  1. He hasn't been playing well today. Missing and not even reading wide open receivers down field for touchdowns and checking it down at a greater rate than trent edwards. Add into the conservative, up-tempo offense and you get these results.

  3. Hackett you are the weak link...goodbye!
  4. The only bad call by the refs was the missed 15 yard penalty that should have been called on the panthers against stevie.
  5. Up-temp is not sustainable for the defense. They are gassed.
  6. Up-temp is not sustanable for the defense. They are gassed.
  7. Just imagine if we didn't have Mike Pettine. Only thing holding this team together.
  8. We have another head coach that is obvlious to analytics.
  9. You're giving Marrone too much credit that he would go for it on 4th down.
  10. The Russ Brandon era isn't looking good. Marrone looking average. Hackett in over his head. Manuel missing about 4-5 wide open touchdown opportunities.
  11. Inexcusble coaching. I understand up temp offense but you have to control the clock before the half (especially if you get the ball starting the 3rd quarter). Even worse they pull this crap with the lead in the 4th quarter.
  12. Yup. Gailey is a great offensive mind.
  13. Panthers should have never had a chance to drive in their at the end to begin with.
  14. Yeah, although a small sample Hackett looks in way over his head. Marrone looking very ordinary (conservate punting, field goals) and really dumb in some instances in terms of clock management and challanges.
  15. With Pettine being the exception, perhaps we are witnessing a worse coaching staff than Jauron, Mularkey, Williams. Marrone and Hackett are oblivious at clock management before the half and at the end of games. VERY, VERY concerning. In terms of offensive scheme Gailey > Hackett so far. However, Pettine is a genius. This team would implode if it wasn't for him. Too bad Pettine will be ahead coach next year.
  16. Marie is the wildcard for me in the final episodes. I have no clue what she is going to do but I predict it will be one of those gilligan jaw dropping moments. Saul Goodman is one of the most interesting men in the world. Ex girlfriends, strip joints, shady dealings, back stories with all his connections (Mike, Gus etc) and probably a lot more we never heard about in breaking bad. One thing we never saw in breaking bad is Saul in court!!! That will be awesome. I believe his two goons will be pivotal characters in the show.
  17. With our new defensive philopshy, no I wouldn't have crucified him. I believe in our defense now. Have no issues with being aggresive on 4th downs especially over the 50 yard line.
  18. I remember that 4th and one and was thinking the exact same thing. Despite all the rhetoric about analytics and being on the cutting edge, Marrone is looking more like same ol' in terms of in game philosphy on 4th downs.
  19. Night and day difference in schemes between Wansteedt and Pettine. Wansteedt proclaimed blitzing would "expose" the secondary. The mentality of this defense is night and day as well. Punishing ball carriers. Well Pettine proved that wrong today. With a bunch of back up CB's and safety's, this was one of the srongest games by the secondary in recent history against arguably the best QB in the NFL. As I said last year, scheme and coaching matters...big time!
  20. Do you even know how to interpet # of carries. Your argument even shows Jackson wasn't "featured". At the very best Jackson had split carries with Spiller. My whole point is Jackson should have received the majority of the carries after the 1st quarter. More apparent strategy to focus on at halftime. So you just proved my point, didn't you? It's not about playing behind Jackson. Spiller is the starting RB. But when you see a matchup, don't you want to take adavantage of it? The Bills coaching staff didn't realize this which is concerning.
