  1. I read this on another website and was flabergasted. Can you guess the players? Fill in the blank. This is for last weeks game against the Steelers. Ok... So to begin we have EJ Manual who played 67 out of 67 plays - 100% 62 out of 67 plays ________________ 22 out of 67 plays __________________
  2. Well it seems the PS4 has problems running Call of Duty: Ghosts in native 1080p because framerate suffers compared to the Xbox One version. That's where I assume the tradeoff is coming from. Both IGN and Polygon updated their reviews of the game to note Ghosts consistently held at 60 frames per second, where the PS4 suffered noticeable framerate drops in multiplayer, as had been earlier mentioned by these publications and others. "The Xbox One release's framerate was far more noticeable," wrote Polygon. "As mentioned in the initial review, Call of Duty: Ghosts suffers from consistent framerate drops on the PS4, especially during multiplayer when action got especially hectic. The Xbox One version suffered no such drops, maintaining a steady 60 frames per second throughout."1 IGN's reviewer said he dealt with "occasional framerate issues during the single-player campaign on PS3 and PS4, whereas my time with the Xbox One version was stable throughout." http://kotaku.com/xbox-one-call-of-duty-offers-better-framerate-than-ps4-1463163114
  3. More front office incompetence headed by Russ Brandon. Sarcastic I hope.
  4. Yup! As I have said all along we improved defensively (credit due to Pettine) but have regressed offensively, special teams and head coaching in-game management.
  5. With stevie it is the quick slant. That is his bread in butter in the redzone. The fade to him the redzone was an awful playcall. There are a lot of casual fans that think this offense is really good.
  6. There are atleast a handful of drives this year where the defense gave the offense the opportunity to kick atleast a field goal (even if they go 3 and out) off of turnovers.
  7. There are 32 teams in the league: Offensive Touchdowns/game - 27 Points/play - 29 Points/game - 24 Redzone scores/game - 29 Redzone scoring % - 30 This is a bottom tier offense in the NFL.
  8. The lack of bootleg with both EJ and Thad is mind boggling as well.
  9. That's what I am afraid of too. IMO he will make an excellent head coach someday.
  10. No hb screens, no bubble screens to WR's, rarely see any curl routes to WR's or quick slants. No playaction with the QB under center. The last one is just mind boggling considering how run heavy his playcalling is. Sadly, Hackett just isn't a very good coordinator.
  11. Marrone is supposed to be an overseer of the all three phases? Have we seen him huddled with the individual groups on the sideline? You see it all the time with Billicheat and his defense.
  12. Exactly. While many were touting Marrone as a savior and that he is changing the culture, the red flags have been very apparent for several weeks (some starting at week 1). It only took this game for the "casual" fan to realize this. I also take exception that the defense is an issue. Pettine and the defense has been the only reason this team has been watchable.
  13. Marrone has been awful at in-game management all year.
  14. They literally give their opponent 3 free/extra first downs per/game. That's really, really bad.
  15. Yes they got pushed around in the run game, but the overall performance was still pretty good. The defense even gift wrapped a few drives for the offense but unfortunately this offense just plain sucks Yes. It was even worse than watching the Trent Edwards and Jauron era.
  16. So its going to be the weekly "its tough to win in the NFL" bit like with Jauron
  17. The defense was still pretty good today - enough win if we had a competent offense. However the Steelers imposed their will on them in the trenches when they had to.
  18. You nailed it! Doug Marrone is the WORST in game manager than Dick Jauron, It isn't even close.
  19. I never bought into the Doug Marrone "hope". Always thought our offense sucked and Nathaniel Hackett can't call a game. Mike Pettine is a brilliant coach though.
  20. Play up to better teams. Play down to average to bad teams. Losing many close games. Poor performance from the head coach - time management, reviews, 4th down strategy (punt/go for it) Poor offensive playcalling Poor QB play Last in the division Out of the playoffs by early Nov. *Fools gold* Was Dick Jauron on the sideline today? OMG that was dreadful.
  21. Yup. Both Marrone and Hackett are in over their head. They are not NFL caliber coaches.
  22. Marrone is so overrated. Just awful in-game management once again.
  23. Yeah. I have had a bad feeling about this game after I heard Polamalu on the radio this week. Their defense should be ready to play and Big Ben is always a pain in the ass for us. Keep in mind Rothlisberger is still playing very good football. This is a tougher game than most people think.
