  1. Nothing has changed with Marrone. Injuries, no depth, poor coaches challenges, poor time management, losing close games. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Atleast while the constant Russ Brandon has been around
  2. I agree. The idea of implementing advanced analytics and creating accountability amongst its players have been myths. The bad penalties are getting worse and worse.
  3. Dick Jauron in 3 years didn't botch coaches challenges to the extent Doug Marrone has done in his first 6 games.
  4. 3 quality CB's #1 receiver 1 or 2 quality starting offensive line man + depth Question marks still surround QB position Offensive coordinator Accountability
  5. They didn't establish any depth at CB, WR, OL and QB while being 20 million under the cap. The lack of depth at CB has been the achilles all year. A tremendous scheme being ruined by the lack of personnel. We have a head coach challenge that they fumbled where the opposing team recovered. Another challenge were he didn't even know the rules. We have an undisplined team that is getting unsportmanship misconduct penalties every single game this year. Were is the discpline and accountabilty Marrone preached in his initial presser? Where is the culture change? What I see is a front office that is performing as bad as it predecesers. Am I the only one not impressed with what Russ Brandon has done?
  6. Just think how bad this team is. If it wasn't for the defense we wouldn't have won a game this year.
  7. Actually its not the same to what you are referring too. In this case Wililams ran to the guy to jaw at him. It's an easy 15 yard penalty.
  8. Yup, you see this kind of crap from the Bills players every week.
  9. While the defense has been crap today, the offense hasn't done anything to help create a win. They have scored 10 points for gods sake.
  10. That's were the accountabilty comes in. Or the problem with Marrone, the lack there of.
  11. The sad thing is, Marrone might be the worst headcoach of them all.
  12. Brandon and Marrone were all about changing the culture and creating accountabilty. It was a complete fraud.
  13. I thought when Marrone was hired he was about accountability. Yet for the first 7 weeks the Bills are good for atleast 2 unsportmanship penalties a game. The Marrone era is a complete joke.
  14. Kiko is getting lit up really bad today. Gilmore is a liability.
  15. 1) Quarterback (how can this not be #1 on everyones list) 2) Elite pass rush or a defense that is opportunistic. What I mean by opportunistic is it doesn't matter about total yards given up as long as you create turnovers. 3) Coaching
  16. To be top 5 in total rushing yards when you lead the league in attempts (the last I read the stat was before last week) is not all that impressive. We had like over 50 rushing attempts in a single game for like 200 yards. You will get your yards when you rush it that much. To be honest, Gailey's running attack was more impressive IMO.
  17. More competent organizations than the Bills had Manuel on their board between the 3rd and 5th round. The manuel pick was never about value to begin with.
  18. What are you talking about. He was injured the majority of the preseason. If you take that into account, he has been injured in almost as many games as he played. It will probably be more after he heals from the injury. That's the definition of injury prone.
  19. Some formations I'd run is a combination of power running formations using the fullback as a blocker, pistol (read-option) along with split back formations with CJ and Jackson and a wrinkle with CJ and TJ Graham. I'd also throw in some wild-cat with thad Lewis. Keep it simple but formations that will keep the defense on their heels. Also, screens, bubble screens, quick slants, shuffle passes to Graham out of the back field. Max protection, play action down field.
  20. I have GREAT confidence in Mike Pettine but the rest of the coaching staff are in over their head.
  21. I'm basing it off the body of work. It's a small sample but Smith showing he can make the throws down field...EJ not so much EJ injury prone.. It also begs the question about Hackett, Smith is outplaying EJ with MUCH less weapons at his disposal. Could part of the problem be Hacketts poor scheme?
  22. You forgot to mention Buffalo? Working with less, Smith is playing better, showing a more accurate arm. Smith is also gaining experience while Manuel is sitting on the bench. I can't stress it enough how the injury problem is a big concern with EJ going forward.
  23. It's actually VERY impressive what Geno Smith is doing considering his only weapon on offense is Holmes and perhaps Hill who are both injured. EJ has a lot more talent around him in Spiller, Jackson, Johnson, Chandler. EJ hasn't looked very good in the passing game, especially on the deep ball and the throws to wide open receivers and tight ends.
  24. So you're saying Fitzy=Manuel and Kelly = Geno
