At this point in the year as we have nothing to lose is just give Easley some consistent playing time.

He has not played well since he has been drafted. He can't seem to create space on screen passes. Doesn't run great routes or have great hands on the short or intermediate stuff. Even calling him a poor mans Roscoe Parrish is an insult to Roscoe. If they cut Nelson this off season you have to think Graham is on the outs as well. He is a non factor in the offense.

The Bills organization (Marrone and company) are riding off the coattails of Mike Pettine and the defense right now. Close games = good defense. The in-game management and offense needs a ton of work.

You would think that the Bills coaching staff would have noticed that in practice that he is just going on his 1st read. That type of information from practice might make you curtail him from passing in that short of a field at that point in the game.

It's more of a testament of how good our defense has played this year and how well Pettine has implemented his new scheme. A good defense will keep you in pretty much every game despite who you have at QB.

The defense has been robbed all year mainly by their own team.

Hacketts playcalling gets really dumb at each redzone. He just doesn't have situational in-game awareness to adjust.

On the media side the PS4 is a crippled device. No audio CD's, no MP3 playback, no DLNA streaming...lol. The feautres on the Xbox one blow the PS4 away. The Xbox one is going to be main next gen system for media hub and games. The PS4 is just going to be used to play exclusives and better running 3rd party titles.

The success of the analytics department will not hinge solely on Lyons. It's how good and innovative the staff he surrounds himself with. This isn't a one person job. You need a specialized team and they pretty much do all the work. I'm sure he won't be the only individual creating models or even analzying them. You also have to remember that analytics is only a tool and Lyons, Brandon, Marrone will be the ones to decide what models, numbers and percentages are relevent. Bias isn't an issue as Lyons doesn't have the final say. Think of Lyons as an advisor of the interpreted data to the brain trust at One Bills Drive.

Thats sort of my opinion as well. I think the "change" the people are talking about with the Bills. "How they look different" , "not getting blown out" is a direct result of Mike Pettine and the defense. IMO Marrone is getting credit and riding off the coattails of Pettine. Up to this point Marrone has been worse at in-gamangement than Jauron, Mularkey, Williams and Gailey.

Week in and week out the Bills D plays at an elite level but there is 2-4 big plays that overshadow their overall performance. Brees had like 8 possessions starting at the 40 or better because the offense was putting the special teams and defense in such poor field position. In that context the D was very good yesterday.

The defense is the only reason this team is competitive week in and week out. it's the only reason we won 3 games. Pettines scheme is very good. Advanced NFL stats has the Bills D ranked 11 IN THE NFL. This is based off several metrics.

Like bringing discipline and accountability yet you are the most penalized team in football and give the opposing teams the most 1st downs in the league from penalties due to a tleast multiple personal foul penalty's/game. Like talking about being an analytics coach and not going for 2 in an obvious situation today. Keep in context, the failed Marrone challenges wasn't the end all of the game but it is a disturbing trend of his coaching abilities.

This makes his in-game management that much worse. Has he made a correct challenge all year?
