Yeah, OJ and Zimmerman are not even close. I think it is a bit of stretch that they will get anything in a civil suit. The evidence is simply not there. There wasn't even probable cause to bring this trial once the investigation was done. Then the media and politics got involved.
-
Never watched a trial before where it was so clear that the prosecution NEVER proved their case. There was reasonable doubt all over. The jury got this ABSOLUTELY correct. If you follow the evidence and the law (jury instructions) non guilty is correct. Trumped up charges, prosecutal misconduct with discovery. I don't even know this should have gotten to trial the evidence was so lacking, but since it did Manslaughter and the lesser charge of the 3rd degree should have been the charges. The DA were idiots for overcharging and not arguing in the trial about manslaughter. Omara was fanstastic.

Won't matter much IMO. It would be just the cherry on top for the prosecution. Keep in mind, rarely do investigartos or prosecturos have the "smoking gun" to go with. Jury's have convicted individuals of murder even when there isn't even evidence of what was the cause of death or even have a body of a victim. Jury's usally convict on circumstantial evidence and the cirumstantial evidence is VERY strong against Hernandez.

It's fake?

The audio was really bad coming from the feed from the NFL network. It sounds like a lot of electronic evidence (texts, survellances) as well as hard foresnciscs (cars, guns) tied him to the crime. The audio was shoddy but the DA even said something about fingerprints, but I couldn't understand the context because the audio was so poor in courtroom.

Your not going to see as many hardware problems or changes to the hardware like we did last gen. In terms of hardware issues disk failures and heat issues will be put to rest because neither console will be running off disks. Used for installation purposes. Everything this generation will be more about software and the cloud than the actual hardware they are backing. Backwards compatible won't happen down the road. Even if they could do it which I don't think they can with this archeticure. Usally price drops happen years down the road, backwards compatible adds costs to the console. It doesn't make sense for them either way.
-
That's true. In terms of the PS3, every model AFTER the 1st generation was actually a "downgrade". Was the 1st generation the only model that could do 3D as well?

It's more like atleast a year at a lower price.

Decided to pre-order a ps4 as well. I'll wait and see how this plays out in the coming months when more information surfaces on each console.

A Microsoft employee said this information is wrong. If you are banned from xbox live you will still have access to your game library to play offline. Also he stated the system is designed for flexibility so after the life cycle is over they can make firmware changes so you will still have access to your games. It won't become a "brick". Does the PS4 have an HDMI IN port? Another thing I learned this morning is that with the Xbox one you can tether your xbox 360, set top box, or your pc to the xbox one. The more I get past the outcry that is mostly misinformation, the xbox one is actually the true "next gen" console.

My understanding atleast with the launch titles that will implement cloud processing like Forza 5, there is no taxing on the system (all that is processed in the cloud) and its condensed into a small file (they say Kilobytes) then sent to the xbox one. Your internet connection won't be an issue. You can play the game offline too.

Does this have to do with the 24 hour check in?

Great article. I like your comments about why the kinect is mandatory for the Xbox one because it WILL be easier to intergrate and innovate going forward through user experiences, media, games etc knowing that the entire user base will have one. Now for the consiparcy theorists about spying all you have to do is power down the kinect and the xbox one after you are done using the console. It can't do anything when they are both off. Also what nobody else is talking about is the Xbox ones ability to share your game library digitally to other users across the world. With all the complaints about DRM and used games nobody talks about this excellent feature. Microsoft isn't just doing all this stuff to screw us. A lot of these decisions I consider short term pain for long term gain. Microsoft seems to be thinking ahead of Sony and I can gaurantee Sony will eventually be adapting to a lot of these policies people are complaining about. It will be interesting to see what is going on in 3 years.

The more I look into the xbox one, it's actually more "next gen" than the PS4 going into launch and going forward. The price of the consoles are actually the same, but MS forces the kinect for the added price and I think that is a good thing for pushing innovation. Activating the console with your voice. The thing is pretty advanced like being able to see in the dark, get your pulse and such. In a first person shooter you tap your temple to activate night vision. Thats next gen! Move the controller or you body while you are shooting to dodge or raise a shield etc. Microsoft is also being aggressive with cloud computing, Sony is just sitting back and saying yeah we can do it if we want. Launch titles liken Forza 5 and launch window titles like Titan fall will be implementing cloud computing. On day one of launch Microsoft will have 300,000 servers. Just on day one! Microsoft just seems more ambitioius to me, like the possibilty of 4k gaming. I can definitely see why people are upset with the 24 check in making it mandatory to have the internet but the other concerns like privacy is just misinformation as both the xbox one and kinect have power down buttons. You have total control of your privacy restrictions. As for the DRM, will see it on the PS4 as well.
-
So the xbox one will be able to do 4k gaming while the PS4 can't. That's going to end up being a BIG advantage for the Xbox One as the life cycle of these consoles progress.
-
LOL They are pretty much the same specs, same archeticheure. There is a disconnect here abou the Kinect. It needs to be physically connected to the console but that doesn't mean it needs to be "on" Used games are left to the publisher, same as it will be on the PS3 Though I still think it is a mistake about the 24 hour check in. I don't like that. Not a deal breaker though. Always on would be a deal breaker.

I have the Xbox One pre-ordered for now, but I'll wait and see. What I do like Microsoft is doing when it comes to taking advanatage of the mandatory internet connection is that they are going to utilize the cloud to upload dynamic player profiles/tendancies in realtime to replace AI. Like with Forza 5. When your playing single player, you are still playing against human tendancies (millions of other player profiles that are uploaded into the cloud) and not programmed artificial intellegence set forth by the game developer.

Is anyone else worried about Da'Rick Rogers
BuffaloBillsForever replied to bufffan031's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not at all. Practice is just that. Remember all the hype of Roscoe Parrish mindblowing "practices". What did that amount too? All that matters is what happens on the field. That remains to be seen. In conxtect to Rogers, I am not worried at all. There is absolutely nothing to lose with this guy and everything to gain. Really glad he decided to sign with Buffalo.
