Is Vemma legit or a scam?
BuffaloBillsForever replied to b stein 22's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Have no idea what Vemma is but BBB ratings of a company does not necessarily give you an accurate picture IMO. -
Ok....

He was playing great football his last year with Raiders. He was about to lead them to the playoffs before he got hurt. During a broadcast that year they were talking about how statistically he improved each year as starter IIRC beggining with the Skins. Keep in mind, historically, Campbell has played on bad teams. I believe he is better than the sum.
-
Jason Campbell is one of the most underrated QB's in the league. He should have been the starting QB for the Raiders this year. They were so stupid to dump him after he got hurt. I would have taken Campbell over Fitz in a heartbeat. I would all be for signing him.

Childrens toys. For christs sake some of them were made out of cast iron. Made to last a lifetime, actually forever. Even the quality of toys from 30-years ago there is a huge difference than today - GI Joe, transformers, tonka trunks, star wars figureens, remember those rubber WWF wrestlers (those were awesome hahaha). Those rubber WWF wrestlers would have last forever until I took a magnify glass to them in the sun....what an idiot I am! The toys today are cheap, and flimsy. Not made to last. Candy - gum, chocolate bars etc. -

I was skeptical of capsule based coffee machines until I tried the Nespresso Citiz. It is a really well engineered machine. It produces a beutiful crema. It takes little time, work and cleanup to pull a quality espresso or make a cappuccino. Fill tank with water (takes 60 secs for the water to warm), warm up cup with hot water (dump water), insert coffee capsule. Press button. I pulled a shot into a clear shot glass and the espresso looks exactly as shown in the pictures. I haven't tried it yet but there is a youtube video of modding the capsules to use your own coffee. I was a major skeptic but it's way more consistent than a semi-automatic machine. Semi-automatic machines are a nice performance/price ratio but there is definitely a learning curve and are much more time consuming and less consistent unless you are true pro. -
Questions re: 5.1 surround sound
BuffaloBillsForever replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Each speaker is wired with speaker cable to the corresponding input on the receiver. The subwoofer is wired with a subwoofer cable running from the input on the subwoofer the subwoofer output on the receiver. A HDMI cable is hooked up to the Blu-ray player to an in HDMI input on the receiver. Another HDMI cable is hooked up to the HDMI output on the receiver to the television. For the Direct TV hook up either use a coaxial digital cable or optical/toslink cable (whatever connection the Direct TV receiver supports) from the Direct TV receiver to the input on the receiver. Plug in receiver and subwoofer into electrical outlet. I can't explain how to hook up your computer to the system without knowing its connections -

5.1 audio is processed in the receiver. Thinink of it as the central hub. A terrific starter system for you would be a Pioneer speaker system (designed by Andrew Jones). Thanks for your input. I get the underlying story of Boardwalk Empire but what is the quick synopsis of Mad Men? -

I'm all caught up on Breaking Bad for the moment. What a terrific show! I'm thinking of watching Mad Men or Boardwalk Empire next? Which one is the better series? -
Joe Flacco has the best QB performance in the playoffs thus far. In a game that relies so heavily on QB play, the QB's have been very dull for the most part (including that of the wild cards last week)
-
Patriots are beatable especially if the Ravens can find a way to run the ball. Ravens are facing a weaker defense next week, although the Patriots D will surely be coached up a lot better than what Denver was today. There was a TON of confusion with Del Rio's defense today.
-
Fox didn't have a good today. Overrated head coach IMO.
-
The best regular season quarterback of all-time. Stagnat, underperforming offense today. Without the special teams touchdowns, this game isn't as close. Congrats to Flacco. Some huge throws he made today. Still don't like his damenour though, looks ready to cry all the time. So the final results are in at Mile High. Manning = Tebow...LOL!
-
Loudmouth in what sense? Bellicheat isn't a loudmouth, Marv Levy isn't a loudmouth (but a complainer to refs).
-
Every Broncos game I watch, when they show Fox he is constantly bitching and whining to the refeeres. At the same time they are getting calls in their favor... Manning...oh manning...and his complaining... Fox and Manning are WAY more annoying than Bellicheat and Brady in 2012.

Pettine is all about creativity and most importantly adjustments and adapting personnel and scheme whether its 34, 43 or 46. This guy is a change of guard for Buffalo. Complete 360 from Wannstedt. "A year and a half after Rex Ryan and Mike Pettine devised one of the most creative defensive game plans in NFL history, the duo quietly made a shift that could jolt a lagging pass rush. Gang Green dressed an unthinkable 11 defensive backs — 25% of the active roster — to stymie Tom Brady in a 28-21 divisional playoff win over the Patriots in January of 2011. For the better part of three seasons, Pettine and Ryan have relied on innovative and unconventional tactics to create havoc within the framework of their 3-4 scheme. Although the Jets will retain some of those 3-4 roots, Pettine admitted that “we’re going to be more 4-3” to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks. The Jets have finished 18th, seventh and 17th in the league in sacks under Ryan. Pettine went so far as to predict that the Jets may not play any 3-4 base defense in their six AFC East games that feature three teams with spread offenses. “We might not play a snap of base defense in a division game this year,” Pettine said. “If it’s five snaps a game, that’s probably a lot.” http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/ny-jets-scrap-3-4-defense-times-article-1.1096110
