    Well this defense should get better over the season as Cole Bishop settles in, we get Milano back, and Taron Johnson returns to form. we’re also getting some really poor play from Groot and Oliver (even before he got hurt), and I’m not sure that’s not gonna reverse course

    Sure but you look at the AFC and clearly the chiefs, ravens, Houston and likely the chargers are a level up on this team. I just don’t see how the Bills get through those teams.

    They’re not gonna waste a draft pick in season when they don’t the defense to be a contender

    This is a playoff team because someone has to win the division but it’s not a contending team. The jets were down 3 starters INT he secondary and the bills still struggle for get going through the air. and the defense lacks blue chippers

    That was 100% on the players. People would be freakin out if the bills just gave up the sidelines and an easy FG. There were 4 defenders around Lazard. a million times over on the players

    And also? Ravens are executing at a really high level. That’s Lamar Jackson and he’s got legit talent around him. Even with the full corps of defenders they’re gonna have some success the way they are playing. sometimes you just tip your hate and keep fighting

    His guys are playing themselves out of position- either pre snap or post snap making late or poor reads. That’s coaching that in that you hope they react better by coaching but it’s mostly just talent issue. There’s a reason these guys were cheap/low round back ups

    I mean those aren’t guaranteed catches and even elite guys make those drops. You can also see how upset Keon is. Would relax with him, this isn’t on him. I mean it was 2nd and 10 and the bills needed a weird ass timeout to get a 4th down. Josh isn’t seeing the field well tonight when it’s not a pre-snap read. Holding it too long

    On one hand the bills D is overwhelmed by the Ravens hash to hash talent. But on the hand their offense - and that most definitely includes Allen - has been utter ass

    We definitely need to slow this game down to let the defense adjust themselves mentally to be prepared pre snap
