  1. Then Tyrod needs to continue throwing to "spots" and hope his WR's / TE's / RB's win a boat load of contested catches. That is what I remember the most from Flacco's ride to Super Bowl win. His passes were contested, but most often caught, catch after catch. That and the O Line quietly dominated through out the playoffs, especially in the Super Bowl.
  2. Bracket Gronk and play man coverage. Hopefully our run D will be up to the task.
  3. Yep. The context of my post was intended to mean the roster building. Biscuit and Thurman were the next 2 pillars that helped us further separate from the Dolphins.
  4. I remember quite well. One of the key reasons for the Bills dominance was the change over in rosters - Bills hitting on draft picks like Kelly, Talley, Smith, Reed, Burroughs, Wolford and so on + Free Agent pick ups like Hull and Tasker. The '87 game in Miami coming out of the strike was a true turning point as the Bills came back from I think down 21 - 3 to win in OT. Later in '87 we stomped the Fins at Rich Stadium 21 - 0, I was at the game. So while our roster was on the upswing, the Dolphins were changing over from the the early '80's teams that went to 2 Super Bowls and 4 conference championship games.
  5. Logically speaking, this is what most likely unfold's: Bills beat Miami, lose to NE Tennessee 1-1 is last 2, probably loses to Rams, beats Jax, as Jax may not need week 17. We get in. I doubt that Baltimore is 1-1 in last 2, most likely 2-0. Playoffs are quite a legitimate possibility for the Bills. We need to take care of business in Miami.
  6. Chill me friend. Happens to all folks who post on social media. Have to roll with the punches.
  7. Keep an eye on Lamar Jackson from Louisville. His passign jumped quite nicely from last year to this year.
  8. That team gave the eventual Washington Redskins a lot of problems in the Divisional Playoff round, The Redskins toughest playoff game that year, simply because Deion could cover half the field. One of the more under rated wild card teams of that era.
  9. And water is wet, the sun is hot, we all pay taxes, etc.
  10. Beat the Jets in NY and win our remaining home games = 10 wins. Should be enough to secure at least a wildcard. But I want the Division Title.
  11. Think you are poking just a little to much here. If he passes his physical and his knees are OK, this is a good trade based on value we provided in return.
  12. Great point on NBC. Remember however that NBC is owned by Comcast, whom has many other cash gushing revenue streams to balance out any possible softness across their, Comcast, other Lines Of Business's including NBC. Another point of consideration here is that there are now to many media vehicles to watch games on. Meaning that maybe fans are saying "enough football is enough". Thursday -> then Sunday 9:30 when playing in London, 1:00, 4:00 8:30 -> then Monday night. Across ESPN, NBC, CBS, FOX, Yahoo, Amazon, Directv and on and on.
  13. One of the most gruesome, unexpected injuries I ever saw. Wow. It's like....did I just see that???
  14. No, '96 was. '95 was an awesome season, if only Bruce Smith didn't catch a 103 degree fever and bad flu the Thursday before the Saturday Pitt playoff game. If he was healthy, we had a legitimate chance to run the table.....seriously too bad to. That was Wade's / Ted's / Bryce's / Jeffcoat's first season in Buffalo. All starts / ends with Del Rio.....
  15. Win Thursday at the JETS and the remainder of our home games and we hit 10.
  16. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2017/10/seahawks-willing-to-trade-jimmy-graham-still-pursuing-lt
  17. Pryor? For a low ball price, nothing more. Bad attitude and average at best. Revis? As we look at the coming schedule, that's interesting. FJAX? Always loved FJAX. Send uber to his house now.
  18. Things can change of course in this league week to week, there is enough talent on the Steelers roster to right the ship right away. However, top to bottom, even more so on the offense, the Steelers look like a ticking time bomb ready to implode. Sure they demolished the Ravens a week ago, but not so sure that win is really worthy of being called impressive. My view is that there are bigger issues that are effecting the team that unfortunately spills over to Sunday.
  19. Love Raven Stadium. Personally, the loudest stadium I have been in. The best game I ever saw played in person was the Colts at Ravens 2007 Divisional Playoff Game <playoffs for the 2006 season>. Ravens were #1 seed, with Steve McNair at the helm. I sat in the end zone, same end zone side, opposite corner Ray Lewis would do his thing out of the tunnel, with an old friend. We were a direct audience to Steve McNair's ill advised int in the end zone, which totally changed the game. Ravens were dominating till that play Viniateri kicked 5 50 yard + field goals. Colts won 15 - 6. Park anywhere near the stadium, easy in and out. Fans are rugged / battle tested / grizzled / fun, so behave.
