I just started and finished watching Breaking Bad

My prediction is that Lydia will be behind the murder of one of Walt's families members. She puts a hit on Walt and in either a case of mistaken identity (Walt Jr.) or just collateral damage his daughter, Skylar, or Walt Jr ends up dead. -

The episode Blood Money was just another example why Breaking Bad is the best show on television. Have to agree with the above about the excellent writing. Garage scene was brilliant. True to Gilligan style throughout BB, "All killa, no filla." -

The Indy announcers are some of the worst at calling the game. They really, really suck. The Indy media and camera coverage is also OBSESSED with coach Pagan. They probably have showed him upwards of 25-30 times already on the sideline. -

Goodwin beasting!!! NFL network coverage is BRUTAL. The colts announcers are clueless and the broadcast pans to the Colts HC between every break between plays and changes of possesion. -

Giancarlo Esposito is my favorite actor in the show along with Jonathan Banks and Charles Baker (Skinny Pete). Charles Baker is the most underrated actor in the show, I think he is amazing. Just look at pictures of him in real life and how he transforms himself into such a realistic drug addict. The guy is the furthest thing from a drug addict. I also love Bob Odenkirk. I hope Saul Goodman gets a spinoff show. Remember Odenkirk on Seinfeld? -
Oriental Raisin Tea Drink, good for hangovers

Water, water and more water. Actually after a night of heavy drinking you should drink as much water as you can stomach before you go to bed. When you think you have had enough, drink another glass. Your hungover because you are severly dehydrated. -

But that homie's dead. He just doesn't know it yet... F&^%, I can't wait until Aug 11. What is Gilligans next "EPIC MOMENT(S)? He has somehow managed to trump one after another as this series has progressed. -

F Yeah! Can't wait. I just re-watched seasons 1-5 for a refresh and to make sure I didn't forget any small character/plot details leading up to the final episodes. Great, great show...the best. -
If it wasn't for the lack of proabable cause, lack of evidence and the jury instructions I would have found him guilty...but I did want to find him guilty. Jesus christ, that's what I make of her comments! Juror 6 is an idiot....too many stupid people in this world...at least there were other jurors their to curtail her stupidity. This is the same juror that went through the entire trial and wanted to walk out at the last minute during diliberations and hang the jury, correct?
-
You do realize that there was no probable cause to bring this to a criminal proceeding to begin with right?
-
I love how Holder is using the Zimmerman case as an example to look at the stand your ground law. The DOJ is even feeding on the misinformed. Also the Judge didn't even allow racial profiling to enter into the trial because there was no evidence of it yet you have the federal government turning this into a racial issue. The defense even ruled out stand your ground and didn't use this as their defense. It was a classic self defense case.
-
The most concerning thing I see is a witchunt with polticial influence all the way up from the president to the state and federal levels (DOJ) when there was no probable cause to even bring this to criminal court to begin with. A special prosecutor comes in with trumped up charges after the police chief and state attorney are fired because of outside political pressure and not based on the actual evidence or lack there of in this particular case. A jury finds GZ not guilty and the one juror even said race was not an issue in this case at all. Race wasn't even mentioned in the deliberations, yet the president, media, state and federal heads continue to push the race buttons. To top it off you have a state attorney of all people calling GZ a "murderer" after he was found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Absolutely DISGUSTING! BTW, this is coming from a Canadian

Dershowitz doesn't pull any punches when asked about Angela Cory MIKE HUCKABEE: You have said that you thought the prosecutor ought to be disbarred, that's a pretty serious type of violation to get a person disbarred. It is that serious to you? ALAN DERSHOWITZ: Right, it is. She submitted an affidavit that was, if not perjurious, completely misleading. She violated all kinds of rules of the profession, and her conduct bordered on criminal conduct. She, by the way, has a horrible reputation in Florida. She's known for overcharging, she's known for being highly political. And in this case, of course she overcharged. Halfway through the trial she realized she wasn't going to get a second degree murder verdict, so she asked for a compromised verdict, for manslaughter. And then, she went even further and said that she was going to charge him with child abuse and felony murder. That was such a stretch that it goes beyond anything professionally responsible. She was among the most irresponsible prosecutors I've seen in 50 years of litigating cases, and believe me, I've seen good prosecutors, bad prosecutors, but rarely have I seen one as bad as this prosecutor, [Angela] Cory. (Huckabee, July 14, 2013)

According to the "experts" that were brought forth in the trial, the gunshot wound, distance of the shot and ballastic evidence was consistent with Zimmerman shooting him while Martin was on top of him. The prosecution couldn't refute this either.
-
That's how the prosecution dealth with the evidence or lack there of in the case. Maybe this, maybe that. On the prosecutor side you can't try a case like that. There was simply no evidence that supported this. You can't prove 2nd degree murders on "maybe's". On the other hand the defense had cold hard proof that lead to his aquittal.
-
However, the evidence is not consistent with Zimmeran starting the fight. There was not a single injury to Trayvon other than the gunshot. You would think he would have gotten atleast one blow in on Trayvon if he threw the first punch.
-
The burdon for self defense is much lower than proving 2nd degree murder. If you think he (Zimmerman) may of acted in self defense you have to aquit him. It's that simple. The evidence in this case is so strong that he could have acted in self defense. That's all you need to aquit him.
-
You are in idiot. They absolutely do. Tryavon being on top means trayvon has the upper hand and its consistnet with the gunshot. A displaced noise and cuts on the back of the head means Trayvon assualted Zimmerman. That's evidence that Trayvon assualted him. The lead detective saying that Trayvons father said that wasn't him screaming on the tape implies it was George Zimmerman. Screaming for help is evidence that George could be fearing for his life at the time. Conclusion. Zimmeran has a right to act in self defense.
-
I guess he missed. 1) Eyewitness of Trayvon on top of Zimmerman 2) Lead detective saying George Zimmerman interviews are consistent and that he believed him. 3) Lead detective impled that Tracy Martin said that wasn't his son (Trayvon) screaming on the tape 4) Evidence that George Zimmerman was assualted by Trayvon. 5) No evidence that Trayvon was assualted prior to gunshot. Thats only the tip of the iceberg.

Reading the headlines, and listening to the talking heads pushing agendas instead of watching the trial. I watched this entire trial from opening to closing arguments. It was dispicable how little evidence the DA had. This trial was to show how racist George zimmerman and how race was at the forefront. It wasn't. What it actually showed is a witchunt. There was no blatant racist remarks by George zimmerman, the only blatant racist remarks where by Trayvon martin (calling Zimmerman a cracker) but nobody talks about Trayvon and his friend Rachel being racists. Race was totally blown out of proportion in this trial, the prosecutors had no evidence in their case and actually you could argue the DEFENSE actually proved George zimmerman not just not guilty but innocent. Did you know George Zimmerman has mentored young black kids in the past? What a racist.

At least one lawyer Alan Dershowitz "gets it" http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/dershowitz-zimmerman-trayvon-martin/2013/07/12/id/514847

What makes it worse is the majority of the talking heads on HLN and CNN that cover this 24/7 are lawyers. They even totally miss the point that the the evidence and the law of florida dictate the proper result of a not guilty verdict. This whole thing is a sham. Disgusting.
-
These are the type of conclusions you get when you didn't actually watch the trial. Instead looked at the headlines and Nancy Grace. The Jurors followed the law and did their job correctly. There is a difference between what George Zimmerman might have been wrong, BUT according to Florida law it wasn't illegal.

I think you are right about this. A lot of the evidence that was deemed "prejudical" in the criminal trial, I don't think the same thing applies in the civil. From what it seems like there was a lot of evidence witheld that shows he is simply not just a (innocent) "child" that the prosecutors liked to potray to the media and jury.
