  1. No, but that wasn't the point.
  2. I do know that. Didn't matter with regards to helmet to helmet fine, now did it?
  3. We were pretty sure this was the case last Sunday night. NFL supposedly wants to eliminate ALL helmet to helmet hits, yet this gets through because Al Riveron determined Jonathan Jones turned his shoulder to avoid a hit on Josh. Cheats slide by again...
  4. That's all well and good that Duke is looking forward to making contact and being physical. He needs to catch, and hold onto the ball during contact; I'd imagine he's not exactly Michael Irvin at this point. IMO, Zay does have some value in the shorter routes; Daboll was inexplicably using him on longer routes, and most likely just outsmarting himself like he tends to do. Hoping for the best with Duke.
  5. Not surprising. He seems to be a TBD poster favorite; let's see if he makes a difference.
  6. It's interesting that Ed "Too Tall" Jones believes Joe Montana was actually throwing the ball away when Dwight Clark happened to see it and was able to jump just high enough to catch it. Plausible theory, though I don't recall hearing Montana's response to that theory. The three picks stat is long forgotten about and just a side note in history at this point.
  7. This is probably smart on McD's part. Why give out more info than you need to, before you need to? Would Belichick not do the same?
  8. While this would be enticing, Vonn Miller plays OLB in a 3-4 scheme. Not sure how well he would transfer over to McD's 4-3 scheme.
  9. I saw that round table. None of those other guys; Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Jason Taylor, or Randy White were able to cut toward the QB like Bruce did. I'd say Jason Taylor probably came the closest, while Randy White (and Howie) played in a different era and technique. I wish we had a Bruce right now, it would make the defense elite.
  10. FIFY... How noble of you. We're soooo lucky to have you. You come up with some real gems and low hanging fruit. ?
  11. In other words, it's about his scheme and not the players. I echo the sentiment of your last sentence.
  12. Like Albert Haynesworth, Dareus won't learn until his career prematurely ends and he's hanging drywall.
  13. Snyder also wanted RGIII, Shanahan wanted Kirk Cousins. One is a backup, the other is starting on a big contract; how good Cousins is, is up for debate but this is another case of Snyder ultimately getting it wrong. The Redskins will always be a charlie foxtrot as long as Snyder is the owner. I agree with the sentiment that not sure why anyone would want to coach in Washington.
  14. Supposedly this was already done, the NFL said it wants ALL helmet to helmet hits eliminated from the game. Apparently it depends on what team applies the hit.
  15. Wow. What a finish. Seattle is lucky
  16. I would have thought Seattle could come up with something better
  17. Yeah. We just have to take care of business going forward and get another shot at the Cheats week 16
  18. good challenge. Ball didn't hit the ground
  19. Here is where Goff throws a pick
  20. Metcalf needed to haul that in
  21. Game has really become diluted. Too technical anymore Gotta go for 2
  22. Throw a pick, Goff. You're due...
  23. This is a bad challenge. Bob never got his left foot in bounds.
  24. looked like offensive PI. Cooks seemed to have a hand full of the defenders jersey.
