamlin. If you’re going for it you put Josh Allen on the field. Let him win or lose that down. Heart breaker amongst a long list of heart breakers.
  16. Cool. Go to your neuro and tell them you got a concussion today then ask if it’s cool if you get tackled by Ray Lewis at full speed next week. 100 out of 100 times they will say no. Concussion protocol only exists to save the NFL’s ash not because its sound medical advice.
  17. Cool. Im not a neuro, but I have one at the Cleveland Clinic and another at Mount Sinai, and both have said that the NFL concussion protocol isn’t what they would practice at either hospital.
  18. Playoff timelines are different than regular season. This is the most important home game this team has played in 30 years. This team played Beasley on a broken leg. They’ll let anybody go who gets doctors clearance for this one.
  19. Guys in host of other sports have missed 365 + days for a single concussion. The league has zero players with roster sizes 2x-3x. Take your kid to Dent neuro or the Cleveland clinic the day after their 5th concussion and see if they clear them to play sports 6 days later. They won’t do it.
  20. Dorsey was part of building this thing. By all counts he’s a good X’s and O’s coach and a smart guy. But he seems to lack in his feel for play calling. If he can get better at that then he’s a good get for somebody. I have no ill will for the guy. Good luck out there Ken.
  21. That’s remarkable. From a pure fandom perspective I’m glad he is a go. From a human perspective, this is this guys 5th concussion of his career and he can play in 6 days? Nobody in the NFL gives a shirt about player health or safety, and the independent neuro’s must be on the take.
  22. I hope it’s an inside job and one of the security guards jumps in. The pit gets what the pit wants.
  23. And it’s his 5th one in his career. Dude is scrambled eggs. That said, I think he’ll play.
