I like Shilo. He's the exact opposite of everything I see from Shedeur. I know it's a short clip, but man, just speaks volumes to their different characters. "You can't disrespect him, he the reason you got it like this. Everything we got is because of this man". There's another clip out there where he's giving Deion a hard time about his 4.2 40 not being on tape. It's all a joke that ends with him asking Prime "what do I have to do to run a 4.2?" https://www.facebook.com/share/r/19F3nvQB23/ I would steer clear of Shaduer (obviously we have Josh) but I'd consider taking a 6th/7th round flyer or UDFA on Shilo. It is crazy how different those two are.

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
Mango replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm curious if they give Tre a shot at safety. But that's a topic for another thread. -
It has nothing to do with them being happy for their kid. Their home comes across as pretentious and their kid looks like a Logan Paul doppelganger. It's the combination of the two things. Maybe they're all awesome. It's just an internet hot take with what seems like an eternity between picks.
-
His draft party looks like a home that's too fancy to be allowed to sit on the furniture. I know nothing about his family. I'm going off of a 30 second clip. But every single one of him and his family members seems very punchable.

You're a HC/GM of a QB needy team and Sanders doesn't play well and Prime is calling for your job on national media 3x per week. It's a tough spot.
-
I wonder if the elephant in the room is Deion. If you take Shaduer you have to deal with Deion chirping about your franchise every week. And not from home. From his weekly pressers and barstool contract. I'm not saying Sanders is an awesome prospect but I'm curious if more QB needy teams would be willing to take a flyer if not for dad having such a pulpit.
-
I agree. I think we're saying something similar. Either give up the 2025 picks or the 2026.
-
Have we gotten another view of the Sanders draft room? Is Shedeur back from his tantrum yet?
-
Agreed. For me the overpay is the 2026 1 on top of a 1, 2, and 4 this year.

Super talented. Giving up next years first is where I draw the line it I'm Jacksonville. I am very curious to see how his demand to play both sides of the ball plays out. He's got a lot of snaps under his belt now. Deion is on the Mount Rushmore of best all around athletes to ever play in the league and he couldn't make it work to the degree that Hunter is asking. Hunter is a blue chip talent no doubt. But I don't think he's a full standard deviation better of an athlete than Prime was. Which is what I think it would take to play both sides of the ball the amount that seems to be implied.

Thats an insane trade. Especially for what we're assuming isn't a QB. If that is setting the market the Bills are either staying put or trading down. Hard to believe the Browns came out on top of anything these days.
-
I don't understand why in these first picks they don't announce immediately and then let the kid talk for 6-7 minutes. Forget Kiper.
-
I was literally just complaining about this. Like come on guys, they've known. Everybody knows. Just open the draft with the first pick and start the clock on the second. It's a dumb pet peeve of mine. What if they hosted it in Hammers?
-
He's not drunk now? "Thee people, thee peoples they thaid that Green Bay was too thmall."

I hope this whole thing works out. But the last 10 years RB's have been paid peanuts compared to other skill positions. The stuff with Cook bothers me waaaay less than a WR holding out over $25 v $28M. Cook likely only gets one big contract. That said, unless he becomes a 3 down back I wouldn't get near $15M.

I'm too young for OJ but you watch those clips or games and it's glaringly obvious that he's often the best athlete on the field by a country mile. I think he easily deserves to be on th Bills Mount Rushmor of greats (murder aside). Funny you put this out there because today I had a random thought that if Allen QB'd those 90's teams they'd likely have won at least one SB.

Terry Pegula is a terrible owner and will eventually tank the Bills once he moves on from McBeane. What McBeane lack in closing out games and/or hitting on top 100 picks they make up for in managing one of the worst owners in the big 4 sports leagues. By all accounts Pegula is a decent dude. But you can't convince me that he's not a terrible people manager.
-
Somebody should tell that to Prime. (I don't disagree with you)

THIS! I also think this is less about the Titans likeing or disliking Shedeur. And more about him trying to pick where he goes. Kind of like Eli. I wouldn't be shocked if they met and Sanders camp said "we're not coming if you draft us". But I also think there's a nonzero chance that the Giants grab Sanders, Deion is the HC for the 2026 season, and both parties have already talked about it.

The tough part is that he's not a shock jock. He's a new aged sports commentator. I think there is a line there especially because this starts to color way outside the lines of sports. If 2002 Howard Stern did this it would be another wild and crazy thing he said/did it would burn bright for a moment and fizzle until he did that next absurd thing. He also openly doesn't follow sports and it would disappear much quicker. Point being, PM isn't a shock jock.

I think he can find some productivity. But that depends on how willing he is to be a role player. I imagine that at some point he'll command attention from the offense that he can't fulfill on. If he were a more Larry Fitzgerald type human (and talent), he could likely be a very productive WR for a few more years But alas, he'll go the ODB route and try and team hop and catch fire as "the guy" only to flame out of that role.

Huh? He is the highest paid QB in the league.... I don't think the deal is good or bad. It is fair market value that works for both sides. There are just a number of posters insinuating that this is some super awesome selfless thing he did. He played like the best QB in the league. Then he asked to be paid like the best QB in the league. Now he is the highest paid player in the NFL. I am fine with all of that.
-
Regarding Knox, I think we could maybe see an extension here. He hasn't lived up to his contract, yes. Which is why I think a mid to long term extension at a more fair value to finish his career with Josh could be on the table. Taking on 3-4 years (34/35 years old) to keep him under $10M would be huge.
-
Let me start by saying, I think Josh's requests and current deal are more than fair. And by all accounts Allen is an all time good human. But I also see stuff like this posted a lot. Beane admitted that Josh has been needling him with every new contract that he isn't paid more. We didn't get a 6 year extension, we got a 2 year extension with a pay increase for the next 4 years that was already on the books. The deal helps Josh. The deal helps the team. But lets not pretend that this is a TB12 type pay cut. We are talking about a contract that is the most guaranteed money in the history of the league. Again, this is a contract he was asking for. It is fine and good, but I don't find it remarkable or deserving much thanks.

Tin foil hat? There is maybe a non-zero chance that if they get fired after the season, Deion becomes the next HC of the Giants.
