I hope so. That would be a steal at round 5 if Darryl Johnson plays even anywhere near Hughes.

If the Bills Trade at the Deadline.. What Position?
Happy replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, I have, as well as last year. He looks to have had one holding call last year, but got beat plenty. Dawkins was the best of a bad O-line with Castillo's incompetence, but that still wasn't saying much about him. Read this for further reference (you need to) https://nflmocks.com/2019/07/24/buffalo-bills-2019-dion-dawkins/ I know Dawkins has been called for holding more than once this year....I've watched the games, Mrs. Dawkins. -

Dawkins has been getting a number of calls for holding, most likely because he is getting beat. Dawkins is an average LT at best, and probably better suited for LG. Nsecki might be worth another look at LT (did a good job filling in for Trent Williams last year) if Ford or someone else could hold up better at RT. Not sure what Trent Williams wants, but he is a much better than average LT; there is a bit of an injury concern looking back the past couple of seasons, so that could give pause to pursuing him. -
Pat DiMarco in concussion protocol (update - cleared)
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, we should. Just as long as Barkley doesn't have to do too much. It's really on the defense's shoulders. -
Pat DiMarco in concussion protocol (update - cleared)

McDermott today mentioned that Josh is still in concussion protocol. Doubt Josh plays Sunday, so have to get Matt Barkley ready to be the starter vs Tenn. -

I think they need to take a look at LT. Dawkins is LT depth or LG; not dependable enough to start at LT. If there happens to be an edge/DE, that is another need and would make our D-line an absolute monster. -
Dr. Chandler#81’s concussion observations
Happy replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ah, I see what you're getting at. If there is a "grey area" between concussion and not a concussion, Josh might have been there. The hit in the 4th quarter put him over the top. -
Dr. Chandler#81’s concussion observations
Happy replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh came out after half time and his 3rd quarter play was much better. They went more for the quick, short route stuff and Allen looked much better. So I'm not sure I buy Allen was concussed in the 1st quarter. If there were any indications that Josh might have suffered a concussion as a result of hitting his head on the turf in Q1, the officials would have been all over that, and Allen would not have been on the field past that point in the game. -
Did Jonathan Jones purposely take out Josh Allen?
Happy replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One of those knuckle heads suggested it was borderline spearing by Josh Allen. That poster goes by "Zuma", which must mean "farm animal stupid." https://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/the-jonathan-jones-hit-wasnt-dirty.1149805/ -
The First Program Cover From the 1st Game at The Rich
Happy replied to T&C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That make hasn't existed in the USA since the late 1980s, I believe. Datsun is still around in S. Africa, Russia, and some countries in Asia. It is owned by Nissan. Thanks for the old posts...very cool stuff ? -

I'll take the Datsun for $2195. There are couches today that cost more than that. -
Dawkins at LT has been subpar, as well. We have problems at both OT spots right now. Maybe we get lucky and Ford starts to develop into a serviceable to good RT, but that is a ways off. I still wonder if Nsecke is a better LT; he played that spot in Washington when he filled in for Trent Williams and did well.

The Athletic: Brett Favre’s Advice to Josh Allen
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wasn't this what Daboll tried to tell Josh in the off season? I seem to recall an article about Josh's development where he admitted as much. I just wonder how much longer it will take for Josh to stop reverting to his college form and play the way he's being taught now. This includes sliding rather than trying to be a big RB. -
Edmunds has really stepped up, really liked what I saw from him. Our DBs are among the best in the league, not a surprise. I just wish we had an above average DE/edge across the line from Hughes. That would be huge.

Brady needs to get hit more. That is all.

Two points: 1. It was cheap 2. what would happen if it were a Bills defensive player that did that to Brady? Fine? Suspension? Personal, hysterical call from Goodell?

Josh Allen in concussion protocol: Update cleared 10/5
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Belichick has no problem with the hit...of course not. Maybe it's time to change the way you coach your defensive players, Bill. In the mean time Josh Allen remains in concussion protocol. -
I'd like to see Murphy gone and Shaq Lawson re-signed. Murphy is useless and Shaq is really starting to come into his own. I'd also like to see Star gone, but that might create too many holes to fill so he will probably be back next year. Push Murphy to the bench? I hope so, the bar is set low so I'm optimistic in Johnson being able to do that.

Jerry Hughes versus who for the Patriots?
Happy replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/tom-brady-getting-special-treatment-dolphins-linebacker-claims-ref-told-him-to-stay-off-patriots-qb/ "Although there's no way to 100 percent prove that the ref said this, McMillan's story seems to check out. At one point in the game, you can see him put his hands up in the air after making a hit on Brady. Also, after the play, it appears that both McMillan and Brady were looking at the ref, who was set up behind the Patriots quarterback." -

Apparently Denial IS a river in Egypt... Official to Miami defense: "Take it easy on Tom. Don't touch him" It's all over the place so don't even try to deny it. -

To me, the tuck rule gave birth to the Patriots dynasty. What a travesty and still one of the worst calls ever made in a game. It was a fumble. -
Heads up play by Tyler Boyd calling the t.o. Maybe Zay will learn to do that, after he learns how to be a competent WR.

Haha. Yep, the criminals were shipped out.
