I have a gut feeling it is going to be opposite and we suffer our first blowout loss of the season.

Jim Harbaugh took over a very talented team (built on many drafts and many losing seasons which he did not have to endure). John Harbaugh inherited the best defense in the NFL and perhaps one of the best of all time. Tomlin inherited one of the best run organizations (front offices) in the NFL with a team (talent level) in its prime. Oh yeah and that defense too. So yes there are lots of coattails. Just like Andy Ried and the Chiefs today.

This is the demographic of the frivolous lawsuit right here.

This context worries me about how well he has performed with in-game management.

I only see a different mentality on the defense side of the ball. Pettine and his scheme gets the credit for that not Marrone. This team also has a lot more talent than we had 3 years ago. Marrones hire also fell in line with the GM hitting on some draft picks giving us immediate impact. IMO Marrone is riding coattails off of a variety circumanstances. But our record still sucks.

Marrones in-game management hasn't been any better than Mularkey, Jauron, Williams, and Gailey.

I am in the camp that it is more of what Mike Pettine is doing and just better overall talent than we had in previous regimes, especially when Gailey first took over, the franchise was at rock bottom talent wise.

As much as we bash Hacketts poor playcalls, it pales in comparison to Shanahan last night. Having his son tied to him must drive Redskins fans nuts.

Totally agree that it is extremely pathetic. I willfully purchased madden 2008 and 2013. This lawsuit is everything that is wrong in the world of lawsuits and lawyers.

These are the results you get when you draft players based solely on "tools". One of the reasons the Raiders and Bills have messed up their drafts like they have.

This is nonsense. You can only speculate how many hours they put in and how stress full their job is to other professions. Is a prosecutor that works night and day, having to carry a gun around all the time because they are getting death threats not as stress full as speaking to the media? There are a lot of factors involved in "stress" in all professions.

You really don't know that nor the stresses that other people experience with their jobs.

Just like anyone else that works in this world.

There entertaining because we keep games close because the defense is actually competent this year. However, the overall talent and coaching still is an issue as our divisional and overall record dictates this. It's the same problems as previous years with injuries, can't win close games, no stability and question marks at the QB position. Problems with in game management. We won't even know what we have at QB going into next year (partially due to injuries of course).

It pretty much is the "same old Bills" this year with the exception of Mike Pettine who has made the biggest difference...but we have regressed in other areas.

In the few years he has been here and all his "speed" we really have never seen him in "space" with the football.

"Lack of effort" is not the only reason players get benched. I'm just saying that is a hypothetical possibility based on player production more than anything else. Marrones "next man up" mentality.
