  1. They will surely be a test for the run defense. Strong and physical run attack with as you know a back that is tough to take down. They also have the abilty to stretch the field vertically in the pass game. Lots of mismatches facing Wannstedt tommorow. Does Wansteedt play his typical 4 down lineman defense with a minor blitz once in a blue moon or does he try to get creative showing different looks and blitz schemes? What are your thoughts going into this game? Is our defensive "improvement" sustainable or is it just a fraud of playing bad offense teams for the most part.
  2. Actually, Cecil Shorts is the guy that will more likely burn you for that big play.
  3. Yeah. Wansteedts crappy scheme will have different CB's and even LB on occasion covering the best WR on the field throughout the game. Put your best WR in the slot and odds are Gilmore won't be covering him.
  4. Blackmon isn't even the best WR on that team.
  5. He's good for atleast a couple of penalties and blown assignements a game right now. He is also "picked on" by QB's every week. Not what I call a shutdown corner. Becoming one...not yet....he still has a lot of game to work on. As a 1st round pick I have more hope for him than what I ever had for McKelvin. Gilmore will be a servicable CB in this league.
  6. Exactly....and when the game has been on the line for the defense they have failed miserably in the 4th quarter.
  7. So Jim Caldwell is essentially going to be a puppet OC for Harbaugh like he was a puppet HC for Manning....
  8. Look at the reaction of Lindell, the body language of Stevie Johnson. The comments made by CJ Spiller.
  9. it was fun watching the Giants kick the living crap out of the Saints. Team is a bigger mess than the Bills right now because they were expected to atleast make the playoffs. o-line bad and defense bad (which they have been for a couple of years now). Average WR's (find them similar quality to the Bills) just with a MUCH better quarterback. They are an interesting expirement right now. Elite quarterback without the coach.
  10. I give the credit to playing REALLY bad offensive teams. Like today, the Rams prior hadn't scored a touchdown in 7 quarters prior to this game. They scored two today.
  11. Agree. It's no surprise when the defense has had some success in the 1st half, teams generally perform well enough to come back and win in close games. Wansteedt is a dolt.
  12. This is the type of game you fire a headcoach into the 3rd year of ineptness.
  13. ...and atleast TRY to utilize their best players. No excuse for CJ hardly getting any touches today.
  14. The Rams I would call a bad football team and a dome team at that. This game falls on a lot of bad coaching decisions.
  15. Schaub and Stafford 2nd tier. Romo, Freeman, Palmer and Dalton 3rd tier.
  16. Elite: 1st Tier Brady P. Manning E. Manning Brees Rodgers Rothlisberger Tier 2: Rivers Flacco Ryan Newton Tier 3: Ponder Bradford Fitzpatrick Gabbert Weeden Not enough information to classify into any tier as of today: Luck RG3 Wilson
  17. No. Just the most overrated.
  18. Andy Reid as head coach for the Bills I wouldn't touch with a 100ft pole.
  19. How about Brees screwing up the most basic time management at the end of the 1st half. Imagine Fitz doing that and throwing 5 picks in a single game.
  20. Like I said earlier in the thread, Saints are a mess. Actually it's like watching a trainwreck.
  21. They're not a good football team this year.
  22. Saints football is no longer good football.
  23. I don't think I would ever call a 10-1 team vs a 5-6 a "big game" even in the division.
  24. I hear that Mark Sanchez getting blown up by his own offensive linemans butt was Firemans Eds final straw. Being a "superfan" and "quitting" on that same team are not synonymous are they?
