  1. Yup! To just name a few, I am more impressed with the workload and stress that that are forced upon lawyers, truck drivers, chefs, military and firefighters And many of them to don't live comfortably financially, unlike 100% of NFL headcoaches.
  2. It's not that it is no 'big deal" its just that its really no different than the stress everyone else feels on a daily basis. It just occurs in different ways and not in a public spectrum. Also factor in people making 1/20th, 1/130th, 1/40th or less of what Harbaugh makes in year.
  3. You can use the same technique. Beef shanks are a prime candidate for braising!
  4. Meh! If we documented every conversation, meeting, every activity and bowel movement we had in a day it would seem stressfull to the reader too! The only thing I see is that he spends a more than the "average" away time from the family. This is no different than a lot of professions though and they make 1/20th of his salary. What about the prosector that drinks himself to death because of what he sees daily in his cases and the stress of being shot on daily basis? What about the dishwasher making MINIUMUM WAGE that has 3rd degree burns all over his arms and lower body from a deep fryer? What about he roofer working on a roof when we feel 100 degrees on the ground? Dying of dehydration. The only thing weaker than this thread is the week in the life of John Harbaugh. +100000000
  5. I got my Xbox One all hooked up. It is sweet! I really like the user interface and the Kinect 2 is some amazing technology. The off-axis is quite superb on the camera. Although I'm sure there will be lots of firmware updates coming to work out the kinks now that it's in beta phase with the user base. The console and Kinect are of high build quality. My games haven't been delivered yet. That's the great thing about the entire user base having the Kinect. MS and developers can invest heavily into making it work and making it work well. I like the PS4 too. Actually I am going to play some Killzone right now.
  6. If refs went off their "opinion" on calls they should be fired. Going by the rule book and judgement...sure.
  7. +1 I would also add the NFL rule book on what constitutes pass interference as well. Your quote above sums up this entire situation perfectly!
  8. Right is right and your post is right on! Pass interference starts at the first "bullseye".
  9. Make sense. But there was interference even before the ball was intercepted.
  10. So he said nothing at all. Sitting on the fence. This points more to the fact that once the call is made it should not have been overturned.
  11. Not quite. Where the initial contact (pass interference) with the linebacker with his back to the play occurs is right were the ball is thrown in the endzone. Blatant pass interference.
  12. But they actually did and wrongfully overturned the call on the field. And the initial flag was for pass interference because if the flag was for illegal contact or holding, the notion of the ball being "catchable" doesn't matter.
  13. Pass interference all the way. The linebacker initiated contact and had his back to the play and wasn't playing the ball at all. Refs ALWAYS call that on DB's. The linebacker doesn't even know the ball is even thrown to that direction. It's impossible unless he has eyes on the back of his head. Whats more egregious is there is about 2 seconds of contact even before the DB breaks for the ball to intercept and then at that point the LB is literally a brick wall hugging him impeding his movement.

  15. Your logic shows that it was egregious referring. They called it a penalty on the field and if "I won't say its a bad call (not sure it's a good one either)" then they shouldn't have changed the ruling on the field.
  16. Robert Krafts cheque to the refs must have bounced before the game. New England got really screwed. If the holding and contact came before the pass the refs should have called holding or illegal contact. If it was after the pass that was pass blatant interference. Gronk was being held/interfered and it definitely impeded him coming back to the ball and could have made a play on the ball. He was interfering him for a few seconds! The player became a brick wall. Blatant penalty...awful officiating and it couldn't have happened to a better organization

  18. Honestly, I like Hacketts energy on the sideline. It's energy that can only help keep EJ and the offense in general focused in-game. There is a disconnect in the booth.
  19. When that happened I honestly thought of the guy on WGR.
  20. 4th and inches, 3rd and inches and it is a sneak pretty much every time with Brady. I read a stat earlier this year that his success rate was in the high 90's percentage wise.
  21. I think we can safely say the majority thought "what the bleep" when we first heard Hackett was calling plays in the booth. I'm glad he figured this out and was ability to adjust. It seems EJ prefers him to be on the sideline. Makes sense because Hackett is the QB coach as well.
  22. It only took Jeremy White to harp on it to Marrone for 4 weeks on the radio. Marrone and Hackett finally "got it".
  23. Exactly...I'm agreeing with you here...
  24. And they got the idea from WGR55 on the QB sneaks.
  25. How do you know what I was thinking? What I was REALLY thinking is that was a bad spot worthy of a challenge...even before the announcers said that. The thing with calling a challenge on spots is they are usually on short yardage and there is a scrum of players around the ball..usually why you don't win those because the refs have a hard time seeing the ball and giving conclusive evidence. There was clear video footage on that one as it was in the open field.
