  1. Dawkins holds a lot because he gets beat a lot. Why not try Nsekhe at LT? He filled in for Trent Williams in Washington and did well. Not sure if Nsekhe looked bad in camp and/or got beat out by Dawkins, or the offensive coaches just favored Dawkins. Might be time to revisit that decision.
  2. I did? It was apparent pretty early that RJ, Losman, and EJ (all rookies) would struggle. Josh has a much higher ceiling than any of those guys. It was also obvious that Fitz would end up letting us down with his penchant for pick 6's. Tyrod while a great athlete and protected the ball, would not throw to a receiver unless he was "college open."
  3. I'd feel better about next week if Singletary plays. Barkley will need as much help as possible. He will need to get the ball out quickly since our O-line is struggling with pass protection. The run game and short, quick passes will be a good start, rather than the long ball requiring a longer time of pass protection.
  4. Please tell me you're not equating this NE defense with the 85 Bears defense. NE's defense is good, but no where near that good.
  5. Yes, we know...thanks. Allen will eventually learn; he's the type of player that will take this kind of performance personally. Josh knows he sucked and the defense played spectacularly and he let the team down; that will weigh on him. I'm not concerned at this point.
  6. He's essentially still a rookie, this was his 15th NFL game, so he's still prone to mistakes. That said, I have to believe that these mistakes will weigh on him and he'll learn. This isn't the year we go deep in the playoffs. I'll still take 10-6 and a wildcard spot.
  7. Yeah, looks like a loss. Survivor leagues are hard to win. Plus Goff sucks.
  8. They are a marginal 4-0 team. Your helmet to helmet hitting DB should have been ejected. This was the first tough game you had, and you're lucky to have won.
  9. The offensive line is still kind of a mess. Can Ford get it together at RT? Not sold on Dawkins at LT; he's marginal at best.
  10. I took the Rams. Thought that would be safe.
  11. Brady gets the ball out in 2-3 seconds, tops. He is very tough to sack. Our defense did a good job of putting pressure on him, disrupting his timing, and were aggressive with their receivers.
  12. This is a game we should win. Hope Josh and Singletary will be able to play.
  13. It's an ironic tweet, but he has a point
  14. What is happening to the Rams? 28-20 Bucs mid 3rd quarter, in LA.
  15. Really? You don't think there would be any second guessing of either decision McD made in that type of situation?
  16. If we kicked the field goal mid 4th quarter and still lost, everyone would say we should have gone for the TD. McD coached to win, and I applaud him for that.
  17. Can't argue this. I was hoping Zay would make a break through this year, but he is not much different than last year. Sad, we could have had Smith-Schuster rather than McD's at the time WR coach's pet project.
  18. McD and Frazier way exceeded my expectations for them. I was certain they would get picked apart playing a lose zone D with cover 2. Instead, they played the NE WRs tight and got pressure on Brady.
  19. I agree, and I'm a little surprised. McD and his staff coached to win; I'm really in disbelief about Frazier...he coached a great game. Josh and SpT made too many mistakes.
  20. Dion Dawkins is a marginal NFL LT
  21. What are you, 12 years old?
  22. Dion Dawkins is an average NFL LT; he needs to be moved to guard or traded after this year. Gets beat then has to hold the DE so Josh doesn't get killed
  23. Hope it wasn't a concussion and he passes protocol
  24. Seriously? Getting within 3 with less than 2 minutes does nothing. NE would just run out the clock.
