  1. Post of the year! Good job!
  2. The hole has been dug, Grimm would fill the hole dirt. Awful!
  3. Progressive offensive mind that can adapt to roster (whether it's a college coach or young assitant) Agressive in game coaching mentality, attention to detail in game Somebody with a strong personality that can install a culture change and add a swagger.
  4. By your logic we should hire Norv Turner then.
  5. HELL NO (emphasized) multiplied by infinity!
  6. ABSOLUTELY NOT!
  7. ABSOLUTELY NOT!
  8. Not really. Things might be different this year because there are so many coaching and GM vacancies and the Bills have to move fast. I can't remember the last time in recent history Ralph Wilson fired a coach on a Monday, let alone the day after the football season.
  9. Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey flying out to Detroit for end of year meeting with Ralph Wilson. This is a standard meeting but their future with the team should be conclusive by today.
  10. Tannenbaum fired in NY (Jets GM), Rex Ryan stays. Browns also fire their GM.
  11. Thanks. You're right, he might get canned as well. I also forgot about the Chargers GM. He will be fired too. Isn't how crazy how many coaches will be fired? Could get up to double digits.
  12. Early Firings Jags GM Romeo Crennel (Chiefs coach) Pat Shurmur (Browns) Andy Reid Norv Turner Probable Firings Cheifs GM Ron Riviera (panthers coach) Mike Munchack (Titans Coach) Chain Gailey On the hot seat Jim Schwartz (Lions Coach) Buddy Nix Rex Ryan Jason Garrett This could be a recording setting year. Not a good year for a small market team like the Bills to try to land a big name head coach. Demand > Supply. BTW the list of head coaches suck that are coming or potentially coming onto the market (above). Demand becomes even greater and supply dwindles when the best coaches are either coming from retirement or the college ranks. Not many "up and coming assistants" either in the NFL to choose from.
  13. The cure for a struggling QB is a Dave Wannstedt run defense! Where rookie quarterbacks and veteran journeyman turn to all-stars!
  14. I'm going to laugh pretty hard if Sancheese gashes the Bills D with the read-option this series.
  15. Yet they have moved the ball quite well on two of those 3 drives. Pathetic.
  16. Two longs drives from Sancheeze and company. Most pathetic, one dimensional offense still can move the ball on Wannstedts defense.
  17. I had high hopes for Wannstedt too. My mind is boggled how much of a disappointment he has been. Not only is the scheme garbage, like you said the players look confused an unprepared. Just look at the read-option the last 3 weeks. You can point to talent as an issue but it is part coaching as well.
  18. Exactly. And when people talk about a big change in 34-43 scheme from Edwards to Wannstedt don't even know the actual scheme Edwards ran. Our last defensive coordinator actually ran a 34/43 hybrid. What was the majority base defense, it was a 43! So the base scheme is irrelevant. The stats you mention are egregious. Fearthelosing where does our defense rank in running yards allowed all-time?
  19. We are uniquely bad in the sense of what we invested in the offseason on the defense and the return (lack there of). New Orleans has been bad defensively since the superbowl and they have not done anything to fix it. This is exactly what I am wondering. Chan seemed less prepared this year. I wonder if there was any delegating during the week other than the defensive duties? I get the impression Chan really trusts Wannstedt to do his thing.
